Note for players regarding Ascension (please open terminal/tribute before ascending)   02/04/18

With the latest server update on PC (v276.493), if you're going to attempt ascension, before doing so please make sure you've opened a supply crate/transmitter/obelisk/ basically anything terminal/tribute inventories. It's a temp workaround to characters being lost when ascending whilst we're investigating character issues further.

  1. Dino TLC: Feedback! Suggestions?

Flying carriers should have the option to carry dinos when nobody is ridding and you should be able to order them to pick dinos up by putting them on passive and ordering them to "attack my target" and also dino paths should be made somehow so that you can make them wonder on a path or have a restricted range from their original location so they don't run away. I know these are more gameplay then visual changes but I still think they should be added.
  2. Hosting questions

So I play on ps4 and I want to start a private server with my friend. I've heard that if you quit your server it it just saves and pauses like singleplaye. Just wondering if this is true? If so I also would want to know if I can make him an admin. Also if he can become an admin will he be able to run my server from his ps4 without me in it. Because we want to play together but sometimes it's hard find time.
  3. can't find Megalosaurus

I'll give both these a try thanks!
  4. can't find Megalosaurus

I've been searching for megalosaurus on the island for almost a year with no luck and scorched earth for a couple months with no luck I've never even seen one! And yes I know they hang out in caves and i play on singleplayer ps4. any suggestions?
  5. Preserving bin + salt not working

I know that it hasn't worked for a while but still to my knowledge they never told us they were gonna stop letting us use salt in a preserving bin so in my opinion it's a glitch. A glitch they haven't fixed in over a year at that!
  6. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who is having this issue. You go out and get some wyvern eggs ready them to hatch grab some milk put it in a preserving bin grab your salt and guess what for some reason you can't put your salt in the bin! I haven't been able to find a clear answer on how to fix this. If anyone knows please share. If not then get the attention of the devs because they need to fix this! Killing alphas used to be a pretty good method of getting milk but now it just spoils before you even get to use it. Same goes for knocking out female's most the milk just spoils before you get a chance to use it.
  7. Scary stink bombs

there should be a way to scare off dinos it just makes sense. even big ones are always afraid of something so if not stink bombs then something else to scare them. Any ideas?
  8. Scary stink bombs

Who else thinks we need stink bombs to scare away at least small to medium size dinos?
  9. Xbox one X still has a host tether

    I agree with that!
  10. Xbox one X still has a host tether

Ark doesn't run that well to begin with so if you expect your Xbox to process 2 places at once then your out of luck. It has trouble running normally so if you double that then your probably In for a pretty "fun" time! I do agree that we should have more range but I understand why we are restricted as well.
  11. Every time I find an alpha mosa it either runs away the moment it sees me. Runs away the moment I attack it or hits me then runs away. Not only do they always just run away. Half the time the despawn as well. Anybody have a solution to this retarded problem! Edit: finally just found and killed one by getting it stuck in some rocks. But I just don't think it should be necessary to get it stuck in order to properly kill it.
