In Saurophaganax is a large carnivorous dinosaur that terrifies all sauropod riders. Introducing to you, Rhamphorhynchus: The Fast Paced Air Crackhead (Art by LapisLazuli) A long-tailed pterosaur slightly larger than a pteranodon and found in the same places too, which travel in packs in the air, showing sexual dimorphism with males being larger, they will usually surround prey and take turns swooping and attacking it Common Name: Rhamphorhynchus Species: Rhamphorhynchus Insanis Time: Late Jurassic Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Insane Wild: Rhamphorhynchus Insanis is much bigger than the ones found back in my day but still hold the sexual dimorphism they did, although one thing which strikes as a surprise to me is how aggressive and downright hyperactive they are A pack of this can relentlessly chase, circle, swoop and kill bigger than them, with males grounding the prey down with their weight while the females tear chunks of flesh off of them Domesticated: Rhampho is easily one of the most versatile flying mounts I've seen in this place, they can quickly get out of the way by dashing mid-air, carry great combat abilities with their hardened steel-like tail which allows them to block creatures attacks and even do a pack call which greatly benefits their previous abilities (Saddled drawing made by koz5000) Abilities: Active abilities: Bite (, , ): A regular fast bite dealing low damage, you can also charge it to have armor piercing properties Parry (, , ): It uses a hardened steel-like tail to block the attack of any small to medium creature, this blocks the damage and deals 50% of it back to the attacker, the attack doesn't have a cooldown but the chargeback effect does (15 seconds give or take), this attack must be fast and responsive as that´s what the creature is all about (Piece made by LapisLazuli) Multi-Grab (, , ): By holding right click Rhamphos can grab creatures far above their weight class by collectively grabbing them, up to 3 rhamphos at a time may grab a creature, if you grab a creature all Rhamphos following you will help you grab it and carry it around like any other flyer Latch (Click C, , ): The Rhampho dives into a target and latches onto them (the lightweight ability doesn't affect him when latched) Females will get a minigame which works like the mammoth drum one, and if you are able to get it perfectly the Rhampho will gain a health boost by ripping a chunk of flesh out of the creature and eating it then flying out again, if you fail you get knocked off the creature Males will latch onto the creature and deal small bites which do little damage, they also slow the target due to its weight, they can even take flyers down if enough Rhamphos stick to it, males have 150 drag weight, whenever this goes over the latched creature´s drag weight, it will be either slowed or taken down completely, for example: Pteranodon -> 149 drag weight, 1 rhampho Tapejara -> 149 drag weight, 1 rhampho Wyvern -> 416 drag weight, 3 rhampho Quetzal -> 500 drag weight, 4 rhampho Rhynio -> 500 drag weight, 4 rhampho (Representation of the dive and latch by LapisLazuli) Dash: By double tapping a movement key (WASD) it dashes towards the respective direction, this consumes a bit more stamina than regular flight, if there is a small creature nearby the fast wing flap will knock them away Pack Call (, , ): By holding right click you can make a call with your pack mates which lasts 15 seconds and has a 45 seconds cooldown, this call completely negates the lightweight, making it impossible to ground for a small time, ups the males dragweight to 250, and makes the female regen buff much more powerful Passive Abilities: Lightweight: While not really an ability, it is worth mentioning, when shot at (projectiles or hitscan), Rhamphorynchus will fall to the ground if the damage dealt was high enough. Rhamphorhynchus gets knocked to the ground, it does not get fall damage as that would probably kill it most times, and it gets half it´s stamina removed as a way of penalizing standing still Likewise this creature can also be bola´d This only comes into action when the damage dealt to Rampho at once is above 6% of its total health Pack Boost: Rhamphos get a pack boost of up to 4 pack members, giving 10% more damage and 10% damage resistance, it also unlocks an ability previously mentioned Crackhead Energy: Allies near Rhampho will get a 10% movement speed buff and a minor constant stamina regeneration buff Flyers get a 15% movement speed buff instead of 10% The amount of stamina regenerated depends on the amount of Rhamphos in the pack, the more Rhamphos around the more stamina creatures will regenerate Taming Method: To tame your own Rhampho you must aggro it and use its lightweight ability to your advantage, first you´ll have to shoot it and ground him, after this you must bola him, only then will it actually gain torpor when being shot at with tranq equipment If you shoot at it with tranquilizers without it being grounded and bola´d it will not gain any torpor QoF Features and Uses: The Rhamphorhynchus´ main gimmick would be a fast hit and run creature with a high skill ceiling, I've taken inspiration from games like Ultrakill and other fast paced games and try to adapt their gameplay here, with quick reflexes, prediction skills and fast movement being needed to truly use this creature to a full extent It is meant to be an early game mount with low health and weight, medium damage and stamina stats, and a speed comparable to the wyvern due to crackhead energy while being much smaller, this makes it a good early game mount while also making it useful for mid-game and even late game PvP design and uses: As I've said before this is based on fast games like Ultrakill or Doom while also having the pack mentality twist on it with a high skill ceiling, it would be great to take down much bigger creatures than it when in pack as they can be slowed down and ripped down to shreds or parried till death. Also works great against flyers as they can be easily grounded, packed onto and then killed by bigger land creatures. The dash, parry, lightweight and female latch abilities would require good timing to be useful (or to outright not die) being incredibly powerful when on good stats and on the right hands (mine) PvE design and uses: A good flier to ground and slow creatures down which could work as support for taming, useful for scouting the map as it is fast as a wyvern, the crackhead energy helps making scouting faster and more consistent when around rhamphos, great for escape plans as it can ground flyers or slow down any creature and fighting against bigger enemies than itself and grabbing creatures bigger than it for early game. Name: Panthera Species: Panthera Blytheae Time: late Messinian Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Territorial, useful, Wild: I had met cunning predators in the mountains and snowy highlands but this one, the Panthera Blytheae is a skilled predator. It commonly lives in arctic lands. Stalks into the bushes after finding its prey. In open grounds it's prowling to them. Just a little time and strikes it by surprise. You better watch yourselves near the bushes. That's the best point where you can die easily. Panthera Blytheae is an evasive hunter which kills you when you're trying to tame it. It's not just hunting its little preys, Now I saw it on a diplodocus. It successfully took down by biting its weak point and even bleeding. So Do not go with mounts! Panthera Blytheae knows almost all of the Large dinosaurs's weak points. I think those times it had taken down Carnivores too. After all I told you the informations about it, you're scared. The best option to avoid this danger is only flying. This cat cannot take down flyers in 500m high. Domesticated: Domestication of this cat is very difficult, Bringing many dodos and sheeps, whistling to stay in one place, hiding into rocks and watching them die by surprise. If you want to train it, you must be careful. A tamed cat is very fast and strong. Its abilities are useful against bosses. Before attacking buffs up itself and other tames increasing their speed and damage. Like raptor Panthera Blytheae jumps on small creatures to finish them by instant, but this can take down large creatures and deal any damage to the bosses to take down. It doesn't need saddle to ride

