Arizonasaurus Atrox - The Wasteland Living Generator!
MutanteJr posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
-- Arizonasaurus Atrox -- -- The Wasteland Living Generator -- -- Dossier -- Common Name: Arizonasaurus Species: Arizonasaurus Atrox Time: Mid Triassic Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild "Using it´s sail to convert solar rays into electricity, Arizonasaurus Atrox truly made the wastelands they home, thanks to their electrocuting skill and necrotizing saliva, result of a element-based diet." "These creatures seems to be fearless against the corrupted, walking carefree through hordes. I belive that somehow they can mimic the corrupted using their electric charges, but this usage requires the Arizonasaurus to rest regularly." Domesticated "Some survivors say Arizonasaurus Atrox are great substitutes for eletrical generators. With the right saddle, the electricity created by this creature can be used to power an whole base." "If you brave enough to try to earn this beast´s trust, I recommend approching while it´s resting with a nice offering in hands. They´re always looking for the carcasses of the corrupted." -- In The Wilds -- The Arizonasaurus can be found in the wastelands, traveling in small groups, hunting, and resting. You definitely don´t want to face one these whitout a good mount, if this creature sees you, it will sprint to you in an instant, ready to show you it´s abilities. You better pray its just one instead of the whole pack. Note: Even living in small groups, they would not have a "pack buff". Bite Sprint: Normally it´s first action after seeing a potential prey, an attack that consists in sprinting to it´s victim ready to give a powerful bite, infecting the prey with the Arizonasaurus necrotizing saliva. Necrotizing Saliva: A temporary debuff that occurs when something is bitten by an Arizonasaurus, draining it´s health and stamina. Electrocution: It´s second action after starting a fight, an attack that stuns you (and other creatures) for some seconds, not to mention the damage. When a Arizonaurus does it it´s sail will glow in a white light. Slashing and Bitting: It´s most basic action, an fast attack that vary between slashing and bitting (everytime it´s bite you, you will be infected with the necrotizing saliva debuff). By observing these beasts in nature, you can notice they never let an corrupted carcass pass, and everytime they feed on it these creatures gain a buff (just like the Argentavis). This happens cuz the element on these carcass will serve as fuel for their "disguise", mimicing the corrupted and avoinding trouble. Note: When "disguised", it´s sail patterns will glow purple. The Arizonasaurus are normally aggressive, but during it´s "resting state" this creature will not attack you, unless if do it first or touches them. This dino rest sitting on the ground, just like modern camels, they do this when they need to recharge their electrical energy, using it´s sail as a solar plate, converting solar rays into their electricity. -- Tamed -- To tame these animals you just needs to approach while it´s resting with a corrupted carcass in hands (bigger carcass = faster taming). After givint it the carcass, you´ll have some seconds to leave after it aggros you, but as the taming pergentage goes up, the less aggressive it will become, and this would be noticeable in the animal´s body language, going from growling and showing their teeth, to a more curious and calm posture (no needing to wait till it rest again). Once tamed, the Arizonasaurus can not just camouflage you from the corrupted, but also replacing your base´s electrical generator. Camouflage Against The Corrupted: When travelling through the broken deserts of the Earth, you shall feed your Arizonasaurus with corrupted nodules, this will be the fuel for it´s "desguise", the more you feed the more brighter it´s sail will become (second by second the sail will slowy coming back to it´s regular colors) , but pay attention to it´s belly and throat, since large amounts of corrupted nodules in their stomach can lead your creature to throw it all up, losing it´s whole camouflage in seconds. Living Eletrical Generator: With it´s saddle, you can use the Arizonasaurus electricity to power up your base (probably the same range or slightly bigger than the feeding trough). The saddle would have two power boxes/repeaters on which sides, what would lead to the operation of that system. You will also need to put your Arizonasaurus on "generator mode", this will result on it to be releasing small electrical charges that will be redistributed by the power boxes/repeaters to your electronics, this mode will also let your dino on a "passive defense state", every dino that attacks your Arizonasaurus will take damage by electrocution, which can cause the attacker to faint or even dying. Cooking Pot: When you feed your Arizonasaurus with large ammounts of corrupted nodules, it´s throath and bely will grow and glow with a slightly purple light, that means your creature is about to throw up, but also means that your dino is ready to give you some recipes, you only need to activate the "generator mode". The chemical reaction of their electricity with the conflict between it´s gastrical fluid and the alien nature of the corrupted nodules will allow you to make two exclusive recipes: Arizona´s Broth and the Camouflaged Warrior. Arizona´s Broth: An slighty safe way to experience the endless hunger of the corrupted, (almost) every carnivore hunter that drink this broth will gain a temporary buff, increasing it´s damage, resistance and stamina, but on the other hand it will drain the food of your dino, causing it to need to eat more than usual (humans can also drink that broth gaining the same buff). This can also be very useful to drain the food of your knock out tames, speeding up the tame. Recipe: Empty Water jar + an ammount of prime meat + bunch of rare