Sin embargo, su velocidad de natación normal no es tan rápida. Macho: Este es muy ágil, maniobrando como un avión de combate en el agua gracias a su potente chorro de propulsión y sus grandes aletas. Aire: Mujer: Vampyronassa puede lanzarse por los aires a una altura considerable y descender lentamente como un paracaídas, girando como un helicóptero. Si aumentamos significativamente su resistencia, puede realizar hasta 3 lanzamientos en el mismo aire. Macho: Similar a la hembra, puede impulsarse por el aire, pero la diferencia es que se desliza como un pez volador, cubriendo distancias medias a baja altura gracias a sus grandes aletas y cuerpo plano. Puede volar sobre pequeñas islas. Terrestre: Hembra: Puede moverse libremente en tierra, aunque lentamente. Se defiende bien con sus tentáculos, pero cuidado, no aterrices demasiado lejos de la costa ya que en tierra no podremos usar el chorro de propulsión y las cosas se pueden poner feas. También puede atascarse en las paredes del cañón. SALVAJE Puedes encontrarlos en aguas poco profundas por la noche con sus distintos patrones de color, o durante el amanecer/anochecer cerca de las islas mientras buscan presas que puedan llevarse, ya sea en el aire o en la costa. No son agresivos con los humanos, solo territoriales. Mientras no nos acerquemos demasiado, no habrá ningún problema. Si te acercas a una hembra y te encuentras con un grupo de estas criaturas, puedes matar a la hembra y todos los machos salvajes te protegerán. Sin embargo, si te acercas con un macho, simplemente te ignorarán. De vez en cuando, puedes encontrarlos muertos y varados en la costa, de forma similar al basilosaurus.Si los cosecha, puede recolectar mucha carne cruda, mucha pasta de cemento y un poco de tinta vampyronassa. Esta tinta se puede usar para fabricar una granada de tinta para ahuyentar a los depredadores, tanto dentro como fuera del agua, independientemente de si la criatura enemiga tiene un jinete. DOMESTIZACIÓN Esta especie es excelente para cultivar aceite y quitina/queratina de los cuerpos de otras criaturas. Si deja quitina/queratina en su inventario junto con la piedra, producirá pasta de cemento, aunque de manera menos eficiente que en un mortero pero más que en un banco de química. Gana daño rápidamente pero resistencia lentamente, y tanto machos como hembras tienen visión nocturna. MUJER: Agua y Tierra: Ataca con tentáculos, lanza bolas de piedra, muerde (agarra y atrapa criaturas más pequeñas con sus tentáculos) y usa un chorro de tinta para ahuyentar a los depredadores. Aire: si está equipado con una silla de montar, causa un daño significativo al acercarse a otros objetivos aéreos. Además, puedes lanzar granadas y usar armas de mano mientras lo conduces. La plataforma del sillín está diseñada para deslizarse, por lo que no gira con el calamar. MASCULINO: Agua: Puede causar un daño considerable al atrapar o atrapar criaturas con su pico. También puede desmontar a los jinetes de sus monturas usando sus tentáculos y liberar su infame tinta tóxica para asustar a los depredadores. Se puede equipar con un pequeño lanzagranadas. Si trae presas grandes que varios calamares machos pueden matar, puede domesticar más de uno a la vez. Para domar una hembra, es necesario tener ya dos machos. Acércate a otro grupo y mata a todos los machos para dejar libre a la hembra. La hembra no se volverá agresiva ya que pensará que están luchando por tener la oportunidad de aparecer con ella. Una vez que tengas la hembra libre, puedes aparecer a tus machos con ella. Una vez que estés embarazada, tendrás que esperar a que pongas huevos, que luego podrás robar. Incube los huevos en aguas poco profundas (o ríos) y, con suerte, algunas hembras eclosionarán. ESP VAMPYRONASSA MOVILIDAD. -agua: Hembra: Puede proyectarse cuidadosamente, dándose así un impulso muy poderoso (gasta mucha estamina) Aunque luego bucear normal no es tan rápida. Macho: Este es muy ágil pudiendo maniobrar como un caza de bf dentro del agua gracias a su poderoso chorro de impulso y sus grandes aletas. -Aire: Hembra: Vampyronassa puede proyectarse hacia el aire a una altura considerable cayendo lentamente como un paracaídas dando vueltas como un helicóptero. Si le subimos bastante la estamina, podremos proyectarnos hasta un máximo de 3 veces en el mismo aire. Macho: Este al igual que la hembra puede proyectarse al aire pero con la diferencia de que planea como un pez volador recorriendo así medias distancias a bajas alturas gracias a sus grandes aletas y cuerpo plano pudiendo sobrevolar pequeñas islas -Tierra: Hembra: Puede usar desgastado por tierra aunque lentamente, se defiende bien gracias a sus tentáculos pero no te confíes, no aterrices muy alejado de la costa ya que en tierra no podremos usar el chorro