  1. General information: Tarbosaurus was a genus of tyrannosaurine dinosaur from Asia, specifically Mongolia and China. Living 70 million years ago, it was around 33ft long, 9.8ft tall at the hips, and weighed 4.5 to 5 metric tons. It was the top predator of its time, feeding on large hadrosaurs and sauropods. Ark information: Common Name: Tarbosaurus Species: Tarbosaurus vastatio (vastatio means “waste” in Latin so it’s name translates to “alarming lizard of the waste”) Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive, but somewhat lazy Wild: From a distance, one might mistake this predator for its larger cousin, the T.Rex. But on closer inspection (or only as close as you want to be) it’s clear that Tarbosaurus vastatio is a very different theropod. While still large, it’s not as big or stocky like it’s relative. Its slimmer build allows it to travel through these wastelands surprisingly fast for an animal of its size, although it does get exhausted very quickly. I frequently see packs of them stopping and napping after a hunt or after they travel long distances. Tarbosaurus have a very affective hunting strategy. Once the pack locks on a target, they will mob it and deliver powerful bites to they prey’s sides. The goal is to cripple the animal so that it can’t get away or put up much of a struggle. After the target is brought down, the pack will gorge themselves until they can’t stomach another bite. After a good meal Tarbosaurus become very sluggish and will straight up ignore anything that comes near them while they lounge around. But once they’re hungry again, I’d definitely stay away from them. Domesticated: Its lazy nature is actually the reason why survivors have come to tame these predators. Once a Tarbosaur lays down to take a nap, carefully throw any kind of concoction into its mouth to forcefully wake it up. Waking it up before its nap is over will bring it closer to completion exhaustion. By prolonging it’s much needed sleep long enough, the mighty theropod will eventually pass out. Surprisingly, tamed Tarbosaurus don’t seem to have the need to take naps unlike their wild counterparts. You can however give them the same items you used to keep them awake during the taming process to give them a boost of energy. Don’t overstimulate them though cause they might pass out if given too much. A tamed Tarbosaurus is an amazing animal to have at your side. These powerful predators are perfectly suited for fighting animals far larger than they are. It seems that the larger the opponent they face, the stronger they become. So it’s definitely better to use against the larger creatures that have been affected by the Element corruption than the smaller ones. Either way it is still a great beast to have fighting for you. Its crippling bite is probably its best attribute. Being able to immobilize an enemy for either an easy kill or a quick escape make’s Tarbosaurus vital in these extremely dangerous wastelands. Tabrosaurus would be a mid to late game carnivore mount similar to that of a Rex or Spino. Having a good amount of health, damage, and weight while also having high movement speed for a tame of its size. However, its high movement speed comes at a cost of having low stamina. Players would tame them by waiting for these dinosaurs to fall asleep and feeding them Energy Brews. After keeping it awake long enough eventually it will completely pass out and which point it can be fed Exceptional Kibble. While possessing a normal attack like other tamed of its size, Tarbosaurus has a vital ability that makes its stand out from others. A crippling bite. This crippling bite is an attack that does less damage than it’s regular attack, but stuns and immobilizes the target for a short time. This stun affect last for only 10 seconds and the crippling bite has a 20 second cooldown before it can be used again. This attack would not affect bosses or titans. Tamed Tarbosaurs can be force feed Energy Brews to give them a buff which decreases their stamina drain and increases their movement speed at the cost of raising their torpor dramatically. Use this boost sparingly, otherwise they will pass out. Its damage output is based on drag weight. The higher the drag weight of a target, the more damage a Tarbosaur will inflict on it. Images are not mine
