Technically they can sue for no reason. Frivolous law suits are a thing and are mostly used as a threat knowing that the cost of defending against the law suit tends to be more than it is worth. If a Frivolous law suit is filed (good luck filing against an online user) you would need to file a counter suit for damages, time lost, all court costs, and attorney fees. More than likely any attempt would be instantly thrown out as the person does not own any rights to the IP and has no legal basis to file suit.