proyector y las cosas se pueden poner feas ahí fuera. Esta también puede quedarse enganchada en las paredes de los barrancos. SALVAJE Estos los podemos encontrar en aguas poco profundas por las noches con sus fuertes patrones de color o en el amanecer/atardecer pegados a las islas cazando aquellas presas que se pueden llevar a la boca, ya sea al vuelo o en tierras costeras. Estos no son agresivos con los humanos, solo territoriales por lo que si no nos acercamos demasiado no pasa nada. Si vas con una hembra y te encuentras con un grupo de estos puedes matar a la hembra y así todos los machos salvajes te protegerán, y si vas con un macho simplemente pasarán de ti. Nos lo podemos encontrar de vez en cuando muertos varado en la costa como basilosaurio, si lo picamos podremos farmear de la mucha carne muerta, mucho cemento y un poco de tinta de vampyronassa.Con la tinta podremos crear una granada de tinta para ahuyentar a depredadores, DOMESTICADO Esta especie farmear muy bien el aceite y la quitina/queratina del cuerpo de otros animales, ya si le dejamos en el inventario la quitina/queratina con la piedra empezará a producir cemento de una manera más eficiente que el mortero pero menos que la mesa química . Este sube rápido de daño pero lento de estamina, y lo que más falta nos hace es estamina, además tanto macho como hembra posee visión nocturna. Hembra. Agua y tierra: ataque tentáculos con bolas de piedra, mordisco (quedándose enganchado (si es grande) o atrapando con sus tentáculos al animal(si es pequeño)) y chorro de tinta espantando así a depredadores. Aire: esta si dispone de la montura, al acercarse a otros objetivos aéreos causará mucho daño, además podremos lanzar granadas, disparar con ballesta/armas desde nuestra montura, está montura está creada de tan forma que la plataforma del jinete deslice para que no gire con el calamar. Macho. Agua: este puede atrapar o quedarse enganchada causando mucho daño con su pico a otras criaturas, también puede desmontar a jinetes de sus monturas con sus tentáculos, además de echar su famosa tinta tóxica que aullenta depredadores. Tenemos la opción de equipar al macho con un pequeño mortero de granadas. Aire: en aire este no tiene ataques, simplemente podremos usar nuestras armas de mano el tiempo que este en vuelo MÉTODO DE DOMESTICACIÓN. El primer paso de todos es encontrar un grupo de estos calamares, posteriormente nos centraremos en matar a la hembra líder y quedarnos solo con los machos, una vez los machos estén sin hembra podremos pasar a domesticarlo pasivamente, atrayendo presas vivas para que ataquen, por lo que si traemos presas grandes que consigan matarlo varios calamares machos estaremos domesticando más de uno a la vez. Para domesticar a la hembra necesitaremos tener ya dos machos, nos acercaremos a otro grupo y tendremos que matar a todos los machos para dejar a la hembra libre, la hembra no se pondrá en peligro ya que pensará que se pelean por reproducirse con ella.Una vez tengamos a la hembra libre podremos aparear nuestros machos con ella, cuando esté fecundada habrá que esperar hasta que la hembra ponga los huevos para robarlos, X

Dossier: Common Name: Ornimegalonyx Species: Ornimegalonyx Terranoctua Time: Late Pleistocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: Ornimegalonyx is a giant terrestrial species of owl that lives in plains and deserts. Like most ground owls, they burrow underground and make dens, but unlike most, they hunt at night. Also unlike most burrowing owls, they seem to still have some control over their abnormally large wings that normal ground owls don’t have. Their feathers seem to fold against its body very well, allowing them to be very aerodynamic. This influences their hunting style, going to large heights, and sky diving at their prey. The most interesting part of the owl is its stealthiness. The Ornimegalonyx doesn't even make a peep while hunting, even when jumping around with its strong legs. Ornimegalonyx seems to have a certain hunting style that not only make it faster and fierce, but make them completely silent, to the point where creatures with echolocation can't even hear them. They do, however, hate certain light producing objects. Domesticated: Ornimegalonyx is an incredible stealth hunter that can very easily take out a target one after another. If that wasn’t good enough, I’ve seen survivors strap on jets onto the backs of these, allowing them to use their wings again. The fuel used for the jets, made from unique chemicals of the Ark, seem to combust very quietly. Funny enough, the jet's booster can accelerate loudly at fast speed and allow the owl to swoop at anything small enough it can grab. Gameplay: Ornimegalonyx will be a tad bit bigger than a Terror Bird. It will spawn