  2. INTRODUCING..... THE TARBOSAURUS, THE SWORDWIELDING DINOSAUR ART BY ME ( I am extremely bad at photoshop) Swords are cool right? What if you put them on dinosaurs? EVEN BETTER RIGHT???! I am excited to present the majestic Tarbosaurus, complete with its unique ability to wield a sword once tamed! This fearsome predator will not only add diversity with its unique ability, but also provide players with an exhilarating gameplay experience with complex combos and fluid combat, being almost like an extension of your character. Tarbosaurus is a very real tyrannosaur just like the famous T-rex, but a little bit smaller in size. It lived during the late Cretaceous period in Mongolia and china. Tarbosaurus means scary or alarming lizard, which has a major part in its design, as seeing a creature with a weapon in its mouth would be terrifying! My inspiration for the Tarbosaurus was the utterly amazing animations by Jean Nguyen (@Jeananimate on instagram, https://www.instagram.com/jeananimate/) of weapon wielding dinosaurs. I saw these and I immediately wished they were in ARK. Finally it has a chance to be implemented with the help of your vote! I know it may sound ridiculous and you’re probably thinking, “oh no its a t-rex copy”, but hear me out 😀 Tarbosaurus A semi-large tyrannosaur roaming the western cliffs, redwood and lava island of the center, running around the plains and forests with its surprising agility despite its size and the unique resourceful ability to wield a log as a makeshift weapon to deal tons of damage with a lot of range. The Tarbosaurus rewards players APM (Actions per minute) and knowledge of the moveset by performing lots of combos and attacks to chain a graceful yet terrifying dance of death with its sword. Inspired by the combat of Bloodborne. It features a sword, as well as a handful of other tyrannosaur sized weapons to enhance your Tarbosaurus’s arsenal as your player levels up. Allowing you to use another weapon of your choice that fits your playstyle. Do you want a slow and hard hitting weapon? Or something quick and agile, maybe something all rounded? You can even go basic and use a log instead of a sword if that's what you like. You can pick weapons such as a hammer, a katana, and a normal sword. My idea is that the Tarbosaurus would be an extremely good “adclear” dinosaur. Perfect for mowing down hordes of enemies and dealing high damage with effective precision, having more range than other creatures while using its weapon. This ability especially comes into play during boss fights, the enemies that the boss summon won't stand a chance against the might of your sword. Which makes it viable for many other maps as well. It allows for more active boss fights, instead of you standing still and boosting your tames with your Yutyrannus. I think this will make boss fights and the endgame of ark a little bit more fun. It can do this and also be able to move around with great agility, even for its size. This is its drawback though, as the movements its huge body has to perform consume a lot of energy, and it has increased food depletion, so it has to constantly feed while using its weapon. Much like a Daeodon, but not as serious. This will require you to continue killing creatures to satiate the hunger of your Tarbosaurus, so the more you kill the better. If you run out of hunger, you will put your weapon in a holster on your saddle, and you can equip once the food meter has met a threshold. You can also coat your Tarbosaurus weapons with different items to cause your attacks to cause status effects. Giving your “swordplay” a little bit more flare, and also giving the Tarbosaurus weapons more uses. Here are a few examples. Oil - When attacking a rocky surface you can create a spark that will coat your weapon in fire, which will burn enemies upon impact. Narcotic/Biotoxin - This will cause the target to get sleepy and fall asleep, this will cause more torpor than an average crossbow. NOTE: The hammer weapon deals a small amount of torpor intrinsically, so this is a perfect coating for your hammer if you want to tame, for example, a Bronto. Megalodon teeth - If you tie this to your Tarbosaurus's weapon you will inflict the bleed effect on your enemies. Titanoboa venom - This will poison the target and they will slowly take damage overtime. Here is an example of what the OIL coating could look like TEK SWORD The Tarbosaurus also has a tek-sword specifically made for it. It is larger than the player's normal TEK sword, and it is very light, so it doesn't drain the hunger of the Tarbosaurus. But it also gains a new attack, which allows it to throw the sword at a target, giving it more range and a way to deal with flyers, it also stuns the target for a short moment. Then the sword comes back to the wielder like a boomerang. This can be used to chain attacks, for example you can throw the sword while running towards the target to stun it, and then take the sword back and perform a sword lunge to decimate the target. Which allows for new gameplay options and ways