what they mean is wildcards design for it has strayed super far from the original design  and not in a good way like the Fasalo or the Rhynio. this is my opinion but i think they should redo the design for it.

I respect your opinion and is nice to see the opinion of other people being done in a respectfully way, i thank you for that. I only saw the promo picture of this creature i don't know how he will looks like in the end or his abilities, however the complaining of the people doesn't make sense. One of the things they stated in the submitions is that the creature may change from his original concept. I may be wrong but what i understand from that, is that it will be added in a way that work better on the game, they making the creature 100% identical or almost identical, or at least with several aspects the comunity suggested for it ir a bonus! The maim core of the votes is for the players to have a creature they like but is not on the game yet added, and the suggestion for the abilities and behaviour are inspiration for the developers. Everybody who voted for Yi Ling knew this, because of that, complaining about this doesn't make sense, if the creature change for better of for worse, it was stated that it could be changed, so it doesn't make sense.

Also some of the aspects suggested in creature submissions would not work well on the game, and some of them would work better for situations especifically or in another creatures. What i'm saying, i'm saying with respect, but the majority of the players are not professional in the subject, they have to understand that! (And there is no problem in this). And the game is something serious they cannot make 100% fan service, it has to be something that work well in a professional game, with the game type, mechanics and alot of other things to considerate that needs to be funtional or balanced properly in a game.

They have the right to say if they like it or not but complaining about this doesn't make sense because of that, don't you agree?

Pretty bad excuse to justify undoing the hard work of mod creators.

Having a different taste is not undoing the work of other people, in fact i respect the job of everybody and if they have fun doing this and is not breaking any rule, i even want to incetivate them to make more for the people who like it, even trought is not my taste. However the opposite is also true, just like i respect your opinion and everybody who shares the same opinion and taste, you also have to respect the opinions and tastes of people who has a different opinion and taste than yours.

And suggestions like this, gives the people who prefer when a creature is being done by the official company instead of indie groups a chance of having the creature being add to the game in the way they like it.

I hope i didn't sound bad, my intentions are peacefully, i wish you a good day!

Why does yi qi look like the rock drake in you all’s release of it, that’s great we really needed a twin to the already rock drake on aberration, if you devs are smart and have any type of brain, you would add Maevia eureka to the game like you did with the carcharadontasaurus, that jumping spider had been so many top 10’s and this was closest one yet but if y’all aren’t adding it in keep me updated because I just won’t buy the game until it is, because these creature votes seem very off, how does the one of the most wanted creatures, most peoples number 1 Maevia eureka not make in? At this point I’m questioning who you all have checking these votes and counting them, everyone else that feels the same way boycott Ark until we get Maevia Eureka, don’t buy ark ascended, that’s the way you get them to listen, you have to stop the cash flow for companies to listen, best regards to you wild card, drop the ball for me.

Winning is good, but is important to know how to lose too, please be a good sport.

  4. For example, when we transfer a creature on the obelisk, their items including the saddle they are wearing don't transfer together with them.
Of course all the items on their inventory should not be transfered together with them, but at least the saddle they are wearing specificaly would be interesting to transfer together with them, and they appearing with their saddle already equiped when downloaded (the way they was when upload).

Imo the better solution is to let all creatures utilize speed stat and have value that reflects how fast it moves, be it wild or tamed, flyer or glider or land creatures, movement speed is an interesting stat in a game. Even our character can run at crazy speed and doesn't seem to have limit, that's what I like to see in the game, so we can see all creatures have speed reflected by its real stat value. All fixed speed is boring, so in the wild we can all see same creatures running/fly at different speed.

Having flyers at fixed speed was relevant since they were limited at that time, but now we have many travel methods, from teleportation, gliding, flying, jumping, etc, all fast, now look at land dinoes, they're not viable to be used as transport. Let every creature have its own speed reflected by its real stat value.

  6.  Very interesting, chameleons are very exotic creatures and aberration is know for being exotic, i think it would fit well on the green area of the map.

I hope if he is added, he has some cammouflage ability, becomes invisible too or maybe  he is just never attacked by anything, unless he attackes them first (except players and ridden creatures), the dossier stating that he changes the colours of his body to fit his surroudings, so he could be always of the colour of what he is touching, instead of having unique colours, then survivors with keen eyes being able to spot him, but most creatures not. So methaphoiricaly he would be camouflaged but in reality he would be visible by players.

Also he could be able to launch his tongue and eat the creature instantly like when barionix or pelagornis kills something, farming big quantities of quitin and dealing increased damage against arthopodes.

And if he is big, as a wild creature he being able to launch his tonge and trap the survivor in his mout like the carniflora from genesis two, then spiting the player with full torpour and not attacking him for a while after the player wakes up.
And when tamed he being able to grapple the players of their mounts, holding then still on the ground for a while or bringing them close like if the player was imobilized by the whip of eqqus or the web of bloodstalker.

