hey

i am trying to beat the monkey boss with my tribe on official we are 5 man and after the last patch we left with no tactic 

if u have any idea how to beat him pls write it here

beat him last night did zerg with rexes hung back and shot with assault rifles( don't recommend this lost over half the rexes off the cliff.... next time will designate target )

You can back the rexxes up and kite him to them. That is how we have done it every time. Fight lasts about 40 seconds on Medium(we norm take about 4 minutes to set up tho).

What I did was breeded level 260 Rexes. The boss lasted for about a minute before it ended. This is the best method that our team of 3 found.

IMPORTANT: dont ever think riding your rex during the fight, as it's stone throwing attack instakills you even if you are in a saddle. 

- Bring 20 rexes with your best saddle

- when dropped in the arena, ONE member whistle the rexes to neutral and follow to the bottom of the steps. BEWARE: make sure no rexes fall down, because they will be killed (it is not logged as dead, but you will lose that rex)

- go up the top of the stairs, aggro the mega by shooting it

- run back to behind your rexes, whistle attack

- go far back, and OPTIONALLY feel free to shoot the mega. Make sure you are as far from the mega as possible not to get accidentally hit by the flying rock.

Thats all. No magic or trick, just pure 20 rex vs boss, with optional shooting. Even 1 guy is enough (because the damage comes from the rex), more is recommended in case of crashing or accidental dying...  (if you go in alone and die/crash, you lose te battle and all the bosses, so backup people are recommended).

What do you advise for Rex stats? HP min  Melee Min

It is more about HP than melee for Monkey. We can do Med Monkey pretty fast with 35k hp and 725%ish Meele on all rexxes. If you bring a yut and and boost your dinos, it helps out alot. We used same rexxes for hard and they almost all died. None did die, but he got them to about 1k.
