I am a bit of an older gamer, and so pardon me if I am a bit slow.

From your Nubsly,  "As a policy we do not discuss bans in public. If you wish to submit a request for an appeal, you may do so via Reports@studiowildcard.com." As I know as I was on at the time, there was a server wide announcement about Cowboy Joe being banned, with reasons. Why is that even possible? Are you not violating your own policy?

Furthermore, I am not sure what evidence against Cowboy Joe may have warranted a ban, but he is a long time player, level 94, who I have personally witnessed help new players, established players, and taken his game time to demolish many things that would otherwise be cluttering up our PvE server. He even built 3 public Industrial Grills around the map for people to use, hardly the work of a player not interested in the welfare of the community in which he plays.

I am a level 91 player, currently with 2100+ hours on PvE 39, and do my best to help with the community. I, for one, would like to know why it is that in most other games, a player will be given a warning, a temporary ban, or some other penalty for behavior, yet here we have what seems to be a completely Draconian approach to policing the community.

In conclusion, I would ask you to please reconsider this action if at all warranted.

Completely agree with Zorton, it makes no sense to publicly ban a long term player who benefited our community, especially because of another player who was not good for the community complains and then brags about getting another player banned either. It is complete nonsense to even take such action in a pve server where players have been left to police themselves in so many other cases. Our server has been mentioned several times for being one of the best pve servers to play on with many long term players who help make the server better all the time too. Do what is right and give Joe his account back. I heard the player who got him banned say that 6-7 tribes have left the server due to other players, yet I also know that a few of those tribes were the racist, grieving, thieving, troll tribes that found out we were not going to let them ruin our server or our community. That is a win for the community, game, and server not a negative.

Cowboy Joe is an integral part of server 39 and it's players.   The success of ARK up until now has been all about community and the successful integration of players in a teamwork environment.  Cowboy Joe has helped all of us at one time or another as well as many new players.  You can see above that other veterans have huge respect for Joe and the things he has done for our server community.  

Joe has kept the server clean of racist, homophobes, and any other trolls that have come to interrupt our enjoyable gameplay.  

It is ironic that the very people that complained about Joe are now trolling the server with their homophobic and racist comments as well as kiting Giga's in an attempt to attack Joe's base (yes people have screen shots for you if needed).  These are the types of players that plague ARK servers and are now plaguing us because one of the founding members of our community that helped control it is gone.

Banning Joe has left a huge hole in the heart of the server and we would ask that you kindly consider unbanning him as we need him back.

Joe adds to ARK what not many can do...a sense of security as well as pride in a fantastic game that is meant to be enjoyable and fosters interaction amongst its' players.
