  1. ARK Overhaul "Tame your Game" First I would like to make sure I apologize at least once for the times I have lost my temper on these forums... I get that this is a massive game and it is probably extremely difficult to keep it all running smoothly... but never the less we paid for a product that should work as intended and advertised. Especially when it was your decision as a company to create such a massive game and build such hype around that very concept, not to mention building, taming, breeding, etc... I'm sure we can agree on that. So my suggestion, and I can't speak for the whole community when I say this so I hope they would make their opinions heard in the comments... Is to postpone the next Genesis DLC, and the TLC, until a complete overhaul of the games internal problems is completed... Crashes, Bugs, Glitches, Optimization, everything... On every map... Servers AND Single Player... PCs, Xbox AND PlayStation... With it being ported to consoles by professionals that specializes in that specifically and can do it correctly... Like I said I can't speak for the entire community, but I'm almost positive most would agree... This game had grown beyond your grasp a looong time ago... and I don't mean that as an insult... It is a beautiful thing and I commend your concepts for growing into such a force of nature with a life of its own... But just like we do in this game for hours on end. Most of them being lost completely due to these same bugs and glitches... You need to Tame your Game... You need to get it under control and working correctly... From building, to taming, to breeding, to just exploring the map, gathering the artifacts, and fighting the end bosses all the way to ascension. All the way through each map... You need to fix ALL the MAJOR issues that keep you from simply playing the game as intended... Tested Thoroughly and Ported Professionally... There is no need to put this off any longer considering your almost at the games end life and have grown into such a vast company... unless you decide to add more to it passed the DLC and TLC which would be nice but I don't even see how you could... but I really believe all your future game's sales will hurt if you ignore this, and explode beyond your dreams if you actually listen... I'm pretty positive people would be much more inclined to jump back into the game for the last DLC and TLC, and for years on years afterwards, if you did this. I'm also pretty sure they would not mind waiting for the DLC to get something like this taken care of... It would probably save this company's reputation if you fix what needs to be fixed with ARK... I guarantee you will not regret it if you do and the community would love you for it if you gave the game a real "Tender Loving Care" Overhaul... Nothing has to be changed except it actually running correctly... Then Fixing what ever may go wrong with Genesis II and the TLC should be a lot less work and would open up a lot more time for you to focus on whatever your next endeavors are without trying to continually chip away at the bugs and issues overtime while also trying to work on future projects... It makes complete sense if you actually think long-term and I hope you guys really make the right choice. Thank you for your time. PS- Please don't just think of this in terms of money either, which most find it impossible not to do... Even though this would make you much more money in the long run... Think of this in terms of where you started and where you are now... and above all, the community that got you there... And if you do want to think of this in money... We have really gave you enough to simply get our games fixed...
  2. 3 New Taming Items First is the Cover Scent Craftable Recipe like Bug Repellent which makes you harder to detect for a set time from most all dinos. It is usually urine I believe but you could probably come up with some creative recipe for it. Second Is the Bait Box There would be 6 levels for each different kibble (Simple, Basic, etc.) for Carnivore and Herbivore making 12 different Bait Boxes all together. Each would work for the dinos to that corresponding kibble with the excepting of adding either Meat for Carnivores or Veggies for Herbivores. It should have the same radius as a Trough and lure the dinos for that specific kibble and diet to it. Finally is the Trip-Wire Gate I would suggest these having a wood, stone and metal version... These would work like any other Trap but would be an entire Dinosaur Gate (Not Behemoth). The gate would be raised and the Wire set then any wild, or enemy dinos, depending on the setting, that trip the Wire shut the Gate behind them. Making for much better taming pens. These items paired together could change the game and really add more of a hunting element to taming... A Bait Box in a taming pen with a Trip-Wire Gate and some Cover Scent on to hide you from the tame and hungry predators would really add a whole new way of taming. The ability to use a Bait Box would really help solo taming and just be fun to try and lure your tame where you want them. Plus the Trip-Wire Gate is way over due and a Cover Scent would be so useful even with a cool down between them... Would really consider adding these 3 (technically 16) items.
