  1. Hello survivors! I am happy to present the Dsungaripterus, a majestic pterosaur that will take your aerial adventures to new heights in the world of ARK: Survival Evolved. I thought it would be a great addition to Ark, because there aren't many pterosaur species in the game yet. I hope you enjoy my creature submission. Wild: The Dsungaripterus is a medium-sized pterosaur found in the wild. With its distinctive crest on its head and long wings, it is an impressive sight in the sky. The Dsungaripterus primarily inhabits areas near water, where it feeds on fish. Its long beak allows it to catch fish without the need to land, giving it a significant advantage over other predators in the area. Patience is key when approaching a Dsungaripterus as it is skittish and quick to take flight, making it challenging to get close for a confrontation. However, caution is advised, as when it feels threatened, the Dsungaripterus will react fiercely and attack with its sharp claws. It can also emit loud vocalizations to intimidate and deter potential threats. Domesticated: Once tamed, the Dsungaripterus becomes a valuable ally in the world of Ark. With its powerful wings, it can carry players on its back and swiftly transport them over long distances, both over land and water. Additionally, the tamed Dsungaripterus possesses unique abilities. During battles, it can utilize its diving attack, swooping down from great heights to strike enemies with strength and precision. Its manoeuvrability in the air makes it difficult for enemies to land hits on it. The Dsungaripterus can also emit loud vocalizations, presenting an imposing presence that can deter potential enemies. The Dsungaripterus can become a valuable addition to any survivor venturing into the perils of the Arks. Abilities: [Passive] – Dive: During battles, it can utilize its diving attack, swooping down from great heights to strike enemies with strength and precision, inflicting considerable damage and leaving enemies disoriented. [Mouse 1] – Bite: Its beak is sharp and strong, well-adapted for tearing into the flesh of its prey. When engaging in combat, it can swiftly close in on adversaries, clamping down with its powerful jaws, and delivering a devastating bite. [Mouse 2] – Grab: Dsungaripterus possesses strong claws on its limbs, perfectly adapted for grasping prey during hunting. With these gripping claws, it can cling to its enemies with great dexterity. [Crouch] – Scream: When the Dsungaripterus feels threatened, it can emit loud vocalizations. This scream serves to deter enemies, creating a frightening effect that can disorient and confuse potential adversaries. It can also be used to immobilize and paralyze small prey, giving the Dsungaripterus an advantage while hunting. It's important to note that this ability is not lethal, but it can be sufficient to keep them at a distance. How to tame Dsungaripterus: Taming a Dsungaripterus can be a significant challenge due to its rapid flight response and skittish nature. These prehistoric flying reptiles have a natural instinct to avoid danger and can quickly take flight at the slightest sign of threat. To approach them closely without startling them, taming a Dsungaripterus requires an exceptionally clever approach and a great deal of patience. An effective strategy for taming a Dsungaripterus involves using bait. Given their dependence on fish as a food source, offering fresh fish as bait can help pique their interest. The scent of the bait can attract them and spark their curiosity, gradually getting them accustomed to the presence of humans. Tamers must proceed with caution and slowly build trust with the Dsungaripterus. Regularly providing food and displaying kindness can help create a bond and eventually reduce the animal's fear. It is crucial to simulate their natural habitat and living conditions as closely as possible, so they feel comfortable and secure in captivity.