to approach a fight. Kinda like this animation by Jean Ngyuen @Jeananimate on instagram, https://www.instagram.com/reel/CvIra8Etkxl/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== ABILITIES Passive Mobility Makes the Tarbosaurus extremely agile and quick despite its size, increases movement and attack speed. Faster Hunger As the Tarbosaurus wields its weapon it drains increased food, to compensate for the massive amounts of energy it takes to wield the weapon and move around. Critical hit. Each hit has a small chance to deal increased damage. Combo-attacks have an increased chance of a critical hit. While using weapon Lunge Gain momentum forwards and close the gap between your opponent and slash them with your weapon. Spin Spin your weapon and dino around and slice your enemies to bits with a tornado of lethal cuts. Side slash Move swiftly to the side and slash in the direction you're traveling. functioning as a dodge and also as an attack. Slam Slam the sword into the ground, this can be chained with the uppercut. Uppercut Thrust the sword upwards, giving more range for killing flyers close to you. Normal attack A simple slash towards your desired target. When weapon is sheathed Bite Stomp Tailswipe -TEK ONLY - - Throw Throw the TEK sword, stunning the target and dealing some damage. Press the button again to recall the sword, which can be chained into any of the attacks, creating new combos. [Input guide will be at the bottom left corner of the screen, like the Rhyniognatha] These abilities can be chained with each other to deal more damage and attack more targets at once. For example, the lunge can be used, and then with a timed button press you can start to spin the weapon around. Once that spin has ended you can press the uppercut button to swing your weapon up in the air, and then slam it in the ground again, and with a timed button press you can start that combo all over again with a lunge, until your hunger has depleted or until your target is dead. Most times it will be the second option. TAMING In its untamed state, the Tarbosaurus showcases its resourcefulness by wielding a log as a makeshift weapon. Witnessing this behavior in the wild will undoubtedly be a thrilling encounter for players exploring the vast world of the Center. The Tarbosaurus will employ this log to fend off predators and assert dominance over its territory, providing a challenging taming process. Once you’ve found a Tarbosaurus you will need to shoot the log out of its mouth, which will be hard because the Tarbosaurus is moving constantly. Afterwards you need to impress it with something cooler, like a sword. Once it has taken the sword in its mouth, it will be rideable, like a Carchodontosaurus. Then you will have to impress the Tarbosaurus by performing as many combos as possible while killing other creatrues. If you manage to impress it and earn its trust, then you have tamed your own sword wielding Tarbosaurus. Now that it is tamed, you can unlock more weapons than just the sword. Which will be located some levels after you got the first weapon. Dossier Wild In its untamed state, the Tarbosaurus showcases its resourcefulness by wielding a log as a makeshift weapon, even for its eye catching size, the Tarbosaurus manages to move at an extremely fast pace. If you encounter one of these in the wild you won't be able to run away, as its speed and its weapon’s range will reach you first… Domesticated If you manage to earn its trust, by giving it something sharper than a simple log. You will have a ferocious mount capable of slicing through most wild creatures with ease. Its extensive range makes the Tarbosaurus perfect for cutting through hordes of enemies Its extensive mobility also makes it a perfect traveling mount, keeping you safe with its deadly attacks and speed, but also incredible stamina. But this consumes a lot of energy, as the Tarbosaurus gets hungry quickly, and needs to feed often. Therefore killing is one of its favorite activities. The Tarbosaurus will make a fine addition to any survivor's arsenal if one can master its unique weapon wielding capabilities. Hopefully you thought that this dinosaur and its design sounded good to you. Thank you for reading this submission! Have a great day 😀!! And please check out Jean Ngyuen (jeananimate) on instagram, he was my inspiration for this design! VOTE FOR THE TARBO!!!!
