  1. I know that's the damage with no dom levels, I tried it with it locked and unlocked. I'll uncheck consider wild stats. wait stats or steps? if I leave it checked and change it to 8 should that work too? i didnt even notice that setting.
  2. @cad it doesn't like my damage stats for some reason. here's my multipliers and its inventory. wouldn't let do inventory screenshot cause it was to big. but i double checked the numbers in here.
  3. oh awesome. thanks a bunch! I think I got a really good melee and health stat. very excited
  4. is the yutyranus in the program yet? it wasn't last I checked. and I play unofficial settings so I can't just use something like dododex.
  5. @cad do you know how wild tamed affinity and wild tamed add multipliers work? and their default values. I want to check some yutrannus stats and thought it would be easier to do the calculations myself then bug you for when they're getting added to the program haha
  6. @cad when can we expect an update including the dinos from last patch?
  7. Yes bronto hp got ninja nerfed. That's pretty cool. The other way I breed is using one male with multiple females, more chances to get the top stat passed along. Then if I end up hatching 3 females with that top stat, I can breed those 3 with a different male who has a different top stat. Again giving me more chances to get both top stats in an offspring. That way it only takes me 2 cycles to get the 2, or more, top stats into an offspring. Where with bad luck it could take you maybe 4 to 7 cycles of trying to breed the top pair and extra male together. and with a max of 48 hours downtime on a female on official. that could take forever. Doing multiple at a time results in more offspring, and more wasted ones with bad stats (but I can kill those off as soon as I see they have bad stats, and save my food.) So IMO it's a great way to be conservative and save yourself time, but it doesn't really seem like a process for a program to automate, to many variables.
  8. Yes the stats part of it seems the most complicated to me. And things like is it better to breed a pair each with 2 different top stats, or a pair with 1 overlapping top stat and 1 different one each. But I guess that falls into the lucky vs conservative options.
  9. @cad also dropping this to only 4 stats, most times you only care about 4 or so stats. and 4 generations drops it all the way to 65k. definitely doable for a computer.
  10. awesome, thanks for the lengthy reply. I actually am a computer engineer, so I will definitely look into this. could be a cool out of work hobby.
  11. @cad can you help me understand how the breeding plan works? how to use it? It seems like it's showing you the best pair to breed but is that as far as it goes? Is the intent to breed that pair, see the offspring, add it to the library and then see what the plan tab says is the best pair now? In a perfect world I imagine it being almost like a tree, showing you what stat you're trying to breed together and what each generation dino would look like. eventually showing you what your perfect dino would be and how many generations it'll take. I haven't really thought of the logistics or if it's realistic but would be cool imo.
  12. @cad any know issues with calculating tamed equus? 2 of the 4 I tamed would not extract even directly after taming (with no domestic levels). second, I can't extract values from in game UI on a dino. Game open in first screen and program open in second. known issue? to be honest I only tried about twice a while ago. will give it another go later tonight.