in the dunes or (in the plains on other maps) in packs of 2 to 3. They will attack medium sized creatures. They might surprise attack players by burrowing underground. They only spawn during the night, and during the day they will be underground. Taming Information: Ornimegalonyx are a knockout tame that can only be tamed during the night. While their torpor does drain at a super fast rate,if there is an electrical storm, any Charge related source, or fire light, touches it, then their torpor will drain at a normal rate. Creature abilities: Passive: During the night, the Ornimegalonyx is able to be ignored by all wild creatures. Ornimegalonyx makes very little noise. Has Stalker vision during the night. First Ability, Slash Ornimegalonyx will perform a basic claw slash or peck while running, and will do around the same amount of damage as the Terror Bird Second Ability: Jump Ornimegalonyx will do a leap similar to Ferox, being more horizontal than vertical Third Ability: Float Ornimegalonyx does a float like there Terror Bird, except descends a lot quicker. Fourth Ability: Sky Dive While in the air, the can land back on the ground, similar to a Managamr dive, except if a target is hit, the Ornimegalonyx will pin any small target to the ground, and will start scratching at it. Has 25% armor piercing. Uses a lot of stamina Fifth Ability: Prowl Will grant the Prowl Buff until toggled off or stamina runs out. Prowl will make the Ornimegalonyx completely silent, where Parsaurs and Desmodus can’t detect them. Damage and Speed also increase by 30%. While Prowl is activated, the Ornimegalonyx stamina will drain at a pretty fast rate. Will automatically deactivate if Charge is around. Fifth Ability: Burrow Ornimegalonxy burrows underground like a Basilisk, but moves at a much slower rate. If Jet saddle is equipped, Ornimegalonxy can shoot itself out of the ground. Will cause a lot of noise Jet Saddled: Allows Ornimegalonyx to fly, just being a bit slower than the Desmodus, but doesn’t have a good turning radius. Skydive happens much quicker. Sixth Ability: Swoop Ornimegalonyx will swoop down, and grab a smaller target and throw them forward a considerable distance. Will create a lot of noise Seventh Ability: Sky Burrow: While in the air, Ornimegalonyx will do a straight dive back into the ground, and burrow itself. Other Information: Immune to fall damage. Has normal breeding function with its breeding stats being similar to a Snow Owl. Has a Primitive saddle that is unlocked at level 56 that has armor value. The Jet saddle can be unlocked at level 68 with no armor value and can be crafted in a fabricator. A special fuel used for the jet saddle, called Augmented Gasoline, can be made in the Chemical Bench or Mortar and Pestle, made from gasoline, angler gel, and polymer. Can be hit with bola and net. Weapons can be used on this creature. Gameplay Uses: Ornimegalonyx will be an excellent stealth creature, with its being able to take down one target at a time with anything noticing. Its skydive will be this creature's main attack, being able to dismount survivors and deal major damage to them. If that doesn’t work, then its prowl can be used to finish a target off. Not to mention its jet saddle, which not only gives it the ability to fly, but also buff it's already good skydive and another dismount that can quickly relocate an enemy survivor so that they will have no help. This creature can also be amazing at rocket runs, with its two attacks that greatly increase its speed, one of which makes it immune to Parasaur detection. It can escape and surprise players with its burrowing abilities. Another cool thing about this creature is that you have a choice how to play it, with one saddle offering armor, and the other offering no armor, but extra abilities. However, it does have counters, being very mediocre at killing other mounts, and its Prowl can be completely counter with a Charge source. In PVE, this creature is excellent to use for taming or going out in the wild, with creature deaggoeing really quick off of it. Overall, this creature could be super fun to use in PVP, and would add a stealth creature to the game, something Ark doesn’t have a lot of. I thought it would be cool to add another owl to the games, since the one we have in the game isn’t really owl like. When I was searching one up though, this is the first one to show up. The only problem being it was a giant burrowing owl. So it thought it would be cool to allow this thing to still fly, but with the help of its saddle. The idea of adding another owl to the game was to make a stealth creature, similar to owl in real life, but since the Ornimegalonyx is a burrowing owl, it was fun to give it attributes from both burrowing and flying owls.
