Please, allow flights in fjordur jotunheim biome. It's my favourite place in game. I don't see objective goals why flights restricted there. It would be nice to fly there on quetzal not only whistle sitting on chair on its platform.

On a less sour note from my other comment, I have a server named OOGA BOOGA: Fellas and I’d love to get some more people on it. It’s pve and slightly tweaked to lessen some of the resource grind but still being difficult, some added Dino spawns but not many. Might add more if people join and wanna play more. The sever is password protected so if you want to join hmu, server is under unofficial pc sessions.

With the raise in people parking their Stryders in the cave, some people have started using them like firewalls, others dinos can pass but not other stryders i had been getting around this with the mission terminal in the back of the cave, but on my server they started blocking that too. so here is my suggestion.. Something in the cave that EATS stryders specifically, or maybe the zone that is aberration cave does not provide offline damage prevention. That way we dont have to keep reporting these people they just loss their stryders as a payment for being a griefer. Thank you PVE person on 1187

Fjordur's sub-biomes or realms would be far better off being 1x damage and flyer enabled rather than 6x and the only thing you can use are bats. Fjordur brought us the Desmodus, and as it stands, it is already an incredibly useful and versatile tame on the map. The issue I see with it, is its realistically the ONLY choice to ride. The open fields of Asgard and the mountainous Jotunheim are, in my opinion, BUILT to be explored from the skies. These realms could be a ton of fun for PVP if we could just fly more than just bats and could build out in the open in these areas. This, and the fact that there are 4 wyvern trenches and you really can't fly in 3 of them with anything but bats. On top of that, The Tropeo is on the map, and works well as a counter to a variety of flyers.... except you can't fly it in the Realms aside from Midgard. It raises the issue of "why even raise wyverns or tame tropes? I can't use em anyways on majority of the map anyways." Yes, you could just pvp out in Midgard, but that is only a small portion of the map taking into account 3 entire alternative realms and a vast collection of caves. 6x pvp zones work well for caves or even metal spawns, but I really do wish we could see 1x and flyer enabled come to Asgard, Jotunheim, and Vanaheim. We could see a wider selection of pvp come to the map, which I see as very healthy for the map itself! Issues I could see people having with this is the invalidation of raising tames that work well in no flyer, such as the Maewings or Rockdrakes, but my counter is this: You already can fly in these locations with Desmodus, so why use a Drake? What would adding a larger variety of flyers harm in such an environment? After removing Titans from the mod version coming into the official version and removing 3 entire caves from the alternate realms with them, along with various plateau type base locations on the borders of them, I think the map would benefit from a buff to these realms to incentivize more pvp and building within them!

The Chimera, also Chimaera, according to Greek mythology, was a monstrous fire-breathing hybrid creature, composed of different animal parts from Lycia, Asia Minor. It is usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat protruding from its back, and a tail that ends with a snake's head. Maybe make it where you can stand on 2 legs and/or crawl on 4. Also, 4 legged attacks with the snake tail. Should add decent speed and Holding jump does half the shadowmane's jump distance, would be nice. Just think about it

I have just started a playthrough on Fjordur and I have noticed that there are no loot crates spawning and that there are no denochytus eggs spawning either..... is the map bugged?

Request Wildcard make Fjordur a Beginner Server Map

Beginner servers are very restricted in what we can do. But they are very attractive to new players to learn the game. And to old players to see the game through the eyes of younger players. They have the up side of not having any tek. The buildings are pretty because they don't go past a medieval ascetic. Only Fjordur should become a Beg server. The new players and old players that stay to teach newbs would benefit. Don't add any other maps because that would spread the beginner servers to thin. Biggest advantage beg server have atm is huge population so there is always someone to talk to. For those who crave chat which is the reason for multiplayer fun time to talk to others. The regular servers can be ghost towns no one left talking. Please consider add only the free dlc Fjordur as a BEGINNER SERVER MAP as it would benefit new players to have such a fine map for themselves. -
Am I the only one shocked that (considering the other special dinos from both Genesis maps are in Fjördur) Bloodstalkers have yet to be added in a non-Genesis map? I’m not sure about the mod version of Fjördur, but Vanaheim seems like the perfect place for Bloodstalkers to be found (you know, because of the giant trees).

