My take on the dev's non-response to this major issue is, they have no idea how to fix it, or they do and a fix would be very difficult involving a coordinated effort with Microsoft devs.

"Somebody" reliable told me that practically the only thing the Devs look at, currently, is the bug reports. When a report gets a few pages long it becomes an annoying niggle (can't say that in chat!).

Ok people, there is no point wanging on about this in general discussions. This link is where the DEVs look...

We need a "pile-on" on this bug report. So, get everyone you know with this problem to reply to it or ain't, not, nothing going to happen!

This. I don't experience the same problem on any other games on game pass. It might have "Something" to do with Xbox filters but it must be down to WCs application of filter compatibility.

I feel like the Windows/Xbox PC version is the ugly sister version. There are incompatibility issues with it that have not been addressed since launch. I am curious to see how soon this is fixed. Until then, I will have to play with my characters on the Steam platform.

It is Both a single player and multiplayer, open world, sand box (quite literally sometimes) that allows you to build an existence on an "ARK" of which there are many. You will evolve from a zero skilled beach Bob, trying not to die, to an elite, scientifically endowed super human tinkering with the DNA of creatures prehistoric and mythical. And now you can do it bug free, in beautiful graphics on consoles or PC while benefiting from off the peg content that enhances your experience but, keeps the playing method fair.

It is news to be that the Loot contents are defined on creation of the crate and not when it's opened. In other games, the act of opening defines some aspects like the quality of loot.

I'll have you know that there are plenty of Tapejara, Pulmonoscorpius, and many other saddle BPs in my sand covered storage cupboards calling you a liar JB!

You have 2 options, 1) Embrace your plus sized figure as you are should or 2) Make some scissors.

Your characters are linked to your game providers identity. So if you log in with Steam, it will be linked to that and the same with xbox etc. You can't transfer a character from Xbox to Steam or similar. I'm not sure what Identity your "Cracked" version is aligned to but, you probably won't be able to transfer that character to Steam. However, with Official rates at 3 x you can level to 70 in one, fun packed, evening. Find a few notes and the levels will fly by. 

(Looks at hours in game since ASE, looks at cost of ASE + Season Pass, calculates cost per hour compared to... inspects notes... all my other games, winds neck in)

ASA SE surely does kick butt! Got a toe hold in a "Hard" area. 3 steps forward, two steps back. When you finally do get to a metal node area, it's full of angry biters.

Could you ever do this? Seem to recall this was not a supported feature while I played ASE SE. Now we don't need pipes WC should just use the same code but make it specific to Waterwell deployments.

There are more bugs than this for the Gama Pass version. You will also find that you are restricted in what you can type, not just in chat but, with Tame Naming, Signs and even the search criteria for servers! If you type THE and many more combinations it will be replaced with ***. I'm switching to the Steam version.

Launch was delayed, then delayed again, then patched, patched again because mods. At the second day of "availability"; still not enough servers but game appears to be as stable as The Island. Which is not that stable.

Fairly certain the objective of restricting Cryo deployment was not to generate lots of mini bases around POIs. If this can be switched off for Non Official servers then there is no good reason not to do the same for Official PVE.

I've been looking at the SE servers being slammed and reminded that this is always the case with a new map, and I was thinking, I'd be prepared to pay for unchallenged access to a server rather than waste my time spamming join. In fact, I'd be more prepared to do this rather than pay for cosmetics or exclusive tames. Maybe there could be affiliate servers that are part of the official cluster and on the same rates but has a fixed membership. In other words, I'd like to pay to play.

I did try that solution, but since couldn't find on my PS5 a recently played list of other players. Yet, i have just found my server. It was a tedious process of trying a server and noting down its number. I tried in total 101 servers... and at 102nd i finally hit the jackpot.
 

Anyway if this happens at every update, i must say it looks to me as really bad implemention, forcing a player to write down in which servers he plays.

For my future memory.... 5334 😄

Used to be that you could use Battlemetrics to search your player name but, as of looking just now, ASA does not support displaying player names.

However, you are not alone. I have lost track of servers too many times and have a terrible memory.

One thing you could try, is there a "recently played with" section in your PS5 friends page? Maybe you can glean some details from that?
