Wild Quinkana is found inside the sulfur zone, being a very territorial beast, it will attack that small creature poisoning it with the gas it emits and then devouring it. If you have run into him and he has seen you, run away, he will melt what you are wearing with acid until you die. Taming You will have to be brave and attack him with all the bullets you have, since you will have to shoot him in the nodes of his back to be able to inflict torpor and tame him. Tamed This creature has an unusual acceleration. It can turn the sulfur in its body into a gas that serves to give it energy to reach its maximum speed, it will start galloping and can destroy any rock and tree that gets in its way, with this it will also damage the creatures it collides with, leaving them poisoned for a few seconds. Having the Quinkana on your side is a great advantage, because if he has sulfur in his possession he will be able to make a second attack with it, leaving a corrosive cloud that will allow you to deal more damage to the elemental veins.

Barinasuchus: The Cenozoic Apex Land Predator
TheRedElite6 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
My submission for The Center is Bariasuchus, the Cenozoic Apex Land Predator! Basic Real World Info: The Barinasuchus lived during the early Cenozoic era, from the mid-Eocene epoch until the mid-Miocene. It was the largest terrestrial predator, during an age dominated prominently by large mammals such as mammoths, megatheriums, and saber-toothed tigers. These reptiles were part of the Sebecidae family, and lived its live on land. In real life, this gigantic reptile is estimated to be about the size of an Allosaurus. It also had a skull the size of Daspletosaurus, a direct ancestor of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. It also had serrated knife-like teeth that were like those of the theropod dinosaurs. Ark Submission: Common Name: Barinasuchus Species Name: Barinasuchus Arveloi Time: Cenozoic Era Diet: Carnivore Temperment: Aggressive Wild: Barinasuchus is a solitary hunter, using ambush tactics like it’s crocodilian cousins. Hwvever, with longer legs and a shorter tail, Barinasuchus is more adept at chasing prey down on land than in water. These large carnivores prefer to live in the plains and forests of the Arks, can even be seen on the edge of the tundras. It’s sharp teeth and powerful jaws make this creature a threat to many unprepared survivors. If you do decide to fight a Barinasuchus, I wouldn’t advice doing it on foot, as once it is within range, it can quickly pin many of the smaller creatures of the Ark, leaving them at it’s mercy. Domesticated: When tamed, Barinasuchus are ideal creatures of war. While definitely not a tank, it can still hold it own against the Arks larger creatures like Allosaurus and Megalosaurus. And with their grappling prowess, they can quickly become dangerous on the battlefield. While they aren’t necessarily built for water, they are still adept swimmers, and can escape to it when it’s in danger from any larger terrestrial predators. Along with its long legs that help it cover distance quickly, and it can also become a powerful scouting option as well. Taming: To tame a Barinasuchus, you are going to need at least superior kibble, and a shield. You have to allow Barinasuchus to get close enough to pin you down. When it try’s to, simply have your shield raised, and it will fail. It will be stunned for a few seconds, which is when you feed it. It will wonder off for a little while, so keep track of it. Then, when it gets hungry again, you repeat the process until it is fully tamed. If Barinasuchus catches you unprepared and manages to pin you down, you are still able to feed it. However, it will result in a lower taming effectiveness. It will drop by roughly 10% for each failed attempt. Resource Gathering: With its strong jaws and serated teeth, it would be an adept gatherer of meat and keratin. Attacks: Left Click: Bite A simple bite attack that inflicts bleed, similar to a thlya Right Click: Pin/Pick up Similar to raptors, it is able to pin and hold creatures down. It can attack while pinning, but it does less damage, and doesn’t inflict bleed. It would be able to pin creatures up to the size of a dire bear and the smallest being a player. You and your creature can still attack when pinned, unlike raptor pins. If the creature is smaller than a human, instead of pinning it, Barinasuchus will pick it up in its jaws. It can still attack while doing this, and this will inflict the same amount of damage as a normal bite attack. However, it won’t inflict bleed. C Button: Roar Purely aesthetic. Real world poposaurus Poposaurus is an extinct genus of pseudosuchian archosaur from the late Triassic of the southwestern united states, that shares a striking resemblance with dinosaurs. It was 4-5 meters long and weighed 90-100 kilograms in game in game it will be roughly the same size as a carnotaurus. With the following stats at lvl1. Hp 510 stamina 450 oxygen 150 food 2700 damage 35 Abilities Vision poposaurus can see the exact stats of the dinosaur it is stalking and additionally it can see in infrared. Invisibility like the rock drake the poposaurus can become invisible. But unlike the rock drake their cloak will be more primitive, randomly flashing into a dark Grey shadow from time to time. Stalking poposaurus can stalk a single target at a time, you will have to hold RM while aiming at the target and over 0-15 seconds their damage will slowly charge up to as much as 400% against the stalked target. The stalk will pause when spotted and end when attacked. They also gain a 20% speed buff for 10 seconds after fully completing the stalk. Taming to tame them you have to sneak up on the stalker. If you sneak up to them and scare them the taming will start. They will gain respect for you and they will become passive towards you. After this you have to play a game of hide and seek the faster you find them the better the taming effectiveness.

Machimosasurus Rex -The Largest Marine Crocodilian-
Everdark posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Hello Survivors, For this vote I’d like to present to you, what is believed to be, the largest marine crocodilian aka The Machimosasaurus Rex. Getting straight to abilities, something that Casuls be used to set it apart from the other crocodilians in game is it could utilize the hydration buff and possibly have an immunity or resistance to the Cnidaria and Eels electricity and have a higher gather efficiency of Raw Prime Fish Meat if you aren’t already relying on a Leedsicthys farm. Another trait that could be used to differentiate it from other marine creatures is it could be more agile or have better control underwater, maybe on par or better than the Ichtyosaurs we currently have and the Machimosasaur could be a possible tame for dealing with other hydration buff creatures while they are submerged in water and possibly even squids by being immune to grabs and stuns while submerged. Size-wise the croc appears to be comparable to the in game Sarco so I could see the Machi being somewhere in between the Sarco and Karoo if it makes it into the game.- 4 replies
