Ark Ascended < Starfield Discussion

Not looking to pick fights or upset anyone but I'm legit concerned with the upcoming release of Starfield and with how large of a game it is I will loose any remaining interest/focus on Ark. Don't get me wrong, I've loved this game since early access on Xbox but it's very stale now and I need something else to fill in.
My main worry is that even after we finally get Ark Ascended my interests in the game will be gone. This Unreal refresh really needed to come out sooner OR maybe delay 3 years in hopes enough time has passed to have forgotten the game enough and dive back in somehow long term.
Until Starfield I didn't feel like Ark had any competition (mostly because the other releases meant very little to me).

What are you thoughts?

Starfield could be a great game, but it hasn't even come out yet, so who knows. It also looks more like an RPG than a survival game.
