🦂Pandinus megaungues🦂,🥇The omega Extinction scorpion🥇
cart400 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
On the Extinction map, I present to you the Pandinus megaunges, a formidable and unique creature that reigns in the vast desert of the Compound Element. This scorpion belonging to the genus Pandinus is a real threat, known for its striking and dangerous characteristics. Description of the Pandinus megaungues: The Pandinus megaungues is a colossal creature that stands out amidst the arid desert of the Compound Element. Its massive body is covered in a rigid exoskeleton that ranges from glossy black to vibrant purple, providing it with perfect camouflage in dune shadows and starry desert nights. The characteristics of this scorpion are its claw-shaped chelicerae, prominent and sharp as blades. These claws are used to grab their prey, and in the game world, they offer a unique mechanic. Each attack with this scorpion's metasoma carries the dreaded Pandinus Toxin. A deadly poison that does not stack, but is lethal to players who stack it. Furthermore, when used against enemy creatures, it can temporarily slow them down, making Pandinus megaunges even more formidable in combat in addition to its size which is comparable to that of a Rex. Attack forms: 1. Mighty Claw Attack: Pandinus megaunges uses its powerful claw-like chelicerae to deliver a devastating attack. When it successfully hits a target, it deals significant damage on impact, but instead of applying poison, the claws can apply a temporary immobilization effect. The target hit by this attack can be temporarily paralyzed, making them vulnerable to subsequent attacks or allowing Pandinus megaunges to escape dangerous situations. 2. Toxic Metasoma Attack: Pandinus megaungues raises its metasoma, the final part of its body, and delivers a precise blow towards its target. Not only does this attack deal significant damage upon initial impact, but it also injects a concentrated dose of Pandinus Toxin into the opponent. The toxin begins to eat away at the target's health and lowers their resistance, making them more vulnerable to other attacks and environmental hazards. 3. Bleeding Acid Bullet: In this special attack, Pandinus megaunges expels a projectile of corrosive acid towards its target. On hit, this projectile not only inflicts initial damage, but also starts a "bleed" on the target. This "bleed" effect deals 0.60 damage per second over a 10 second period. Bleeding damage can stack if Pandinus megaunges manages to land multiple acid projectiles on its target. In addition, the "bleeding" can be renewed with each new impact of the acid projectile, prolonging the opponent's suffering. 💥Skills and abilitys💥: 1. Natural Armor: Pandinus megaungues has a resistant natural armor that gives it a remarkable defense capacity. He can activate this ability to further reduce the damage he takes temporarily. This makes it a valuable option as a living shield in battle and also for protecting allies in its proximity. 2. Sense of Alert: This ability allows Pandinus megaunges to detect the presence of enemies or threats in its surrounding area. He can alert his nearby allies to the presence of potential dangers, making him an effective guardian during war and a vigilant protector in everyday situations, this ability developed over time thanks to Extinction's dangerous environment. 3. Healing Toxin: Contrary to its poisonous nature, Pandinus megaunges has the ability to use its toxin to heal itself. He can apply the toxin to himself to accelerate health regeneration 2 times faster. This skill would have a duration of 30 seconds and a cooldown of 5 minutes. 4. Bury Underground: Pandinus megaunges can bury itself underground using its powerful claws. This came because he is a nocturnal hunter, but unlike Megalosaurus he is not exclusive to the night and therefore burrows to grab small prey by surprise and devour them in one go. 5.Grab and take: This ability allows Pandinus megaunges to carry creatures comparable in size to a triceratops in a claw without preventing it from attacking. ❗Taming method❗: 1.Finding a Pandinus Mother: The first step in taming the Pandinus megaunges is to locate an adult female. This requires exploration in the Compound Element wasteland where these giant scorpions dwell. Once found, the female must be killed carefully, taking into account the critical time to catch the pups. 2. Catching the Cub: After eliminating the mother, you will have a short period of 25 seconds to catch 1-2 cubs, out of the 50-80 that cling to her back. These pups are the ones you intend to tame and raise. 3.Puppet Care: Once you have the pup(s) in your possession, it is essential to create a safe environment for them. As puppies have fragile exoskeletons, you must provide a protected breeding environment away from threats and extreme temperatures. This may include building a fenced space and maintaining ideal temperature and humidity conditions. 4.Complete Domestication: As the puppy(s) grow and go through various stages of development, they will become more independent and less vulnerable. After a period of care and growth, the Pandinus megaungue(s) will be tamed, becoming loyal allies in your adventures in the game. (Im inspired by the yellow scorpions)- 2 replies