  3. Unique Center Map Dino Since every Free Mod Map added has had a unique dino... I thought I would throw an idea out there for the Center Map to give a reason to go playthrough it again and also to bring it up to date with the other 3 Mod Maps... Since the Center is mostly a water map... I thought why not a water dino? and I'm guessing my choice has been brought up a few other times to be an addition to the game because it is such an awesome creature... The Archelon Giant Sea Turtle... This (I Imagine) majestic and beautiful animal would be more than enough reason to go back to the Center Map... It could gather Jellyfish Toxin and be immune to Jellyfish stings (as I suggested for the Carbonemys also if the Archelon never made it into the game) and Electric Eels (which I withheld from the Carbonemys for this reason) It could be a passive tame like the Basil/Whale and would be tamed by Jellyfish Toxin but when tamed would eat fish specifically. Also filling it's food meter a little bit when it eats jellyfish (being one of the main things sea turtles eat in the wild) This dino would have to act a little different though... Rather than just hovering around in one area like most dinos in ARK... The sea turtle would have to constantly be moving... Hunting for it's favorite food. Jellyfish. I suggest having a group of only 3 at a time (or maybe a couple groups on servers) circling around the map through the ocean... Making them much harder to passively tame having to keep up with their movements. I think riding it underwater like a Megalodon superman-style would be the right look but when riding it on the surface we should be able to Surf on it! Kind of like the Manta, except standing sideways and without the jump, but with way more in depth handling... Turning would have to almost drift, kind of like the Equus turning when running fast... An animation to where it looks like it's carving up the waves with little splashes would be a nice touch also... I think it wouldn't even need a saddle... Just standing up sideways as you surf on the surface and diving down onto the top of it's shell, holding onto the top of the shell behind it's head as you ride underwater. Superman-style like I said... This would make this turtle so amazing! Unlike the other turtles this one would have to be fast, comparable to an Ichthyosaur maybe even a Plesiosaur... but it would have to have a higher defense for it's shell and making up for the lack of saddle... It wouldn't have a very high attack but there wouldn't be any better way to travel! I almost guarantee this would become one of the most popular water dinos ever! and you can quote me... lol People would probably want it on more maps than just the Center I'd bet... Definitely making them go back to it to tame one... but it's just a thought... Thank you for your time.
  4. Add a Tribe-Wars Boss Arena I had an idea for a kind of boss battle with no boss actually needed... Just an arena... I know there was something similar in the past but this would be a little different... My thoughts are having an alternate boss match-type available at the obelisks... PVP would still be into this but it pretty much gives PVE players the ability for a PVP match also, all within the core game of ARK but much more controlled... Like a boss battle... but Tribe on Tribe... but more like the best, or up to the 5 best fighters from two different tribes going head to head as if the opposing tribe would be like the Boss in the match... You could have Gamma - Which would be up to 5 VS 5 with NO Dinos or TEK Gear. Beta - Could be up to 5 VS 5 allowing ONE dino per survivor with no Flyers or TEK Gear... Alpha - Could be up to 5 VS 5 allowing up to THREE Dinos per survivor and would also allow Flyers and TEK Gear... The Arena would have to be wide, open with slight cover scattered around, and a TALL ceiling or even an "open sky" that expands to be larger than the arena itself. Ruins would be amazing for this kind of Arena... I think an option like this would give Tribes A LOT more to work towards and prepare for besides regular boss battles, plus it would add a very diverse line up for Battles besides just a pack of Rexs... Making other Dinos actually worth breeding and raising up more often... I think something like this that keeps the war in a controlled space rather than destroying bases across the map would give PVE servers the ability to have competition between tribes that doesn't put their builds and all their tames at risk... Water Dinos would sadly be excluded unless their could be an option to flood the same arena to have a marine-specific battle. but either way I think this would give the game a WHOLE lot of longevity passed what it is right now... And that is saying a lot because this game already has proven to have longevity. Something like this would bring players back in hordes to test each other in a match like this... And honestly there should always be the option to go 1 VS 1 or 2 on 2 all the way up to 5 VS 5, or maybe more, to fit different team types and those would honestly call for whole new strategies and game play making this game-mode way more diverse... I really think it is a simple win - win to implement this in... Your just providing the arena and the option in the obelisks to transfer your team and dinos to it... I really thought this would be an amazing idea and would really spark the community interest again... I would really consider it... but it's just a thought... Thank you for your time.
