Host/Local Issue? I lose all data at times

While waiting for Ascended, I am brushing up on the island via the Host/Local non dedicated. It is running on my xbox locally.

Twice now, i have had an issue where I lose all of my structures and dinos and game play, I spawn back in at the same level but nothing is there.

First time I do not know what happened exactly.

This last time, I was in the cave on Carno Island with a mount and died.  The screen froze and would not bring up the map with the beds. Just the You Died screen.

I exited from ark all together, got back in and everything was gone.  (I did not hit  the disk image with the x on it) I just went back in like any other time.

Why is this happening???

I spam the admin command save world to avoid this. You probably should too. On ps4 it's l1 r1 triangle square on pause menu. Then type saveworld (all one word) then run command.

Button inputs should be similar

I also backnup my saves on a USB storage device once or twice a week
