Eogyrinus - The Lightpet Assistant This large Amphibian is a little bit longer than a Sarcosuchus and about as powerful as an Allosaurus. Similar to the Sarco, it is fast in the water but slower on the land, but unlike the sarco it has more purpose on land than you might expect. This amphibian in this malfunctioning ARK has gained the ability to store electricity from glowbugs within itself which can be used offensively, defensively and also for recharging your glowpets when domesticated. It will be a Passive Tame with a charge battery but only when protective gear (Hazmat suit) is worn to protect the survivor from the electricity. This should make the exploration of the lower levels a little easier but not before going through the challenge of grinding resources for a hazmat suit. It also provides more use for the underused charge battery. Temperament: Neutral (Will become enraged if attacked or attempted tame without hazmat suit) Utility: The Eogyrinus will gain charge from eating Glowbugs which can be used to recharge glow pets when out exploring. That’ll keep the Nameless at bay for longer. Charge can run out so be sure to keep them nearby. Very Fast Swimmer but slowish on land. Mountable requiring saddle. (Two people can ride at a time!) The Bite attack from the Eogyrinus will be able to stun targets when charged. While charged, the Eogyrinus will be shocking to the touch and will throw you off your mount! While there is a cooldown for this ability you can wear a Hazmat Suit to mitigate it. Eogyrinus is immune to being shocked by Cnidaria, Electrophorus and shocking tranquilizer darts; this protects the rider from being knocked off the saddle. Attacks: Bite (Stuns the target similar to Baryonyx Tail Swing. Only has secondary effects when charged) Tail Whip (Knocks targets away but deals less damage than the bite) Hiss (Deals no damage, just a roar type move) Charge Pulse (Light Pets within its radius will be recharged. Can only be used while charged) Taming Method: The Eogyrinus is a passive tame requiring a charge battery. However you cannot tame it without a Hazmat suit. If you try passive taming without the protective gear, you will receive a nasty shock and the Eogyrinus will begin to attack you.