flowers + bunch of stimberries. Camouflaged Warrior: The Arizonasarus "disguise" only works for itselt, this means that you and your dinos are still vulnerable, but this repice can make you and some of your tames experience that by yourselves, giving you an temporary camouflage againt the corrupted. Recipe: Empty Water jar + an ammout of spoiled meat + bunch of rare mushrooms + narcotics Only humans and some creatures (mostly herbivores, early-mid game dinos and platform-saddleds animals) can gain this "buff". When tamed, your Arizonasaurus will still have the same abilities just like a wild one. Bitting and Slashing as it´s primary attack Necrotizing Saliva that can infect any creature that comes to get bitten (temporary debuff, draining health and stamina) Electrocution as it´s secondary attack, stuning and damaging it´s enemies (the exagerate usage of this attack will lead your arizonasaurus to run out of electricity and it will need to rest, so it will be able to use it´s electrical abilities again) Sprinting, it´s third and most powerful attack And a fourth movement, an slow but powerful bite (not as powerful as the sprinting one), this bite is more applied to farm the skin of dead dinos, ignoring the meat and focusing on hide, chitin, keratin, and even corrupted nodules and scrap metal if we´re talking about corrupted and TEK dinos. -- Thank You for Reading! -- More arts soon! spore cannon METOPOSAURUS GLOMEROFAUCIUM — Aberration’s Deadly F(r)og
ZCI5250 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
*tumbles and crashes through the ceiling* Hello yet again ARK community, this time I have a frog. after a funny bit of zci shenanigans, i present Metoposaurus glomerofaucium, the spore shooting salamander! Dossier: Notes Metopo can be found having any of the 3 possible spore types, identified by what colour it glows. Metopo has a 1 person saddle which shields the rider from all spore effects Metopo has a turret mode in which it buries itself into the ground and periodically shoots out spores of the last type that it had Taming To tame a wild Metopo, it is recommended that you eat the mushroom type that negates whatever shroom type the wild one has. This is because to tame it you will have to walk up to it and feed it while it is charging up a spore shot, so that in case of a blunder you dont get hit with the full force of a spore cloud. Once you feed it enough, the metoposaurus will be tamed. Its preferred foods are, in order: Superior Kibble Raw Mutton Raw Prime Meat Raw Prime FIsh Meat Raw Meat Raw Fish Meat Abilities Land: Lclick: Standard bite Rclick: Aoe spore cloud R click Hold: Brings up crosshairs, targetted spore cannon. 5 second cooldown between shots. Spacebar: Bury/Stop burying. Ctrl: Toggle spore type Water Lclick: Standard bite Rclick: Tail slap X: Toggle swim/walk Ctrl: Toggle spore type Spore Types: Hallucinogenic: Wild: Drains oxygen and stamina, messes with vision Allied: Acts as short range cloak for duration of effect Freezing: Wild: Slows creatures, eventually freezes for 5 seconds/causes severe hypothermia in players Allied: Acts as a mini heal, boosts health regen for 15 seconds Radioactive: Wild: Afflicts non-rad immune creatures with severe radiation Allied: Acts as a short term mushroom brew that lasts for 30 seconds Other art: metopos are naturally lazy and will not go after anything unless they are attacked or touched dont be fooled by their normally carefree attitude though, an agitated metopo can and will do eveerything in its power to end you (also pro tip: the colours that flash on the back patterns of a metopo are a good indicator of what spore types they have charged up, so be prepared with mushrooms when approaching one) apparently rock drakes can get high too? Supplementary links: the real creature: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metoposaurus Aaaaand that's all folks! Good luck with the competition!- 2 replies

Hello! I decided to submit Tanystropheus for Abberation since I thought we need a new transitional creature from the blue zone to the red zone. Tanystropheus would be the enemy of nameless and not only do increased damage to nameless and seekers but also harvest more nameless venom than any other creature. Not only that, but that Tanystropheus would have a saddle that allowed you to be immune to radiation and swim through the element rivers with safety. It would have the bulk and speed to run from reapers and rock drakes but only did significant damage to nameless and seekers. To tame a Tanystropheus, you would have to sneak up to it like a equus and ride it. You would be on it’s head and every time it thrashes it’s neck, you would have to feed it a tranquillizing item like a narcotic. Narcoberries give the Tany the least amount of torpor and Biotoxin gives it the most torpor. After you knock it out, you would feed it nameless venom or raw prime fish meat like a standard knockout tame. Left click is a standard bite, right click is a toggle to make it stand up, and c is a belly flop it can only do when standing on it’s hind legs. Holding left click will make it gram creatures as big as a ravenger, holding right click will make it thrash with it’s neck, and holding c will make it do a cosmetic roar. If you force feed the Tany Nameless Venom, it will activate a buff called intoxicated madness which increases it’s attack speed by 35% and it’s health regeneration by 45% for 45 seconds. It can get the hydration boost and spawns in the green, blue, and red zones by rivers and element rivers. It’s saddle can be learned at level 52 and can be made with 540 polymer, 320 metal ingots, 135 crystal, 20 red gems, 20 blue gems and 20 green gems and the saddle itself would look like a dome. It can also apply torpor to the creature it has grabbed and slowly apply torpor like a tuso. The trapped creature can only escape if you let it go and you could throw the creature away like a karkinos.