  5. Dummies on Saddles My suggestion is to be able to put the training dummies on the backs of saddles like a torch to have a moving target... Maybe even add rider dummies with a durability you can shoot off when they break... But really the dummies like torches on a saddle would work just fine... I would just like to be able to build better training grounds is all and thought that would be an easy add to do it. PS - please fix dummies to read damage even when structure damage and friendly fire is turned off. An easier damage reading to understand for bullets, dinos, etc. would be nice also...
  6. Dino AI Update I always thought about ways the game could be more engaging... The game has came along way since early access but there are still things I thought I would see that I never did... Still a great game though, but... I have some Ideas I hope are not to crazy to implement but could really make the game more immersive... First would be some Dino reactions to certain actions... Say you are watching your friends back as they are watching over a dino they are taming... A wild dino rushes toward them and you take your first shot... (This is Only for Bullets, not arrows of tranq darts) My thought is that depending on the level, we will use max difficulty as the example, the wild dino will react by either taking the first bullet and turning to run away from you guys if it is under level 50, maybe returning a little later like it had a raised torpor, Between level 51-100, the wild dino might circle you guys, taking a few more bullets as it circles before it (30% of the time) runs away like the one under level 50, or (70% of the time) it will rush in to attack. Between 101-150 the wild dino will just rush in through the bullets like normal, really making the levels affect personality will make interactions in the wild seem more diverse, while also making higher level dinos really seem more bold and aggressive. Also giving more opportunities to save tames from losing effectiveness. Second I would like to touch on another person's idea that caught my eye recently. I don't take the time to read enough of the other survivor's posts on here as I should but I can't help but to read ones that the title matches a bug I'm dealing with in game or seems like an idea I have posted and want to see their new perspective on it... Someone spoke about herding and I thought it was a pretty awesome idea. I don't remember exactly the details but I will give my own ideas that I was inspired with from theirs... It was along the lines of the herding dinos, or "thought to be herding dinos" like Trikes, Stegos, Brontos, etc. plus things like Equus and other herding animals could move in units around their biome in the map... I thought it would be pretty difficult to implement without things bugging out but they spoke about low level survivors being able to move with the herds for protection early game and I thought that was brilliant. I get it would make taming a hassle and that's probably why they weren't designed that way to begin with, but say it could work and dinos could move like this... just allow for members of the herd to venture off alone giving the opportunity, to tame it. Or have dinos like Raptors and Dire Wolves be able to break up herds when they rush through them. Not making them Aggro but kind of spooking them to run around crazy for a minute and it would take a while for them to regroup... Allowing you to do that on tamed Raptors, Dire Wolves, and other similar dinos would let you create that situation to tame some... I would suggest big carnivores (Carno and Larger) they would stay grouped up until attacked, maybe in a more defensive formation... Plus it would give low level survivors the option to travel with the herds for protection early game through different biomes like that survivor suggested. Adding a lot to the experience of traversing the map... Third I think dinos should interact with certain things if the animations for it weren't to hard to make... Bears sharpining their claws on trees, Deer rubbing antlers on trees and headbutting each other. Plus Pachycephalosaurus should also do headbutt displays. Carnivores that travel together like Raptors and Rexs when they are in pairs could nip at each other when they get to close. And carnivores of different species could have a low percentage of eating smaller carnivores for realism. Also dinos could "act" like they are drinking water once in awhile like the Morellatops does to fill it's tank. Little things like this might be hard to implement into a game like ARK so I understand why it hasn't been a priority, but with the end of DLCs and what not coming soon it would be a great thing to try and make work for the end product game with no more updates coming to it... Would really make it stand the test of time in my opinion... As long as all the bugs were worked out of the core game first of course... Anyways it's just a thought. Thank you for your time. PS - I have a million more AI Ideas but didn't want to make this too long. Any other survivors with good Dino AI ideas throw them in the comments. I know there have to be a lot of great ideas in the community around this topic besides the obvious "better pathfinding" lol. Which of course should be at the top of this list but I figured that was to obvious to waste the space on. Pathfinding should definitely be a top priority along with optimization for all the maps, across all consoles, PC, servers and single player.
