I've been doing pretty well on the Island, built a few huts and tamed 2 dodos, a Philo, and a Parasaur. I have a funny screenshot on my other computer of a long neck standing on one of my huts while apparently enjoying the view. I tried the Scorched Earth map this morning & hit some bugs about 15 minutes into it (can't swing tools- already asked in the bug reporting section) I might try playing on a PVE server tonight? Introduce yourself when you join the server, dont build right next to someones base if you can render their walls your to close. Before you ask 1 billion questions in global remember most of us have been playing for along time so google the question before asking. If you join a server and get a bad vibe, leave before you are committed to that server. Other than that have fun most people are super helpful.
