Just use Classic Flyers mod and their cool Exotic Flyer Totem and you can have Griffins spawning: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/895711211/1519260397780064751/ Seems it will also spawn wyverns in the trench with nests if enabling SpawnWyverns=1 on the CF Settings in the GameUserSettings.ini.