  7. Hi LoadedCrysis here, Who remembers the days of early access? When we would get New Dinosaurs on the PC and Console every single month? Well I have thought of a really awesome idea that would defiantly be one step to growing Ark even more and bringing fresh content constantly to the game. So I believe there is already a lot of Dinosaurs in Ark survival evolved, which is great, but i think there are a lot of dinos that are not used that much anymore or are just a bit boring, especially if your someone like me who has played the game for over 3 years. It would be fantastic to see some new Dinos, but If its not possible just to keep adding new dinos on top of the old ones (maybe due to memory issues or something) then why not vault some of the less popular ones and bring in fresh new dinosaurs to take there place, similar to how fortnite vaults old guns and bring in new ones. I just feel like the game needs something new every month or so and something that gets us survivors excited because change can always great. On top of this us survivors can always look forward to other bigger projects you guys work on, such as new maps, DLC's or new fun game modes but enjoy the smaller changes in the meantime. If New Dinos couldn't work, then maybe a TLC until all the Dinosaurs are fully up to date? Let me know what you guys think, Thanks for the chance to let us share our suggestions, LoadedCrysis
  8. Creature Suggestion: Cow. Can we get an actual cow? Maybe the size of a eques. Spots and all. Rideable, breedable, and when you kill it you get more raw meat and hide just like when people kill sheep to harvest with a chainsaw. I'd really love to see a cow. Male would be bull, female petite. ALSO TLC for the Araneo. This should be breedable and now with how bloodstalkers are breedable, it should be possible to make an araneo breedable/lay eggs in place. This creature should not be left behind. It would be more valuable in cave runs if actually able to breed them.

  10. First time posting something like this. These are just ideas that I think would be cool and help bring players back or welcome then into the game. Creatures...erhm, creature. In all honesty, there is only one new animal I'd want in the game simply because where I grew up I grew a soft spot for them. COWS! More specifically, Aurochs! These are the following traits of the Auroch: • Powerwise and speedwise, its essential a slightly worse wooly rhino. • There is gender differences. There are bulls and cows. There are also calves! • Aurochs drop the following new resources: Cowhide, raw beef (an alternative to mutton), and horns (bulls). • Cowhide is a different version of hide and is a substitute in crafting. Can be crafted into a floor rug (Direbears, wolves, Sabertooths, Tylcao, are also options for rugs). • Horns are for crafting Warhorns (along with Woolly rhino horns). On a trophy wall, they serve as decorative pieces. • Cows can be milked with a glass jar or canteen. Calves yield raw Raw Veil (a MUCH better mutton alternative but only available if you slaughter, not kill the calf. Cannot be harvested from wild calves.) • Auroch Milk can be harvested from tamed Auroch cows with a glass jar or canteen. Drinking it can fill food and water slowly (actual food and water is better). Its best purpose is to use for imprinting newborns (mammals and wyverns only). Wyvern milk is better but Auroch Milk is more abundant. Like real milk, it spoils quickly. Items: • Warhorn - Crafted with key material being Auroch bull horns or Wooly Rhino horns. Blowing this horn makes your tamed animals Aggressive and come to your aid from much further away. Basically it's a better "Whistle To Attack" with better range. • Chainsaw should no longer be locked to scorched earth dlc. Seriously it made no sense to lock a useful item that can be made