im attempting to create some code that can check the status of ip address's to specified ark servers in real time. battlemetrics is 20+ minute updates and thats the difference between life and death on the ark for you and possibly your babies or dinos. battlemetrics provides the ip and port but it blocks me. is there a public way to do this? even just pinging the server doesnt seem to work.

i know asa is being announced it is going to be crossplay/crossprogression but is it truly? my actual question is are official servers going to be crossplay? i have xbox and pc friends and i need to know which version i need to buy. if its crossplay then ill buy pc so i can play with my xbox friends as well.
