  1. I own/breed slime molds such as Physarum Polycephalum So slime molds is a misnomer... They are not molds they are an amoeboid like creature. They even grow flagellas when submerged in water. They gets the name molds because the reproduce in a similar fashion as fungi (forming a mushroom like stalk which produces spore (like) vessels for the baby amoebas. These stalks are often carried off by ants which eat the stalks. Which is how I think they should be breed ants having a percentage chance to drop spores which can be grown into slime molds. Slimes are actually really intelligent despite not having any neurons. They can solve mazes by laying down a mucus which they can use chemotaxis to determine where it has been. They kind of try every possible combination of paths until they reach the end of the maze... And then rearrange itself in the most efficient way. Which is why I think they would be great for something like lock picking/ pin cracking or even disabling tek (In the 2 images above researcher in Tokyo made a petri dish map of Tokyo. The placed food at all of the subway stations. And the placed physarum Polycephalum at Tokyo station and watched it spread. The next day it had rearranged itself in a more efficient way than Tokyo's actual subway system) I also think it would be cool to see if you feed them element shards or dust or be in radiation their mucus would change and become a mutagen farm. In lab study's they've found that they do not like light heat or salt because they are mostly water and would dehydrate. However they can gain resistances to these things over time so maybe a leveling system like the moschops /theri to gain resistances (The center slime mold has learned to be resistant to the salt block Infront of it... But slimes can also share their adaptations by joining with other slimes) Another interesting feature of the slime molds is they can survive with out water for up to 2 years by creating a cyst around itself and harden on the outside til water is available is why I think it should be a shoulder pet it could act as an armor by hardening... Could act as a radiation suit (given that some microorganisms can eat radiation) or a scuba suit ( given that it can grow flagellas it could increase swim speeds) I think that it would also be cool if attacks a player it can act as hand cuffs Slime molds such as Physarum Polycephalum are also excellent hunters mostly eating plants and fungus so they could gather the various mushroom types https://youtu.be/1PIFbS-wQVE while they are not extinct slime molds have been around for 600 million years so definitely prehistoric origins (Source: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/brainless-slime-molds/#:~:text=Compared with most organisms%2C slime,or even simple nervous systems. )
  2. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleolithic_dog Shepherd - when equipped with a saddle you can pet Canis Lupus Domesticus it will sit down and can act as a mobile "leash" for wandering dinos. Search and Tame - When equipped with a saddle with a sled that can be used to move knocked out tames equal to Argentina carrying capabilities. Canis Lupus Domesticus can be given the dermis of dinos and set to "Search and Tame" seek out max level dinos matching the dermis's in it's inventory when it finds one it will circle the dino to keep threats at bay Search and Hunt - When equipped with a saddle Canis Lupus Domesticus can be given the dermis of dinos and set to "Search and Hunt" Canis Lupus Domesticus will then begin hunting wild dinos that match the dermis of creatures in its inventory. Search and Rescue- when equipped with a saddle adds a sled behind Canis Lupus Domesticus and can be given the dermis's your tames. When set to "Search and Rescue" Canis Lupus Domesticus will search for that tame that the dermis belongs to. Canis Lupus Domesticus will return with the tame in tow. Search and Retrieve- When set to "Search and Retrieve" Canis Lupus Domesticus will collect near by items, drops, and bags, Spawning - Canis Lupus Domesticus generally spawn in location where Ovis are found. May even be found protecting the Ovis from natural predators. Pack bonus- Canis Lupus Domesticus recieve a pack bonus when they are with other Canis Lupus Domesticus and dire wolves Taming -Passive Tame- crouch or maybe sit emote near the Canis Lupus Domesticus. Canis Lupus Domesticus will become interested in the survivor. Initially circling the survivor, eventually coming up to you. Give it kibble or pet it depending on what it wants. It will back away and circle again. This repeats until tamed when tamed it will sit down in front of you. Taming one and it will be a Survivors Best Friend

  5. Physarum Polycephalum is probably your best one for making a dossier
  6. Seeing as they are a single celled "microorganism" without a skeletal structure i assume would be difficult to record any extinct / prehistoric species. But if you take a look at this link https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/brainless-slime-molds/#:~:text=Compared with most organisms%2C slime,or even simple nervous systems. It does say that they evolved 600 million years ago so under the rules of the creature submission they would fall under the prehistoric category Slime mold is the ideal creature for Aberration so i will help anyway I can
  7. I own/breed slime molds I have some ideas on the creature First off slime molds is a misnomer... Which is how I think they should be breed ant having a percentage chance to drop spores which can be grown into slime molds. Slimes are actually really intelligent despite not having any neurons. They can solve mazes by laying down a mucus which they can use chemotaxis to determine where it has been. They kind of try every possible combination of paths until they reach the end of the maze... And then rearrange itself in the most efficient way. Which is why I think they would be great for something like lock picking/ pin cracking or even disabling tek I also think it would be cool to see if you feed them element shards or dust or be in radiation their mucus would change and become a mutagen farm. The do not have acidic blood. In lab study's they've found that they do not like light heat or salt because they are mostly water and would dehydrate. However they can gain resistances to these things over time so maybe a leveling system like the moschops /theri to gain resistances I also enjoy your living trap idea. How bout making it a shoulder pet that can trap wild dinos, enemy dinos and even enemy players acting as handcuffs that attack raiders if they were to raid you in your sleep. I think it should be able to immobilize anything but the down side the immobilized creature would attack it Humans would have to have another dino or human attack them to remove it. Or die. Another interesting feature of the slime molds is they can survive with out water for up to 2 years by creating a cyst around itself and harden on the outside til water is available is why I think it should be a shoulder pet it could act as an armor by hardening... Could act as a radiation suit (given that some microorganisms can eat radiation) or a scuba suit ( given that it can grow flagellas it could increase swim speeds)
  8. I'd like to see this as a shoulder pet capable of being worn like extra armor/hp maybe an active camo feature, or act as a scuba suit Slime molds IRL can figure out mazes by leaving a chemical trail behind them to know where they've been. So maybe an ability to act as tracker for dinos (adding an item slime that goes in / on a dinos allows you to track them) Slime molds IRL also have the abilitiy to memorize paths despite no brain/neurons Slime molds aren't actually mold or fungus. they're amoebas... Even though they form mushroom like structures and reproduce with spores They tend to eat molds and fungi, but oats are definitely their favorite. IRL They also have an ability called chemotaxis which allows them to sense chemicals. If they become dehydrated they can form a cyst like structure around themselves and can hibernate for up to 2 years like this. If they become rehydrated they will continue life If they become submerged in water they will grow flagellas too allowing them to swim to get to land or shallow water. So maybe a swimming boost As someone who owns/ breeds slime molds I will always vote for this... I gotta say I don't see it on the Ragnarok map... But aberration seems like best fit