with materials found on ALL MAPS. • Jackhammer - This is the chainsaw to the pickaxes. Roughly same materials as chainsaw, gasoline as fuel. Harvests crystal, obsidian and stone, flint, metal ore better. Downside is it's super heavy and uses gasoline for fuel/ammo. So ankylos still useful for metal runs. • Sand is an item on all maps. Serisouly. There are beaches on the Island. Just, goddamn Wildcard. • Taxidermy should be an any map item. But there should also be the ability to assemble skeletons of dinosaurs like museums. • Sand put into a refining forge or industrial forge makes Glass. Glass is an alternative to Crystal. 2 Glass equals 1 Crystal. It takes 10 Sand to make 1 Glass. Have fun picking stones on the beach. • Saddles. There are multiple classes. There are saddles for traveling, hauling more stuff and for combat. No every rideable creature will have a saddle for every class. Parasaurs for example have the default saddle, a hauling saddle but NO combat saddle. Saddles can be upgrade to carry more people depending on the creature. Let's be honest a raptoring Bronto should allow a more than one person at a time to hop versus a Diplo that is MUCH smaller but holds 10 people. • Wardrums act as a worse alternative to a Yuty. They're fairly early level to make so makes sense they do something...actually useful. • Knives. They can be made of bones, stone, metal. They function like in PPlus. • Dead animals (except invertebrates) drop bones. Axe collects more bones. Bones can be used to make knives, arrows, armor, jewelry or decorative. Bones plus " Alpha drops" and animal parts can be used to make decorated posable mounted skeletons of dinos. • "Iconic" dinosaurs can drop body parts. Like Trike horns, mammoth tusks, Rex teeth etc. Cool idea is that sabertooth or rex teeth and therizo claws can be used knives but break easier. • Dino claws and dino teeth can be made into jewelry. Lorewise is has been spoken that people wear trex teeth. Plus who doesn't want a Megalodon tooth necklace? • Grinders can grind certain items into materials. For example Wooly rhino horns can be grinded for decent amount of Keratin. Different leveled items yield their requirement for construction not what primitive items require (I have ascendant metal pickaxes I dont need 500 ramshackle picks so I should get at least 500 ramshackles worth) Environments • Bushes have different colored berries and yield only that type of berry and or its seeds. • Eating a massive amount of a berry type will eventually yield a bounty of seeds. • Long crop plots that can host 3 different types of crops. Plant Species should still require individual plots. Long plots are for veggies and berries. • Ichyosaurs can jump out the water and not instantly die. (A manta ray, a fish, can do this and take damage makes sense. A airbreathing mammal DOESN'T.) • A bit harder to do but I'd love to see custom animations for dinosaurs. I would love to a megalodon jump out to grab something like a real great white shark. Or even better: watch a Trex grab a galli via Jurassic Park. Shaking head and everything. Others: • Explorer notes are voice acted. • Ruins of fairly recent settlements in popular spots on the maps. They can yield valuable loot and materials and blueprints. • Blueprints can level up what you craft. For example you found a blue print to craft an Ramshackle level metal hatchet. You already know to make a Primitive version. You click on an icon that says "Learn Craft Level". Say yes and bam, you can now craft Ramshackled leveled axes. You can only learn more advanced levels if you have learned the required lower level. • MORE ACHIVEMENTS. TO BE PRECISE, DLC ACHIEVEMENTS. I WANT MOAR GOALS! Well, that's all I have today. What do you guys think? I know PVP has balancing issues but I hope someone agrees with some things.
