The Island Vs. Ragnarok

What map is better right now to start in with a medium tribe in term of alphas. I mean do you have a better chance of finding a server without crazy alpha tribes on ragnarok or the island?

It really depends, Rag might be more prone to alpha's as it is much more abundant in resources, but just monitor server pops before joining, maybe join a couple ask around and see what others on the server say. You will have more luck with that than trying to determine if a map type will have more alphas or not. In reality it comes down to the specific server or server cluster, not the map type.

I mean one might say Rag has more alphas cause of better resource spawns but you compare a rag server with 20 average player pop to an island server with 70+ average players and you can do the math on which one is more likely to attract an alpha's attention