  3. Nimravides it's a genus of macairodontidae family, small saber teeths but this bigcat had the size of an actual bengal tigre, this creature it's adapted to rocky biomes and mountain ones, this strong cats are smaller than Smilodon brutalis but they are so much stronger, because of the adaptations that this creature have, they can be found in the mountains or the volcano biome, being a mysterious creature. Taming This creature can be tamed in a weird way, you must steal the cubs of a solitary mother in the mountains or volcano (this Is not going to be easy as it sounds) Habilties Once this creature is tamed it can be ridden even without a saddle, not exactly faster than other saddles but with an extraordinary surprise... This bigcat has the same hability of the actual snowleopard it can jump like a ninja or a parkour expert, a circles will apear in your screen in rocks and walls, you will can jump to them but not only one jump, for example in a cave will jump to the wall to the top, to the other wall and all of this without touching the floor, that circle can appear on creatures too, if you jump to it, the creature will deal damage and bounce doing a backflip returning to the original position, but if there Is more than one creature, it can even bounce and jump between them dealing damage to every creature it jumped on, at the same time this jumping hability it's useful yo avoid attacks from bosses and attacking them at the same time. The adaptations of Nimravides also are useful to climb rocky places.
  4. Hi and welcome to the Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris vote page! Here we will persuade you into voting for Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris, first off with how Estemmenosuchus would work! Estemmenosuchus would be a mid-late game tame, with it’s saddle being achieved at level 40 or 45, Estemmenosuchus would get a hydration buff when in contact with water, and when deep underwater it will enter an “Manic Frenzy” state, where it will have increased speed, bite force and bite speed, however, Estemmenosuchus will have counters to it such as being unridable if it gains big levels of torpor and/or not being fed. Now, onto the Dossier! Common name: Estemmeno Species name: Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris Time: Mid Permian Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild Few words other than terrifying can describe Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris, I've had various nightmares about being torn to shreds by these monsters. I can't stress enough just how dangerous an encounter with Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris is, they aren't like any other Estemmenosuchus specimen, they are far different, they're aggressive, strictly carnivorous, and lay eggs, almost as if most of their genetics have been modified heavily. Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris seems to hold a grudge against other therapsids, as in will specifically target them if they're in the same vacinity as the creature, now, I don't know if this is a silly rumor, but I've heard that Estemmenosuchus seem to go insane underwater and begin to bite like crazy! Might just be a myth, but better safe than sorry. Domesticated I don't know of anyone who has been brave enough (and/or dumb enough) to try and attempt taming an Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris specimen, in fact, I don't think anyone has tamed one as of yet, however, I know of many survivors who show an interest in taming Estemmenosuchus, which checks out, their amazing hunting capabilities as well as their increased speed when under pressure can make a formidable tame. Perhaps the way to tame them is to lure them towards a creature it can kill or hates like Moschops or Dimetrodon, and aiding the Estemmenosuchus to kill it, maybe gaining it's trust? I view killing a creature as versatile as moschops may look like a waste for some survivors, but for a creature like Estemmenosuchus? Seems like a fair trade. Images and more coming soon, stay tuned! Passive Ability - "Fear the unknown" If Estemmenosuchus encounters you at night, rather than attacking you it will stare at you, if you are (dumb enough) to near it after this stare, it will trigger a chase sequence, where Estemmenosuchus will follow you rapidly and will only stop if you're outside it's aggro range, or Estemmeno is killed. Attack 1 - Left Mouse hold. If you click simply with left mouse, then Estemmenosuchus will just bite the foe, however, if you hold it, you'll see a meter charge up, as Estemmenosuchus holds up it's mouth and then clamps down it's jaws on the prey, holding them in place while attatched to it. Here we can see an example of it, an Estemmenosuchus infinetly clamping the force of 1000 suns down on a pegomastax, who f'd around and found out