  11. Add more dinos into ARK I personally believe that ARK is a wonderfull game of endless possibilities and a bright future if Wildcard keeps going as they have done since release. All DLC's are great ( with SE as an exception ) and the graphics are amazing, BUT... I do not like how the Genesis DLC is looking so far, from what I've seen it's more about mythical creatures and fantasy than actuall history accurate dinosaurs. I really like ARK and want it to stay the way it is with slight changes such as bug fixes and updates. I don't know if Genesis it the ending for ARK and that ARK 2 is going to contain more of the Dinosaur content as a whole but I don't want ark to change into Monster Hunter. Anyways awesome game Wildcard, keep it up.

Downloading Xbox Account, Ark Data & Bugs I had to redownload my Xbox live account to get past Arks loading screen awhile back because of a bug in the game that I hope has since then been fixed. My question, or suggestion or however you would take this stems from when I redownloaded my Xbox Live account on my Xbox One and opened ARK, my character was there too use, but my base, all my Dinos I had tamed and bred, including boss rexes that took to say the least AWHILE to breed were all gone. What I would like to ask... is if one of your customers, like me for example, spent money on an Xbox One X to upgrade from just an Xbox One, would we lose ALL of those days, weeks, months, even years in some cases of progress of building and taming when we download our Xbox Live Account on our new system and start playing? If so I was really hoping and praying this is something you can change. When we download our accounts on to a new system we shouldn't just get our character we should get our GAME that we have saved on our accounts. Bases, Tames, etc. All right where we left them. That is where the real time in this game goes, and if you lose it that easily it is really hard to want to keep playing. My suggestion is you guys should really work on backing up the data surrounding a character/account including builds, tames, and all the map data in general. If there is some reason this can't be done then I would really like to hear it because that definitely should of been something to consider when you designed the scope of this game and the time it takes to play it. For PC and Consoles we should be able to back-up our map data or an entire save file to retrieve later if some bug wipes our games out. This has happened to me 3 times on single player. I have recently started again on single player and it seems to be working right for the most part for the first time ever, but I was still really considering quitting playing because progress in this game is VERY time consuming and we shouldn't have to lose all that just because you guys update the game and then bugs run wild. Please figure out away to just get our whole save file backed-up, or it at least gives us our whole save file, map data, tames, builds and all when we download our Xbox/PlayStation Accounts on a new system. It is only fair, because I dont know if I could continue to ever play this game again if I lose all my progress, builds and tames for a 4th time... Please look into this... Thank you for your time.
  13. Which Dino is Your Favorite in Ark So guys, there is so many dinosaurs in Ark and my personal favorite is the Tapejara just for the reason that they look cool, are building gods, can fly in any direction, and are flyers. So what is your favorite animal?

Okay Guys so these are my favorite animals to tame in Ark based on UTILITY Hey guys, Since I dont have anything to do right now i just thought it would be a cool idea to share the top 10 animals that I PERSONALLY THINK are the best when it comes to utility. And yes they're in order. These animals are based from the map Ragnarok. So here you go..... 1. Argentavis - This bird is amazing when it comes to transportation of materials because they have extremely good weight and have good stamina so you can fly for a good period of time before stopping. They are also pretty good when it comes to defending itself because it can do pretty decent melee. They can also carry a great variety amount of animals making them good for taming and transporting animals. The only drawback with these majestic bird is that they are slow so I wouldn't suggest this guy when it comes to scouting or escaping if your base is getting raided. 2. Ankylosaurus - We all know, or at least should, that metal is a really important resource in Ark. And the best way to harvest it is the Ankylosaurus. They specifically gather tons of metal per hit and now the only thing you have to do is transport and smelt it. And they are decent at gathering berries too. Their drawback would be that they get encumbered rather quickly and are painfully slow. So you'll most likely want to have a spare argy or quetzal so you can move it around and back to base when you're done harvesting. 