Disappointed

Ark has been a great game, even given all the bugs. You have killed evolved that many played and loved the game, just to make more profit off ascended. IF any of you developers have a soul and care about what you have created go back to your basics and remember what Ark was about. Your going to kill this community and the love of the game all together. Bring back evolved official servers. Go back to the reason you created the game, before the player made you successful. Just bring back the beginning the island and the DC maps.

Sadly they won't bring back any SE server online since they seems to be actually flushing them so they can host Ascended. But i'm joining your disapointment, since they give access to PC players to the server saves before closure, but not to the console server saves. The consoles servers can't be downloaded even thought they stated all saves could be accessible ... instead they made a business so people would have to pay 20€ monthly to access the console saves ...

They're not going to go back. It's all still there for unofficial, at least - some companies would fully remove the old game and force you to buy the new. Doesn't make it nice or right, but it could be worse (and given they need the server space for ASA, it's not like it was done for no reason). They're also not going to just give up on content just because you don't like it.