  5. This creature, the Cretoprocirrus, is my suggestion for Aberration. Me and a friend have been working on this concept, and we hope that it does well in the voting. Cretoprocirrus is an extinct rove beetle that evolved during the late cretaceous and was in existence for millions of years during and after that time. Modern day Rove Beetles are able to expel a harmful gas at any possible predators or prey, and it is assumed that the Cretoprocirrus could do the same. Also, scientific studies have shown that the mandibles of some of these prehistoric beetles were lined with zinc and other metals. In Ark, the mutation from the element would have taken these abilities to the extreme. Our concept is that this insect could be used for traversing aberration, stealing rock drake eggs more easily, and possibly even having a support role when fighting bosses. Also, while almost all biomes on Aberration have certain species native to them, the only thing unique to the surface is a few variants of reapers. The Cretoprocirrus would spawn almost exclusively on the surface, making it one of the first creatures to do so. The traits and appearance of this beetle will make it a good fit for Ark Aberration. This Species would move slightly faster then a player, be slightly larger then a Carno(around 12 meters or 40 feet). The glowing blood and gas that it has inside of it would make its veins glow with a bright color (Red, Blue, Green, or Purple) Other then this, this creature would be mostly black with a shiny shell and little color variation between color regions, although it would still have some. It would also have a very small turning radius. Dossier- Species: Cretoprocirrus Venenemfumi Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivorous Temperament: Opportunistic Wild Once dotting the swamps on the surface of Aberration, the Cretoprocirrus Veneneumfumi has since retreated to the smaller caves on the surface after this Ark's collapse. What was once already a human-sized beetle has grown far larger then it should have been capable of, and it has become an elusive but deadly predator on the desolate surface. While it hides out of sight all day because of the scorching heat and radiation, this insect emerges at night to scavenge and hunt injured prey. Like modern day Rove Beetles, the Cretoprocirrus is able to expel a dangerous gas from its abdomen to aid in combat. There are multiple effects of this gas, all depending on the type of creature that the beetle has eaten beforehand. Perhaps even more dangerous than this is that its element-infused mandibles are able destroy all but the strongest of structures and can cause bleeding and diseases. However, the thing I find most interesting about this bug is its lifecycle. While being an extremely rare sight, some survivors have reported seeing adult Cretoprocirrus raid Rock Drake nests and carry their young to the eggs, which the larva will then burrow into and feed on the nutrients inside. Unfortunate people have tried to hatch these eggs and find a smaller version of this sinister threat inside. Once escaping the egg, the beetle then moves to the surface where it begins the rest of it's life. Domesticated While it could be tamed, domesticating a Cretoprocirrus is a dangerous and possibly lethal challenge. The first part of this task is to make it to the surface and a Cretoprocirrus, which is a difficult thing to do on its own. Next, this beast must be forced to panic before it attacks you. As this beetle is terrified of the light due to it living on the surface, seeds from a rare plant that emit light work very effectively. Once weakened, the insect must be fought. They must be damaged to a very specific level of health, so the attempts at using extremely powerful creatures will almost always end in the Cretoprocirrus being to critically injured or dead. Due to this, it is recommended, although dangerous, to fight it on foot. Be careful not to let it attack you because it could cause major damage, as well as helping it regain health faster. Once tamed, this amazing bug is capable of impressive feats. First of all, it's able to use different types of gas that is converted from the type of blood of the creatures it eats. For example, creatures with normal blood help the Cretoprocirrus shoot clouds of healing gas that regenerate wounds on both other creatures and itself. Species with highly acidic blood, like insects, reapers, and other animals, will allow it to expel an acidic spray that can do a lot of damage, to both creatures and structures. There are many abilities the beetle can gain, and that combined with the fact that it can store all gas types at once makes the possibilities endless! In addition to its gas, the Cretoprocirrus can bite through nearly any building, and it can cut through