This will be a medium sized carnivore bigger than a carno but smaller than allosaurus.

This group of birds is much larger than their real world counterparts mostly due to the fact that the majority of bugs in the ARK which they primarily feed on are very large. These birds sport a V- shaped tail and pointed wings which not only allows long distance travel it also grants them amazing agility. This bird also rarely lands as they have learned to eat and even drink on the fly! This will be an awesome tame throughout your time on the ARK whether it’s your scouting buddy, or your aerial ace, or just a fun friend to fly with. Passive nature spawns on beaches, swamps, grasslands, and just about anywhere in scorched earth they will bolt when attacked by anything so get ready to defend it when taming To tame you need to passively feed it chitin Wild ones rarely land They deal very low damage to most things but are really strong against bugs and other invertebrates Normal saddle unlocked at lvl 15 Razor-wing saddle unlocked at lvl 55 Equips blades onto the front edge of the wings Flying in to creatures with the razor-wing saddle inflicts damage and has a low chance of inflicting bleed status Battle saddle unlocked at lvl 85 Battle saddle has a fixed/stationary mini gun which uses advanced rifle bullets and burns through them quickly, combined with the Kites low weight you’ll run out of ammo fast Jet saddle unlocked at lvl 100 this is to further implement its traversing capabilities allowing it to cover long distances very quickly They are faster than the pteranodon but have the same weight, and health They have stamina almost equivalent to the argentavis They can glide really fast They have a dive bomb ability which doesn’t do damage but puts them into a completely vertical dive fast mid-air strafe/dodge to help avoid other aerial opponents please leave any suggestions as I would love to improve/balance the design And if anyone wants to make this an active mod on ascended feel free to do so (might not keep jet saddle)

🦖 Creature Proposal: DSUNGARIPTERUS 🦖 "Wing of Junggar Basin" Real Data: Scientific Name: Dzungarian wing Meaning: "Sea Runner of Seth" Era: Cretaceous Characteristics: A large pterosaur with an imposing crest and an aerodynamic design perfect for fast, lethal flight. Similar in size to a Tapejara. ⚔️ Concept for ARK: Role: Ambush aerial predator and pack support Habitat: Cliffs and crags of Valguero, where it lurks from above to strike unsuspecting prey Temperament: Extremely aggressive, territorial, and hostile towards any creature or survivor that enters its domain 🧠 Innovative Taming Mechanic: "Predator's Ritual" Forget traditional taming. To domesticate a Dsungaripterus, you'll need: Special Smoke Grenades: The Dsungaripterus is a master of aerial combat but has a weakness: disorientation. Throw smoke grenades near its nest to momentarily blind it, causing it to land confused and vulnerable. Trophy of Dominance: First, you must kill another of its species to obtain its Crest. Equip the fallen Dsungaripter's Crest on your head to appear as a dominant figure. Biotoxin Offering: Approach passively "while the smoke lasts" and feed it Biotoxins to begin intoxicating it. During the biotoxin's effect, you must glide with your wingsuit, and the Dsungaripterus will follow you, gradually taming as it chases.