"when adding a creature they can make the way they want, but at least the most iconic traits of each creature needs to be preserved."

I understand where you're coming from, but last I checked Fasolasuchus don't swim in the sand, A one-centimeter bug couldnt impregnate and lift dinosaurs Rex sized (rhynio), and I'm pretty certain Sinomacrops wasn't strong enough to use as a hang glider, yet all those ideas work. Our Kunpengopterus isn't a large pterosaur, barely being larger than a Ptera. Ark is known for taking creative liberties and changing creatures in a way that makes them alien but still have their self-identity, and that's the choice we made when designing our Monkeydactylus. I appreciate the feedback.

I appreciate you being polite when dealing with this. Remember, we are all on the same side, the point is us working together for the benefits of everybody and hoping that people has fun in the end.

     --
The points you brought makes sense and i changed my mind, i no longer see this as a problem for this creature when being added in ark, and to tell the truth i'm actualy starting to like the ideas you proposed for him. I will vote for him, and good look for kungeropterus!

  8.  I like the ideas, the only things that i want different is the taming method, i want it to be standarth knockout and feed, also i want it to be more or less the same size of the real chasmosaurus, and that his light serves for illumination too, that it has two charge light modes for illumination, the first is the charge light working like the charge light of shoulder creatures iluminating an area of effect around him and the second being an beam of light in a conic format in front of him, like a flashlight.

  9. I will vote for ceratosaurus but only if is guaranted that he will not be exclusive for aberration, that he will be for aberration but other maps too.

    --
My idea for ceratosaurus would be making him be able to use his horn to tople turtles or certain creatures that looks heavy (Even if they are not) to the side or upside down and let them without being able to attack for a certain period of time, like 30 seconds maybe and taking increased damage while topled, in wich then they will get up after the time they had spent topled end, in this case the ones that can be riden, the survivor would be unmounted when ceratossaurus do that. Then the dossier could mention him using his horns to perfect this strategy for hunt leaving the belly of the prey being completely shown and easy to attack, but the survivors using it for battle.

This ability could work on carbonemis, stegosaurus, akilosaurus, kentrosaurus, diplodocus, daedon, trike, morelatops, and looks alike ones... (In case of stegosaurus survivors won't unmount when stegosaurus has the plate that prevent unmoounting, but will still be topled and unable to do anything for 30 seconds)

When the creature is topled, he cannot be topled again for a whole minute, so the ceratosaurus cannot tople lock them.

They can also mention him using his horns to lift rocks to farm rare mushrooms and flowers wich he uses on rare ocasions when he is sick, but can be used to help survivors gets those items from rocks, cristals, obsidians, while also farming very low quantities of rock, cristal and obsidian. (for example he hit a rock with his horn and farm 80 rare mushroom but only 5 rocks, same situation for cristal and obsidian)

They can also mention that when eating rare flowers or mushrooms, he create the item antidote in his inventory in large quantities, that can be used by the survivor. The dossier could be like, after some time he regurgitates the flower, mushroom, but in the form of antidote.

Taming should be standarth knockout and feed, however he could also use his horns to make dances to attract mates like real world birds, for example when the player already owns one, he can use it to taming another of the opposite gender, making the one he is using to dance to attrack the other, when doing so, he could perform dancing moves that in game would work like when the player is fishing and has to press the appropriated keys, this should be easy and when done right the other ceratosaurus is instantly tamed with max effectiveness. For this to work better, tamed ceatosaurus will only be attacked by ceratosaurus of the same gender, or will be completely ignored by both genders of wild ceratosaurus if it has mate boost. In this case he will be able to be tamed in both ways.

His stats should be 375 health/400 health, 33/35 damage and be able to wear a saddle.

His size should be more or less the size of the real ceratosaurus.

Tell me if you guys think my idea is too much exagerated and would not work well on the game, because even i think some of those things could be too much.

  10.
I appreciate you taking the time to help, and i don't want to sound uncool but I don't like this idea.

If they add kunpengopterus he will have to be small and not rideable and be a glider only if the real version was a glider, if the real one was a flying creature he needs to be a fying creature, when adding a creature they can make the way they want, but at least the most iconic traits of each creature needs to be preserved.
There are bigger pterossaurus, so adding one that can be ridden would make more sense if it was one of the ones that was big on the real life too, and use the ones that are small like kunpengopterus for uses related with shoulder creatures.

Also i only see pterossaurus in Aberration if is small ones, big ones doesn't suit the map.

  11.  My suggestion is because sometimes killing the fish with the spear and instatly grabing him is troubling combat inside water when we get attacked by a creature, we become unable to attack mid combat (because is holding the fish) and have to release the fish to attack with the spear again, and if we acidentaly kill another fish, we grab the fish again and have to repeat the process. Also sometimes we just want to kill and harvest the fish immediately.

So adding an option in the options menu for people to choose if they want to hold fish after killing it with a spear or not will help for people who wants this mechanic to be kept and people who wants it disabled.
