Maip Dossier Common Name- Maip Species Name- Maip macrothorax Time- Late Cretaceous Diet- Carnivore Temperament- Aggressive Seclusive Wild One walks through the jungles here and thinks all is well until they see in the trees behind them a pair of red eyes suddenly disappear. Then seconds later it reappears and rips you apart, that's Maip. Maip is the terror here and is what many people call the Night Stalker which suits it. It hunts exclusively at night which it is practically impossible to see because of its dark colors and extreme speed. The only visible parts of Maip are its eyes. It has bright red eyes and when one has seen them they seem to lose stamina faster making it easier for Maip to catch them. Domesticated When you tame the Night Stalker it is the perfect nighttime assassin. Many bounty hunters use a Maip to hunt down their targets at night and rip them apart. One thing we get to see in tamed Maip is what they do during the day, they lay around still dangerous just not as fast and lethal. Still Maip night or day is an extremely dangerous carnivore and tribes should invest in domesticating a few. Taming Ideas #1 I think that you should have to find Maip eggs in the caves around the center, specifically the ones around jungles and raise the babies in dark areas so no light around it while raising one. #2 Another idea I think you should try is to trap it around light at night to frighten it which will make it weaker to tranq attacks to then knock it out. Maip Body Design Maip’s most distinguished feature are its claws which will be long and thick. Its body will be somalian to most reconstructions of Maip and other Megaraptorans, with some spines running along its whole body. It causes bleed damage on top of it and would shred through most things. Day Time Attributes -Regular Speed -Regular Attack -Regular Bleed This would just be regular stats with no buffs or debuffs unlike Megalo which is weaker in the day. I still want Maip to be useful during the day too. Night Time Buff- Passive Buff +Speed +Attack +Bleed Damage R Key- Midnight Cloak- Turns invisible at night, eyes still visible. You can control this ability similar to Desmodus at night also. Alt Click- Fear Induced Eyes- It’s red eyes if seen cause increased stamina drain and increased damage taken only works at night. This isn’t my art it is just a similar color pallet to what i would like for Maip I really would like to hear feedback from everyone.