Many ideas were had when considering Brontoscorpio and in order not to eliminate possibilities, some of the ideas that were had will be put in the form of a "suggestion". Since we are Xbox players we write the actions of Brontoscorpio in terms of the xbox controller Dossier: Common name: Brontoscorpio Species: Brontoscorpio Anglicus Period: Silurian Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild. Our search for Brontoscorpio was a total failure. Straight out of a movie about giant insects, a Brontoscorpio ambushed us on the shores of a lake, it was so big that not even a Rex could step on it. Although we were prepared with a large mount, it was useless against this huge scorpion, with its large pincers it kept it at bay and not to mention the huge sting at the tip of its tail. Although we made it out alive, it cost us the life of a powerful mount and it is not for less, it delivered fatal blows with those pincers but what ended the life of our mount was the poison from its sting. Despite everything we shot at it, only the poisonous grenades seemed to have an effect on Brontoscorpio. Domesticated. If you are lucky enough to tame a Brontoscorpio, you will have in your possession one of the all-purpose creatures you can find. Some tribes use Brontoscorpio for the attack or defense of bases, but where they use it the most is in the manufacture of objects and transport of things. I didn't believe it until I saw it in person, how one of these scorpions was able to bend a metal plate with ease or convert ingots to small plates using its pincers. Some even use it to transport merchandise, equipping Brontoscorpio with a small platform, transporting shops as if it were a mobile market. I even got to see a small food store on his back. Map location: Mainly in the sulfur fields where it will roam hunting its next prey, less frequently Brontoscorpio can be seen stalking its prey in the mud basins and in the rivers of the sunken forest. Combat skills: 1- Main attack (Rt and Lt): Brontoscorpio will be able to use its large pincers to hit its prey, leaving the smaller ones disoriented. 2- Grasp (keeping Rt and Lt pressed): he can hold or imprison his victims with his pincers and once held (using the main attack), Brontoscorpio will close his pincers until he ends the life of his victim (the damage increases per second or nullifies the effect of armor). 3- Secondary attack (Rs): Brontoscorpio can use his needle to inject a poison, which will reduce 5% of the dino's total life for 5 or 10 seconds. 4- Critical Hit (Rt+Lt+Rs): Brontoscorpio can perform an animation where it holds its victims with both pincers and injects a large amount of poison, this hit can be an instant death for small prey and it will be a powerful hit for small prey. bigger. (You will have a considerable cooldown, where you will not be able to use the second attack and the critical strike). The following button combinations are suggested: 1- Rt+Rs: a combo attack is executed (right pincer + left pincer + stinger), it will have a 3% increase in damage + poison effect. (Duration 5 seconds). 2- Lt+Rs: a tail movement is executed, where Brontoscorpio will turn on its axis and hit its opponents with its tail (Similar to Reaper or Carcha). Passive Skills: 1- Mobile Blacksmith and Manufacturer: Brontoscorpio without a frame can be used as a blacksmith, where it will use its large and powerful pincers to manipulate the hardest materials and with a frame it can be used as a manufacturer, where it will use the smaller pincers to carry out more delicate work . 2- Weight reduction: would have a 50% weight reduction. 3- Base Mode (Brontoscorpio's radial menu will activate the base mode): Brontoscorpio will extend its limbs and let all its weight be supported by the surface where the base mode is activated (it will remain motionless). While in base mode, Brontoscorpio will ignore the weight limit and you can fill it with all the resources you need to craft items (Similar to Exomek). 4- Camouflage: while the base mode is active, Brontoscorpio cannot be detected by Parasaur. Due to extreme exposure to the elements, Brontoscorpio has a natural camouflage against corrupted dinos (they won't be able to detect it unless you attack them). 5- Damage Reduction: By having an exoskeleton, Brontoscorpio has a natural armor (50% damage reduction). Suggestion: Brontoscopius will have a weak point (Thorax) where more damage can be dealt. 6- All Terrain: Brontoscorpio, being a type of marine scorpion whose breathing is through gas exchange, can be used in the depths of the ocean and climb some surfaces with a certain inclination (less than 65 degrees). Suggestion: Underwater Brontoscorpio will have the option to climb (Similar to Rock Drake). 7- Pick up structures (LB+) : Brontoscorpio will be able to pick up structures and store them in his inventory (Similar to Exomek). You will not be able to pick up tek structures. Size: Thanks to the abundant energy produced by the element and the constant encounter with large predators, Brontoscorpio increased its size to be able to rival its competitors. It would be the length of a rex, from sting to head, and 4 or 5 foundations thick. Suggestion: 1- Brontoscorpio could be similar in size to Megachelon 2- Brontoscorpio could be similar in size to Brontosaurus or Paracer. The mount could be learned at level 70 and the platform at level 85. Suggestion: Brontoscorpio's platform can be a new tek item, which can provide power to structures built on the platform (Item will need to be managed). His engram can be acquired after defeating the titan of the forest or the desert. Note: The platform does not have the maker ability. Taming method: Since Brontoscorpio's exoskeleton is tough enough to nullify the effect of tranquilizer arrows and darts (also Shock's). To tame a Brontoscorpio you will have to throw poison grenades or use narcotic traps to put a Brontoscorpio to sleep, and then feed it its favorite food. Farming: Thanks to Brontoscorpio's large and strong pincers, it is capable of collecting various types of minerals. Main Idea: One of the main ideas is that Brontoscorpio is a creature with which you can navigate the Extinction map very comfortably and you can use it in different situations.