my tribemate and i came over to this map to set up a temporary base - we wanted to tame some sinos for a breeding line, my tribemate is utterly hopeless when it comes to staying alive, and had a lot of fun with the critters. i wanted to breed some that would (hopefully) stay alive or at least have a constant supply so that i didnt have to keep coming over and taming them. while here, we claimed the redwood castle on the island. my tribemate was ecstatic and loved the location immediately, asking if we could move here as our main server. i was honestly not as enthusiastic. im having so many issues with freezing, lag spikes, textures not loading, my game crashing constantly whenever im playing this map. ive been hunting a decent level lightning wyvern egg for months to no avail. the trench is probably the biggest reason i hate this map. the lag there is so bad ive lost several tames to it. im endlessly frustrated the whole time im on this map. i just dont find myself enjoying any of the good stuff the map has to offer. ready to just transfer out to fjordur instead, overcrowding be damned. is there ANYTHING at all lost island has over fjordur that makes it worth staying here? -
Had three servers where players could increase flyer speed as one of the attributes under dino stats (plus sign was enabled so players could add a skill point to level up flyer speed which was default setting after jan 2021 patch i believe). Fjordur dropped and desmodus was introduced. Could add points via plus sing, but no change to speed. After last event ended, 1 of the nitrado server no longer had the ability to increase flyer speed. Cotacted nitrado support again then began process of reinstalling, restoring maps and then server backup, etc... still same issue. Moved server to new hardware, same issue. Other two servers, can still level flying speed via dino skills in dino charcater properties. Support said they don't support customized Arks, this is not a customized ark. Started after summer bash ended on one server. Rented new server same issue so on two servers players can level flyer speed, on two servers, players can't (plus sign not enabled so can't level flyer speed so flying very slow). I think either a patch or service is missing or needs to be rerun because something happened to a dl when enter ended and was removed form servers host Ark, or something broke the Jan 21 patch that enabled players to level flyer speed. Either way, how do we get this fixed? -
This is for Ark 1 or 2 This is unique creature that is found on mountains and beaches this creature requires bug repellent to tame cuz it's a agressive creature.Use Raw Meat to Lead it to a corpse that will tame it.It prefers Diplodocus or bronto corpse and it will tame it instantly,but smaller corpses will tame it much slower and player would need more of them. Stats Health:1500 Stamina:450 Speed:100% Food:4500 Damage: -Bite does 108 damage and also has bleed effect that does 120 damage which is 228 damage in total weight:650 Torpor:9500 Saddle is learnt at level 84 and need 65 experience points Materials for saddle: 45 metal ingot 1000 fiber 450 hide 35 oil 200 silica pearls 150 sparkpowder saddle can only be crafted at smithy Special abilities: Agressive Roar -Boosts stats by 50% -eyes turn glowing red -duration:120sec -Drains 400 stamina -Usable every 10 minutes -charged with focal chill Drops: raw prime meat 8-20 raw meat 36-44 Hide 65-70 Keratin 20-34 more description: this creature has small spikes from head to tail. This creature is completley immune to any stuns or debuffs. Great to use in boss fights. Its roar would also buff tamed creatures around it when tamed. You can only bring 1 in a boss arena and 2 in tek cave. When this creature is riden no creature would agro on a player or a dino. This creature passivley creates keratin in its inventory which makes it unique. The downside of this creature is that is really rare and you can only find 3-5 per map. These creatures can breed but to imprint a baby it requires 250 prime meat or 500 prime fish meat. This DLC is for all devices. Creature is vulnerable to fire so fire will do 5% more damage to this creature. But this creature has infinite oxygen but it isn't an aquatic creature.

Fenirir is extremely hard to get but without any skills or get anything new, 6 bosses to defeat for a wolf with stun . . . We understand getting the titans off the map, but making Fenrir so hard to get and without any really impactful and important abilities is very frustrating. A dinosaur so difficult to obtain has to be at least very strong and with unique abilities. It is worth mentioning several extremely difficult to tame and unique dinos such as Shadowmane, Reaper, Astrocetus, Tek Stryder, Phoenix, Bloodstalker, etc. Please give Fenrir a decent role, add new skills, show the community that you still love the game. Some suggested skills: summon and control wolfs; Summon Skol and Hati (sons of fenrir); Summon the snowstorm around him; Freezing breath; Some kind of freezing dash.

Has anyone else noticed since last update to decrease alpha spawns, that there are no alpha rexes? The the spawns are so minimal now its extremely hard to get runes to run world bosses.

I am a new player with 200 hours on steam and 120 hours on epic i am mainly playing solo. I like gathering resources building, farming breeding all kind of stuff. I played for a few days on PVP but i was raided daily so i stop. I need more people because i cant do anything solo. If anyone needs one or two guys more to play I am up to.

