  1. In Desperate Need of Help! Ridiculous Bugs Stop Me From PLAYING THE GAME I PAID! Now, I've had this game since 2017 - but I've never played official. I always messed about on Single Player, and today, I found out why I should never have touched official ARK servers. After recently making a few friends on ARK, I've found the game more enjoyable, and I joined an official server (TheIsland47), and met somebody who was helping me grind the initial levels. After grinding through caves, we transferred over to Ragnarok (Ragnarok880) to steal some Wyvern eggs and get some milk for growing. Once I had collected about 5 eggs, and he 3, we made our way back, (I was also carrying a Cryopodded Ice Wyvern for my friend, which belonged to him and was on my hot-bar). I spawned in my bed, to find myself LOCKED in my room. To preface, I made myself a small cubby for my bed, fenced off by a door, which then opening it revealed the rest of my WOODEN house (the fact that it's wood is important here). I had my things on me, but no food or water and have been locked inside since; for probably around 3 hours now. I have all the eggs I collected on me, along with my friend's Wyvern, and multiple tames unprotected outside my WOODEN house. I couldn't use my fast-travel to locate to somewhere else, but even if I did - I would lose everything I gained that day because I would not be able to enter my OWN house. My name is Angelita, and the tribe I'm a part of, (which consists of only me because I've been on the server for two days) is called Little Angels. The writing on MY locked door is that of when you approach another server-mate's home who is offline - the familiar yellow text explaining how long you have until your structure had decayed from being offline, and whom it belongs to (in this case it was: Little Angels - MY TRIBE), along with the blue text beneath it that reads: "OFFLINE RAID DAMAGE PROTECTED". (Or something of the like - you'd think I'd know it by now). Speaking to multiple people in my server, I got a mixed response. One or two told me it wasn't unusual for things like that to happen, and it would work again after 20 hours of waiting (but why should such a loyal and dedicated fan-base/player-base have to even consider that as a normality in their games?). Some told me they've been having similar issues with being disconnected 15 times in only a few hours, or kicked out mid-flight, leaving their hard-earned tames in the sky and their bodies on the ground for somebody to drag into the water and steal their valuables, some said they didn't even believe the building belonged to me because it sounded so ridiculous, and some said that in order for this to be fixed you'd have to SUBMIT A TICKET and wait SEVEN DAYS for a response. S E V E N D A Y S!!!! A WEEK! Now, the important thing about having a wooden structure is that it decays after SEVEN DAYS of offline activity. I was low-level when I made this base, and was going to update it once I had done the cave-runs with my friend. If I have to wait seven days for a response, then everything I worked for, for two days consistently, will be destroyed! Because the game thinks I'm offline, but I'm right there STARING AT IT! I was also informed that some of the ARK team are extremely rude, and notable un-bothered if you are affected in game by something that could easily be fixed, if they actually cared about their PAYING player-base (namely joebl0w). I can only imagine what somebody who had been playing for three years would feel in my position. I dread to think. If this issue isn't solved before the seven days are up, I will be most disappointed and angry; and not just me, but everybody else that are having issues in their games and on their servers (which are notably 9999 ping as the norm) - as I'm sure this one forum post probably stands for more than just my own experiences. What do we learn from this? Play single-player...or better yet, don't buy a game that doesn't allow you to use it's primary feature - ONLINE GAMEPLAY.