semi-aquatic mount Diatryma - The Duck Tank
Gecko1611 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
The massive goose-relative is a force to be reckoned with. Boasting high health, water buff and speed, and a simple passive taming, Diatryma is a perfect early to mid game mount. In real life, Gastornis was a titanic herbivorous bird from Europe. Think dodo and terror bird combined. It had an extremely powerful beak, perhaps for breaking food or fighting off predatory creodonts. DIATRYMA Species: Gastornis parisiensis Time: Early Eocene Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Aggresive Wild These large flightless birds rival even the Therizinosaurs is herbivore ferocity. At a glance, the diatryma cam be confused for the terror bird. However, the diatryma is not only larger and herbivorous, it also seems to show many similarities to ducks and geese. Domesticated These birds are surprisingly effective on the water, where they spend much of their time. They aren't as home in the sea as Pelagornis or Hesperornis, but they can still paddle along at great speeds. On land they are relatively slow and cumbersome. They male for nice tanks though, due to their bulky build. Diatryma beaks are extremely powerful. I've estimated that it could crack a coconut. This is actually not surprising for an herbivore, as ceratopsians possess bone-crushing bites as well. --- In the Wild - Diatryma spawn in around redwoods, coastal waters, and occasionally jungles. In the wild they aggro onto any carnivore that attacks it, and anything from Raptor tier or higher will want to eat this goose. Taming - The diatryma are passive tames, but with a twist; they hate you and want you dead. They have an aggro range slightly larger than a Theri's. When you approach, don't bother with ghillie or crouching. When aggroed onto a player, to will run (or swim) up and preform a set of screeches for about 8 seconds. Only in this time, you can quickly feed it and rereat from its aggro range. To slow, and it will truly aggro and tear you up. When it us ready to feed again it will start stamping its foot (or doing backflips if in water), so keep an eye on it from a safe distance. Process must be repeated until tamed. Riding - Diatryma require saddles to ride. It's saddle is unlocked at level 50. Food - The Diatryma is of course herbivorous. For taming it can take Superior Kibble, crops, or berries. It can harvest corpses when tamed, however. In the Water - After touching water, the Diatryma will get a 30 second Hydration Buff that operates like a Spino's, giving buffs to speed, damage, and health regen. The Diatryma is a speedy water creature, but retains an oxygen bar. Thankfully, it has very high oxygen, so in most cases you won't need to worry about taking this duck for a five. Tank - This creature has average/low speed and turn radius on land. It's high health stat for its tier of creature makes is an ideal tank for fighting enemies from Dilos to Allos; its melee stats are reasonable as well, not pathetic like some tanks. Appearance - The Diatryma is around twice the height of a survivor. It is very bulky as well, a bit like a Theri. In the wild its feathers are usually dull colors like brown, reddish brown, black, or dark grey, with little variation. Their eggs are Medium-sized and are colored blue with black specks. Ants - A hidden ability; the Diatryma deals double damage to Titanomyrma and Rhyniognatha. They are also immune to poisoning from the two.-

My Idea Bistahieversor would be a new Dino to shine some light in the mid game of your adventure. The bistahievesor was a Dino who had evolved with very good senses and this would go into its abilities. Touch After attacking a Dino it will be pinned while riding bistahievesor for the next hour(is toggle able). This ping will be similar to a taming tracker where it says the distance but instead of showing tame percent it would show the health of the Dinosaur. Taste After eating a meat it can indemnify what dinosaur meat it just ate and locate a general area where the Dino COULD be found (will not go in water). This will be togglable Scent The bistahievesor can smell the ground and determine what Dino’s have crossed the area(no location just species and level) Sight In the night time the bistahievesor can have either normal vision, thermal vision, or night vision. These could all be used to hunt in the night Hearing(Help Needed) Bistahievesor can hear Dino’s nearby and if a roar of any kind is happening it will pin the Dino and where they are while roaring (this one is up for suggestions) Saddle The saddle would be