Hello experts. I guess I'm trying to figure out this for hours now. I wanted to play ARK Survival Evolved with my girlfriend. We live in the same house so I thought a LAN connection will be super simple but oh boy. I learned I need to create a server and followed these steps in this video; www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1dcWkSzGd4&t= I did the steps up to portforwarding part and did that too. This is my .BAT file info start ShooterGameServer.exe "TheIsland?SessionName=gokraptor?MaxPlayers=10?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.0?DifficultyOffset=1.0?AltSaveDirectoryName=MapName?QueryPort=27015?Port=7777?listen" -NoBattlEye -NoTransferFromFiltering -activeevent=none -UseVivox -noundermeshkilling -epiconly Server is visible for both of us in the unoffical section but when we try to join we get a timeout error. I also tried it by turning the windows defender wall off but result is the same. My pc does not have antivirus program. I also tried starting a single player mode and typing the console " open localhost:27015" but it also did not work for me. I would gladly take advices. If my info is not enough you can ask whatever you need. Thank you. I guess you noticed but yea. We both are on epic games.
