Guanlong

Guanlong | Prehistoric Kingdom Wiki | Fandom

Information:
Common Name: Guanlong
Species: Guanlong shouwang
Diet: Carnivore
Time: Late Jurassic
Temperament: Aggressive
Description: Guanlongs are medium sized bipedal creatures that have colorful feathers and elaborate designs on the crests at the top of their heads. The color of the crests will be the opposite color(on the color wheel) to Color Region 1.
Abilities: The Guanlong’s main ability is its creature control, however, unlike the Noglin the control is more as if the creature is tamed and on Attack My Target, you cannot ride, breed, or access the inventory of controlled creatures. The duration is based on a stat called Crest Size, this stat can not be leveled but can be bred and mutated, the size of the crest can be visually seen on the Guanlong’s model. The bigger the crest of a Guanlong the longer creatures can be controlled. There is a cooldown in between controls on a creature, and a single creature cannot be controlled by 2 or more Guanlongs. The creature can not be controlled if it has any Imprint Affinity(as much as 1% would work, though if the affinity is 0% the creature would still be controlled).
Taming: Not unlike Wyverns, Rock Dakes, Magmasaurs, and Deinonychus, to tame a Guanlong you must steal a wild egg and raise it yourself. They do not have any special food and will just eat meat, but you must have a Guanlong Crest on your helmet, otherwise they will be aggressive. These Guanlong Crests can be retrieved from dead Guanlongs, though due to their delicacy, a Guanlong’s crest may not always be intact enough to be used, and taking the crest off of a helmet will break the crest, and when the helmet breaks the crest cannot be recovered.
Spawn Regions:
Forests
Ridable: Yes
Saddle Level: 39
Crafted In: Inventory
Rider Weaponry: No
Breedable: Yes
Dossier Description(subject to change):
Wild: Guanlong shouwang is a very strange beast, the crest characteristic of the Guanlong genus seems to turn creatures on their packs here.. Roars and flashes of the crests makes the creatures turn on their own packs and herds, it seems creatures imprinted on the alpha can’t be controlled.
Domesticated: Oddly enough, the one thing that keeps creatures from turning on their masters is the only way to tame them, similar to Draconic species and Deinonychus, you must steal the egg of a nesting G. shouwang and raise it yourself. Once fully grown they have an instinct to use their crests as well as their wild cousins.