Can we reconsider the 70% reduction on element in the magmasaur Pitt? On regular rates it was only 300 element max. Now it's 90 or less. Please balance/increase. -
Hey! I noticed all of the dinos new from Fjordur are not able to be unpodded on Aberration. I'm here to petition for these creatures to be added to Aberration's allowed classes list, and why they still fit into the aberration theme/mindset regarding limiting certain tames. Andrewsarchus - This creature walks completely on land, and is more like a horse than a pig. Horses are allowed on Ab, so I feel this would be a fair thing to add to aberration. Granted the gun struggles to match up with aberration's usual vibe, however I'd argue it would prove useful against the limited number of actions you can usually take against things on ab. In this particular context, I am referring to the PVP side of the game, but I feel it would better balance mek/tek suit PVP on aberration. Fjordhawk - This creatures entire design revolves around picking bags and retrieving items. Granted full birds have typically been excluded from aberration, but Featherlights could be a counterargument as to why the Fjordhawk would still be a good fit, since it is a shoulder pet too and not a ridable bird. Aberration is a tough map in many cases, and being able to retrieve bags from horrible mishaps, both of the users fault and of the game's fault in certain terrain related incidents, would be a huge boon for aberration players. Fenrir - This creature's abilities are unique, but you can do certain forms of the same stuff with creatures that many people would argue have no business being on aberration. Examples being Freezing with Managarmr, spike reflection with Shadowmanes, unique pre-given saddle armor with Shadowmanes, etc. Creatures with WAY more wild abilities are on aberration class allowed list already, and I think Fenrir should be allowed to be part of that. Desmodus - This one is a TOUGH argue as it does fly around, which largely fights against the no flyer gameplay aberration strives for usually. However, where better to allow giant bats that break the usual no-flyer in caves rule than the massive underground that is aberration? It fits the underground vibe very well, with the abilities it posseses being a huge boon against creatures already allowed such as Bloodstalkers, Manas, and Tek Suiters (Not a creature but it really isn't fun to have no counter to a suiter being able to just zoom away untouched and unpunished for being underprepared aside from the suit itself. I can't imagine I'm the only one that feels that way). The echolocation screech in the dark depths of aberration also looks incredibly awesome! If anyone see's this and agrees, please upvote so we can gain some traction on this and get this visible to the devs to consider? ❤️ Have a great day!

Before I start, I know that the map is just out and will probibly need some time to work out the kinks. Im playing singleplayer on PS4/5 and i decided to go into Fjordur as a new character. Firstly before playing survival I flew around in creative mode, and I noticed as is custom that there are dlc creatures on the map. I thought this was great until I loaded up survival and looked at the engrams available. Seems that only base game engrams are available. So while there are Basilisks, Magmasaurs and R-Snow owls on Fjordur you cannot use them. Im hoping that this only an oversight and that this was not intended.

hi all , on my server, to turn standard dino to tek, I use ( in game.ini ) NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Para_Character_BP_C", ToClassName="BionicPara_Character_BP_C") NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Quetz_Character_BP_C", ToClassName="BionicQuetz_Character_BP_C") NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Raptor_Character_BP_C", ToClassName="BionicRaptor_Character_BP_C") NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Rex_Character_BP_C", ToClassName="BionicRex_Character_BP_C") NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Stego_Character_BP_C", ToClassName="BionicStego_Character_BP_C") But since Fjordur, Rex replecement is no more working and make all the rex vanish 😢 let me know if its a bug or how to slove it. TY

So I know that there are the X-Rock Elementals in the volcano cave by the wyverns, but are there any other spawns for normal rock elementals? Or even the Ice versions? Just trying to get an easier option since the ground for trapping in the volcano is so uneven.

Fjordur Ps4, unofficial pc server pve I have been playing on fjordur lately and noticed the sloped roof don't like to snap to the slanted wall in the right position even with selecting different placement options. It wants to place halfway down the slanted wall rather then at the top like normal. It will treat regular wall as a slanted wall and the corner of the regular wall sticks out the top... I am at a loss as to what is going on. 😕 Is it a wait for an update thing right now? Didn't know if anyone else was having this issue?

I don't see any white drops on my fjordur server is this the way it is meant to be? All the others spawn even though I have rag drop settings in my game ini. Does anyone know where there is a written list of beacon ids for this map? Thx.

Official Fjordur PlayStation and Xbox Small Tribes Servers

I recently noticed in the Ark Official Discord that PC Small Tribes gained a couple more Fjordur servers. I wanted to suggest this same change for PlayStation and Xbox. There are tons of people who missed the Fjordur launch and started late but we’re/are unable to catch up to those tribes who started on launch. The servers are very full and all the cool spots are taken leaving those who missed the launch behind. Considering that this is the last map for Ark 1, it is also the VERY LAST time for new tribes to get established on Small Tribes Servers on an even playing field, without getting destroyed by the larger and older tribes from the main cluster. Fjordur is truly an amazing map and giving those people who missed launch a chance to give Small Tribes a go one last time would be truly a great final gift from Wildcard for Ark 1. -
