  1. Meet the raptor on steroids(literally) : Dromaeosaurus Mortemus the poisonous raptor. The Dromaeosaurus was a dinosaur that lived in the late cretaceous period about 76-78 million years ago. It belonged to the dromaeosauride family of dinosaurs and was related to the raptor and Deinonychus. In real life it was only half the size of a adult man but Dromaeosaurus Mortemus will be a bit larger than a carno and a bit smaller than a allo. Dromaeosaurus roughly translates to "running lizard" and Mortemus roughly translates to "death-bringing" so Dromaeosaurus Mortemus roughly translates to "running lizard death-bringing" . Edit : just wanted to mention that Dromaeosaurus mortemus is a sub species of the actual Dromaeosaurus not the irl Dromaeosaurus because of ark lore I guess Dossier: Often confused with the Deinonychus from a far because of similar appearances. The Dromaeosaurus Mortemus is quite large compared to its close relatives the utahraptor and the deinonychus making it much more dangerous and fearsome. Don't let the appearance of another normal carnivore fool you though for the Dromaeosaurus has a trick up its sleeve... well alot actually. Like any other member of the dromaeosauride family it to uses its large hooked claw as a dangerous weapon to bleed and weaken its prey and hides in the feathers on its tail are bony appendages emerging from its skin that act as a sort of "quills" to transmit a neurotoxin that if injected causes tiredness, weakness and a toxic chemical that causes you to fall asleep. I have no idea what this chemical is as the Dromaeosaurus seems to produce it on its own by eating large amounts of narcoberries and somehow killing and harvesting biotoxin from the cnidaria ! This suggests that the Dromaeosaurus is indeed a good swimmer and can kill cnidaria perhaps by using the "quills" on its tail. I've also seen it impale small creatures using these "quills" and more horrifyingly humans right off their mounts. Whatever the reason I advise to not engage with a Dromaeosaurus as even though they hunt alone or with a mate they are still highly dangerous and should be avoided in the wild. Domesticated : I thought it would be almost impossible to befriend a wild Dromaeosaurus since they are so fearsome and dangerous. But nonetheless I've seen some tribes actually gain one's trust and when I asked around about how they did it well... they didn't really tell me saying that its a secret and that they don't really trust me with the knowledge but they did tell me something that went along the lines of " it's such a sadistic method that you wished you wouldn't know it ". Whatever the method a tamed Dromaeosaurus is very useful for tribes because of its ability to impale enemy tribe members right off a rex ! The only creature that can save you is a giganotosaurus or preferably stegosaurus, the former because the Dromaeosaurus can't reach the tribe member off the back and the latter because its plates protect the tribe member. The Dromaeosaurus is also really useful for knocking creatures out because if narcoberries and biotoxin are left for it to eat, it will start to produce this neurotoxin in its so called "quills" and this can be harvested to make a stronger toxicant that can be made into a albeit expensive but much stronger tranquilliser darts that I have dubbed the neuro darts. Either that or you can just avoid the cost and inject it from the quills of a Dromaeosaurus beware though these quills can kill the preferred target. Taming : To tame a Dromaeosaurus you need to do the following steps in order : 1. Find the Dromaeosaurus ( on land close to where cnidaria spawn, redwoods, forests or near rivers. ) 2. Look closely at the barbs or quills on the end its tail, check If they are dripping green or blue drops of neurotoxin. 3. If it isn't sneak up to the dromaeo and throw either narcoberries or biotoxin( NOT NARCOTICS they don't work) then RUN. 4. A red bar will appear( NOT THE TAMING BAR DONT GET CONFUSED ) then keep repeating the said process above until the bar fills up( narcoberries fill less, biotoxin fills more) 5. Then the quills would have filled up and now simple... Dump everything you have on to a creature and then fill your self with as much narcoberries or biotoxin as possible( the more the narcoberries or biotoxin the better taming effectiveness) and present your naked Bob body to the dromaeo and let it eat you. 6. But atleast now you have a dromaeo to bully your tribe members with and impale raptors onto your quills letting them slowly bleed to death for the pain that they caused you in early game, just knock creatures out with or at the very least make better darts out of. Perks : 1. high health 2. Average stamina 3. Can impale creatures upto the size of a carno( nothing bigger than that unfortunately cause that would be too op ) 4. Can impale players off even a rex ! ( not a stego and giga because that'd be also kinda op ) 5. Good weight 6. Good swimmer and oxygen 7. Cannot be stunlocked by cnidaria 8. You can put narcoberries and biotoxin in its inventory to make the quills do torpor or use it to make better tranquilliser darts( they won't have change on display other than the darts becoming blue and the amount of torpor they deal ). 9. Fear roar that It does by opening the feathers that look like eyes on its arms and intimidating other wild creatures upto size of an allo. 10. A debuff called intimiditation display that it can inflict on other creatures that makes causes ild and tamed creatures damage reduction by 30% 11. Also causes bleeding by using its hook claw attack Countermeasures : 1. Fear roar effect last for 10 secs but cooldown is for 20 secs 2. Can get Fear roared by other creatures like yutyrannus 3. Intimidation display has a 15 sec cooldown. 4. No weight reductions 5. Just a bit faster than a rex 6. The better darts are very expensive 7. The impaling attack has a 7 secs cooldown 8. Hook claw attack has a 5 sec cooldown If you have ideas on how to make it better feel free to tell them and I need help from someone for art work and which map to send the vote onto because I want the Chad raptor to find its true environment and home.
  2. Oops didn't realise that you said that already also I hope you get your touch back then . I've been practicing art nowadays but I'm only good at pencil sketches.
  3. I just need the art. AI is good sometimes but not in art I'm guessing that's why I want a person to provide it for me. Edit : Do you perhaps know someone ?
  4. I really want to submit in the creature votes but for that I need someone who can provide art and need to make 6 posts.
  5. So just a general question from the ark community. Although I have some ideas on my mind as well.
  6. Hey Draconic how good is the art you submit ? I might be interested. Edit: I'm kinda new here so I don't know how I managed to do make such a large empty space. Forgive me
