Throwing your pet off your shoulder in your base and having them bounce off the wall and land in inconvenient locations has always been annoying to me. A way to have shoulder pets up and out of the way when not using them would be a nice QOL feature. (One that does not involve putting them in cages.) Having them simply sit on the shoulders of Training Dummies like they do on the players seems like an easy solution, but it would also be nice to be able to sit them down on chairs, benches, and other furniture. Have an option on the R radial menu that pops up when you interact with those items while you have a shoulder pet mounted on your player's shoulders, or when the item had a pet mounted on it. Having the option to Place, Retrieve and also Swap pets would be useful. A more advanced option would be to possibly let the pets act as turrets while mounted on training dummies and furniture. Dimorphodons bite any enemy that gets too close, Mesopithecus throwing feces. Maybe even Ichthyornis that return to perch after hunting?
