Wow, I did not have any intention of creating an issue for the content in this post. As doc’d in earlier posts, consoles are effected by the save issue so I thought it would be understood the game is played on Xbox/PS5 as there is a long standing history of this issue that has not been resolved. I was merely looking for an answer to those that have continued to play ASA w/out going through all of the steps to try to determine the answer - single player. Clearly this is a major issue that still has yet to be resolved for console players.

Of course not. Why try only to lose any progress and spend time downloading the game again.

Has this issue been resolved? Haven’t played since February. Checking to see if this has been remedied.

I’ve had zero fatal errors recently on ASA. I only play single player on Xbox Series X. But I’ve had zero errors because I gave up on ASA after 2 months of not being able to save my gameplay. Valheim is a great game. Check it out. ASA hasn’t changed a bit I see.

Has the ASA single player save issue been resolved w/out trying to do the ridiculous attempts to try and save the game that don’t work?

The only thing with all the bugs, lack of being able to save progress to the game, I regret purchasing this. ASE was far superior. It’s been 2 months with no save game fix. Bye.

No offense, but I have no intention on playing ASA until at such time the saving feature is fixed. It is ludicrous to make the player responsible for trying to figure out a way to save game progress and wonder whether it will even work or not. I would also not refer any person to purchase this game. In fact, I would do the opposite and say go spend money on a different game you will enjoy.

Playing on Xbox x. 2 days ago it quit saving the game. Once it randomly placed me in the sky as I fell to my death when I opened the game. I looked up at my Argy as I fell to my death. I cannot remember a time one quit a game in a free fall to their death, but whatever. It quit saving progress over the last 2 days. I got it to save by doing a Dino wipe. But then not only did it not save my game, when I stopped to take a break when I opened the game my single player game was just gone. So I restarted the console and the save game was back. Played another hour and the same thing happened again. Save game is not there. My opinion of the game has dropped from a fav game to one I’m considering just dumping and wishing I wouldn’t have paid for the game.

Been playing ASA for a few weeks now on series x Xbox. All of a sudden in the last 2 days the game will not save. Did the kill random dinos to try to fix and now the single player saved game is just gone. I see the saved game if I go into the game files, but when the game is loaded it tries to start a new game and the single player game just isn’t there. What’s the deal? This is horrible!