any material with decent efficiency thanks to its Element-infused jaws. Finally, due to maturing inside of a Rock Drake egg, this bug is even able to see through camouflage. These traits make the risk of venturing to tame a Cretoprocirrus well worth the reward. So overall, this beetle would have several unique abilities. Its Bite can harvest all materials with an efficiency about twice as good as a pick, hatchet, or sickle. It can see through camouflaged creatures, making stealing rock drake eggs much easier. It also has multiple gas abilities based on the blood of the creatures it eats, as shown below. Red/Normal-Healing clouds shot from the beetle's mouth that heal all allied tames and players in the cloud by 1% of max health per second. The cloud lasts for 1 minute and has a 2 minute cooldown. The cloud has a large radius and Costs 20% Blood. Green/Acidic-Acidic spray shot from its abdomen that does damage to creatures and buildings that scales with melee damage. Lasts for 15 seconds and has a thirty second cooldown. It also slows creatures down to about half their speed. Costs 10% Blood. Blue-this type of blood activates the gas sprayers in the legs of the beetle, allowing it to rocket into the air and glide down slightly faster then a parachute by using its wings. This creature cannot fly, as to fit with the theme of the map, so my explanation for this is that its body is too heavy for its wings to carry due to element mutation. Has a thirty second cooldown. Costs 12.5% blood. Element-Infused-This type of blood only comes from creatures, or the boss itself in the Rockwell arena during the boss fight, but if the Cretoprocirrus gets a few hits in, it can become twice as power(multiplies all stats by 2) as long as it has some of this blood in it. This constantly drains, but damaging or killing more creature in the arena replenishes it. Costs .5% blood per second. These four abilities can all be stored in the creature at once, and can all be used by switching to them in a new icon on the HUD. This icon will show the percentage of blood storage the beetle has full. Creatures damaged will increase the respective blood types by about .2%-1% per hit depending on size, and creatures killed will increase it by about 1%-5% depending on size. In Addition to these abilities, the normal bite attack costs a bleed that lasts for 5 seconds and drains 1% health per second. Does not work on alphas or bosses for balancing reasons. If used on players, it has a 25% chance of inflicting mega rabies. However, this creature is not breedable. The Cretoprocirrus can also climb walls, although not quickly and it comes at a cost of stamina. Plant Species Z fruit will cause wild Cretoprocirrus to panic and run away. Wild Cretoprocirrus usually spawn in by themselves, but can rarely spawn in groups of two or three on the surface. They drop raw meat, raw prime meat, hide, and a very large amount of chitin. One final ability this creature has is a 50% weight reduction on all meat types and hide. The saddle would be unlocked in the mid 60's to 70's levels and can hold one player. However, the player is able to use tools and weapons when on the saddle. The saddle would be metallic (not tek) and not hide like most saddles in the game. These insects cannot be carried and are only affected by chain bolas and large bear traps. Finally, instead of Rock Drakes, Wild young Cretoprocirrus can emerge instead when the eggs are hatched. They are extremly fast and aggressive, but only about as strong as a raptor. These are untamable, and their chances of hatching instead of a drake are only about 10%. Stats- Health-around 7000 at max level Stamina-Around 2000 at max level Oxygen-around 1000 at max level Food-around 10000 at max level Weight-Around 1200 at max level Melee damage at 100%=around 50 Overall, this creature is about as strong as a rex. Controls- Main attack-bite secondary attack-gas attack C or R3-Swith gas attack normal controls for all other movement and sprinting Well, that's it for the cretoprocirrus. A giant rove beetle fits the vibe of the map well, and I think that it would be a great addition to the game with its abilities, features, and environment. Hopefully this does well with voting and people like this suggestion. I'm not sure if it would be good for PVP or not, and I'm hoping that its balanced enough, but hopefully it can do its intended purposes well if it was added into the game. Any ideas, feedback, or constructive criticism is welcome. We'll see how Cretoprocirrus Venenumfumi does in the vote! 6. Ark desperately needs more birds and currently only has 13. So, behold the Aepyornis! Dossier Species: Aepyornis