Rintrahhh
With the new Xbox update I'm able to view the ancestry. I've been breeding pteranadons and I've got 4 pairs that I've been breeding. I've been careful not to inbreed them because of the new system. Anyway, the baby I hatched this morning shows the ancestry line but the ones I've bred before the update doesn't have the ancestors listed. My question is, if I happen to inbreed (one time) any of the ones that don't show the ancestry line, will they be susceptible to random mutations? Sly808
With the new update any dinos that you breed from now on will have the chance for random mutations. The dinos you bred before the update will be treated as wild tamed dinos with no relations at all. As far as I know there are no negatives to inbreeding yet. See this thread, specifically the second page. Someone included a post from Jat on this.
Rintrahhh
Thank you, that's what I suspected when the ancestry log was blank.