pretty basic. You would obtain it at level 46. There would be two little caches on both sides of the saddle that can hold 50 pounds each just for extra storage. Stats This would not be the next Giga or Carchar. This would be like a nimbler Allo with more stamina and faster speed in trade for lower health. Wild This Dino would be naturally neutral even though it is a carnivore. Although any type of roar will make it aggressive. It would be found in redwoods, deserts, hills, and the snowy areas. Taming This creature woild have a very unique and fun taming method. First you would feed it prime meat then bistahievesor would run and play hide and seek with you when you find it it will gain taming percent. The level would change how many times you have to play hide and seek with it. If you vote for this thanks I thought this would be a cool idea. Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bistahieversor

Common Name: American Lion Species: Panthera Atrox Time: Late Pleistocene/Early Holocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: Panthera Atrox is a Vicious hunter that lives in a Pride found sparsely in large forest and even open plains. Even though Pantera Atrox never found dinosaurs in its time on Ragnarok it has been able to get a decent foothold in the food chain here. They hunt prey such as Megaloceros Laatuscoronam and Megatherium Formipavor using its numbers and its immense strength to bring down stronger and faster foes. These powerful cats will even attack Tyrannosaurus if they get to close to their den though normally these attempts have a couple of members dying in the process Domesticated: Though they are not as fast or nimble as creatures like Thylacoleo they make up for it with their size and strength with the males being even stronger than the females while the females seem to be faster and have more stamina since they are lighter than the males. I have also witnessed that when creatures such as Microraptors and Icthyornis seem to flee due to the presence of these cats and large creatures such as Terror Birds or Raptors being scared off by a roar acting as a dominance display similar to the Yutyrannus's fear roar. These cats also seem to grapple their prey and foes down so they can suffocate them. Abilities: Left Click Attack: This is a bite attack that does moderate damage Right Click Attack: This will do a Charge Tackle that grapples a creature if it hits and will start to suffocate the target. Note this will only work with creatures below a certain drag weight C Key: A Fear Roar Passive Abilities: Pack Buff 20% weight reduction on Meat, Hide, Chitin, and Keratin Any small aggressive creature that come close to the lion will gain the fear status effect Miscellaneous: The Saddle is unlocked at level 43 Taming: So I have two ideas that could work for taming Option 1. Simple knock out tame with tranqs Option 2. You could maybe have to gain the one's trust by bringing them corpses and they wouldn't attack you during this. Also you have to do it when one is alone as if the pack is around it won't work Additional Information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_lion

The giant badger is the Strongest mammal ark has ever seen depending on the food the badger eat the powers it get I got Name - Repenomamus Period -the Mesozoic era- Carnivore Temperament - Aggressive DOSSIER - WILD Found within the highest mountains and swamp of the ARK, is a colossal Badger and bear hybrid, a mix of Dire Bear and a badger Although Repenomamus seems to be quite rare At first you might not think so, because is not much bigger than parasaur , but they are the top of the foog chain. Their small size, compared to other mammals , they make up for with a strong biting force! But they are really aggressive. Their aggressions seems to be directed only against other of they species Their aggressive nature made me wonder if they could be tamed. During my research I made some very interesting discoveries. They often are in pack of 4 were they 1 female and 3 male the male will guard the nest while the female will hunt and look for food. I caught many times that they can eat many different foods honey, metal, fish, wood, glass. Taming:to tame the Repenomamus you need to lure the female away and knock her out or kill her. Since the females aren’t tamable only if you drag others dead body’s of Repenomamus the male on the other hand can be tame by simply walking up to one a feeding it either, honey, they can then be tame since the male are passive while the female are aggressive Powers: claw attack bite attack stomp Matter armor honey throw