Maximus Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Wild: Aepyornis is the largest bird I have ever seen in these Arks. These giant beasts are highly territorial and they like to have personal space. Approaching an Aepyornis will provoke it, and it will relentlessly attack with repeated pecks and powerful stomps. Aepyornis swallow rocks to help grind up the plants it eats, but they can also spit out those rocks as projectiles like a sniper rifle, using its keen bird eyes to give it incredible accuracy. When in peaceful scenarios, Aepyornis will sit down and relax. While sitting, the Aepyornis will occasionally preen or dust bathe. Preening seems to make the Aepyornis’s feathers more aerodynamic, allowing increased speed while dust bathing sicks dirt to the Aepyornis’s feathers, acting as a form of armor. Domesticated: Tamed Aepyornis make amazing mounts. They can run extremely fast, especially if you have it preen its feathers first, and their powerful legs allow it to jump incredibly high and far. Aepyornis are also great in combat, being able to peck, stomp, and spit rocks at opponents as well as armor up by dust bathing for extra defense. Sadly, because preening would clean the dirt out of its feathers and dust bathing would ruffle up its feathers, it cant get both the preening and dust bathing benefits at the same time. Size Spawn Info Aepyornis live throughout the fertile region of Aberration and spawn in packs of 2-4. Taming Method To tame an Aepyornis, you must wait for it to sit down, and then approach it. You will want to crouch and have a full ghillie suit to prevent it from aggroing. Once you are close enough, you will get a prompt to “Clean feathers” which will give you a “Aepyornis friend” buff making Aepyornis passive to you and then you can feed the Aepyornis passively. It will continue to sit down and you will have to continue cleaning its feathers to keep the friend buff and to not drop its taming effectiveness. Repeat until tamed. Controls and Abilities Base stats: 700 health. 750 stamina. 150 oxygen. 2000 food. 350 weight. 100% melee damage. 100% movement speed. 500 torpidity. Requires a saddle to ride, which is learned at level 60. Passives: Radiation immune, fall damage immune, 50% weight reduction on stone (to be able to carry lots of ammo for its rock spit). Aepyornis Bleed (passive): Certain attacks apply Aepyornis bleed. Each stack adds 1 damage per second bleed (does actual damage like Deinonychus bleed) and stacks infinitely (example: 2 stacks = 2 damage bleed tick, 100 stacks = 100 damage bleed tick). One stack will dissipate every second. Can be applied to bosses. (Space, A, X) Jump: Incredible jump height and distance that is comparable to Karkinos. (LC, RT, R2) Peck: High attack speed but low damage low AoE attack. Attack speed of 2 attacks per second. Applies one stack of Aepyornis Bleed per hit. Can pick up stones of the ground with 2x the efficiency of a player. Hold (RC, LT, L2) Aim Rock Spit: Replaces (LC, RT, R2) with Rock Spit. Rock Spit: Requires 1 stone. The Aepyornis spits a high velocity rock in the direction you are aiming. The rock does high damage and applies 10 stacks of Aepyornis Bleed. Has a 5 second cooldown (C, RS, RS) Stomp: High damage and AoE attack, but has a 5 second cooldown. Can be used in the air to slam down, dealing extra damage based on how far you fell slamming down. Does not apply Aepyornis Bleed. (X, LB, L1) Sit: The Aepyornis enters Sitting Stance and can’t move. Hitting the button again will cause the Aepyornis to leave Sitting Stance. Sitting Stance Controls: (LC, RT, R2) Preen: The Aepyornis preens its feathers applying the “Smooth Feathers” effect to itself, which gives a 20% movement speed increase for 30 seconds. Counteracts the “Dirt Armor” effect. (RC, LT, L2) Same as normal stance. (C, RS, RS) Dust Bathe: The Aepyornis dust bathes applying the “Dirt Armor” effect to itself, which gives a 50% damage reduction for 30 seconds. Counteracts the “Smooth Feathers” effect. Special Item: Aepyornis Feathers: Once tamed, you can use the radial wheel to collect Aepyornis Feathers from it. Doing so will give you 25 Aepyornis Feathers and collecting has a 10-minute cooldown. The feathers can be used as a substitute for pelt and to make Aepyornis Feather Pillow. Aepyornis Feather Pillow: Cost: 50 Aepyornis Feathers, 25 Hide. Crafted in the inventory of an Aepyornis. Can be placed on a bed or bunk bed to reduce the respawn timer on that bed and allows you to fast travel from that bed without dropping your items. Two pillows can be attached to a bunk bed to further reduce the reduce the respawn timer. I hope you like the idea. Please help it get to the top ten.