3. Doedicurus - Besides the Rock Elemental, this guy is a stone harvesting god. And im putting this guy before the Rock Elemental for the reason that you get the saddle at a low level (level 34) and they have pretty decent weight. That is really good especially when youre an early to mid player and really need resources for your stone base. They also have a really fun roll thing that makes him go faster but does drain stamina. 4. Mammoth/Beaver - The kings at wood gathering. I tied this 2 because of the reason that they both are amazing at gathering wood but their only difference is size. If you don't have much space or like to keep a low profile on a PvP world than the beaver is the duder for you. But if you have a large space and don't mind spending a really long time taming something just for wood than the mammoth fits you. The thing with the beaver is that they take quite a few narcotics to tame so if you come unprepared than don't expect a beaver on your team. Also mammoths have far way more weight but are slower. 5. Rock Elemental - This guy is especially good in pvp for high level tribes because they are extremely good soakers against turrets and they easily demolish stone! Theyre basically war mounts and thats all id really use them for. But they are pretty good at it. They are also pretty good at harvesting stone and a few other stuff and extremely good weight and obviously a lot of health. They are pretty vulnerable to fall damage though so i wouldn't suggest running of cliffs or anything like that. 6. Pteranodon - This early game mount is included in the list just because of the fact that they are really fast and have a barrel attack that deals tons of damage and makes them go even faster. You can use this guy to fly across the map in a short amount of time and are pretty good to use as scouting mounts because of their speed and stealth. And because of the fact that they're so easy to tame and they're saddle isn't hard to make people use them to gather wyvern eggs. They're only drawback is that they're weight kinda sucks so you'll have to level that up quite a bit. 7. Quetzal - This guy are hard and can be a pain in the ass when it comes to taming them if you don't have the right flying mounts (griffin, tapejara with someone on passenger seat) or are a solo player. But if you finally get it then you'll see that your hard work payed off. They got extremely good weight, health, and pretty decent stamina. They are also capable of grabbing large animals such as mammoths making this guy one of the best at transporting animals. You can also get a platform saddle for him and make a mobile base or a war base with a bunch of turrets. The drawback with this guys is that they are painfully slow and don't really have high melee. 8. Mantis - I put this guys all the way to number 7 because of the way u need to tame, which is passive. And when taming I think they'll only take kibble and deathworm horns. And since praying mantis are so vicious youll either need to trap it or wear bug repellent and a ghillie suit. But when you get it it can be super useful because of the reason that you can equip weapons on its hands (pincers? Arms?) and gather anything. If you want wood just equip it with a hatchet. If you want flint or metal just equip it with a pickaxe. 9. Tyrannosaurus Rex - Theres no other better dinosaur than the T-rex when it comes to battling in boss fights. They also got pretty high melee damage and you can easily defend your base against other players and their tames if you have a high level pack of these guys. They are also pretty good at harvesting meat. 10. Therizinosaur - Some of you guys might get mad that i put this guy all the way to tenth place. But personally, it think he belongs here for the reason that he is incredibly time consuming to tame and that he's weight SUCKS. They are awesome wood, berry gatherers but they get encumbered so quickly and its annoying. The fact that they can break through stone makes them great at raiding though. And i guess you could take it to boss fights although i don't find that very convenient as there's the T-rex which is easier to tame and has more melee. So there you have it guys. Please don't hate on me, like i said this is my PERSONAL list. I'll be happy to see what your order is though and wether you approve of mine or wether you would tweak some things. But yeah, have a wonderful day and have fun playing Ark! =D
  15. So I have been thinking on this topic for a while while I even played on official PvP. Anyways to the topic I have been wanting to have breedable scorpions in the game as I love the little guys and would love to see babies of them. I not only have that as a thought but have thought of maybe splitting the attacks of the scorpion as the first is the claws for damage and the second is the stinger which would do some damage but mainly torpor. As a related issue maybe add in breeding for the other insects of the game such as the mantis.