Introducing Brontoscorpio, the Elemental Radiation King!
ThaVillain posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Introducing Brontoscorpio, the Elemental Radiation King! - Wild Well, this is surely a sight to behold! It seems like the elemental rivers have been able to turn this prehistoric scorpion into a mutated version of its former self. It commonly hangs out around the brightly colored magenta liquid but ventures out of the water to defend its territory from any of the other respective predators in the area. After watching the past couple of fights this species has been in, I can confidently say they can hold their ground incredibly well. From their giant claws crushing medium sized carnivores, attackers getting a taste of the elemental rivers when they bite one, to a deafening roar that sends a pheromone into the air that buffs nearby allies, and more, it's surely a creature to be weary of when you come across it. - Taming Method Wow! The Brontoscorpio really has a temper! I've seen survivors getting too close to them and having their tames grabbed by it and having venom get injected into it from its huge stinger. Oddly enough, after releasing its venom it scampers off and lays down for a little while. A couple of survivors have been able to get close to it while it's resting and feed it freshly caught lampreys in fish baskets, being able to gain its trust. - Domesticated Survivors I've talked to who have been successful in taming this gigantic scorpion have been able to craft a saddle for it that keeps them protected from any radiation they receive. While some use the Brontoscorpio's claws as a way to transport tames for harvesting resources, others have been able to use the creature itself as a way to harvest resources, mainly black pearls, but some have even being able to dissolve elemental ore into element dust! While it's familiar in a water environment, it's extremely versatile, being able to climb vertically escaping any threat that might cause it any harm, and if that doesn't do the trick, then it can burrow underground, stationary, for a temporary amount of time. Attackers should be cautious though, foes that get a taste of the Brontoscorpio also get a taste of the radiation that it lived in, while the effect lasts for a couple seconds it's better to gauge your distance. In one battle I witnessed I saw a tamed Brontoscorpio commanding a pack of Pulmonoscorpius, giving them a buff very similar to now a pack of Megalodons work together. Shortly thereafter it bellowed a roar and released a pheromone into the air that allowed other allies to possess the same venom as itself While it's certainly a team player, it can deliver damaging blows with its claws, but its venom it injects is putrid, slowing down prey, draining the foes stamina and ultimately removing 5% of the opponent's health over a period of time. As well it is resistant to being tail-whipped by a Reaper. While it's easy to maintain their diet with spoiled meat, be careful when raising your very own Brontoscorpio though. Just like a Reaper King that attacks at younger stages in its life, the Brontoscorpio follows suit and does the same, but male and female Brontoscorpio's can mate together once they've reached adulthood. - Attacks Left click; Left claw hit Right click; Right claw hit Left click (hold); Left claw grab Right click (hold); Right claw grab C; Stinger attack C (hold); Stinger continuous attack X; Roar Z; Burial Original Creature from history -
From the album: Dossiers
Common Name: Scorpion Species: Pulmonoscorpius gigantus Time: Late Silurian Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: I'm not sure why, but the giant scorpions I've seen on the island are far more disturbing than most of the Dinosaurs. Rather than simply kill its prey, Pulmonoscorpius gigantus injects its victims with a tranquilizing poison, then eats its unconscious prey alive. This subspecies has a large pair of pincers that seem connected to the same toxin sacs as the tail. I've never seen another scorpion that has this adaptation, but I've never seen another scorpion that is larger than I am, either. Domesticated: Trying to tame a monster like Pulmonoscorpius gigantus sounds like a crazy idea, but I suppose the ability to knock out a foe could come in handy. It could certainly make incapacitating some of the island's other creatures much easier.-
