Dryptosaurus arcus

Time: Late Cretaceous

Diet: Carnivore

Temperament: Aggressive

In short, Dryptosaurus used to be called "Laelaps" named after a mythical hound that Zeus gifted someone. Laelaps meaning "hurricane" and being from Zeus inspired this Dryptosaurus to have bioelectrical capabilities. This specifically fits Ragnaroks whole theme, referencing myths and deities and all that.

Wild:

Found in the high mountainous regions of the Ark, Dryptosaurus are oddly always found in twin pairs, dashing and leaping through the crags and snow like wild dogs. Although, like the direwolves of the tundra they have a similarly vicious temperament, and will pursue any prey relentlessly. The quills lining their bodies can charge with electricity, that they generate naturally over time, augmenting their claw and tail shot attacks with the ability to knock prey unconscious.

Domesticated:

Once tamed, the Dryptosaurus becomes an incredible travelling mount. Able to scale walls and pin smaller creatures with their rending claws, as well as leap great distances to close gaps.  Their bioelectricty comes in handy for knocking out would-be foes, but also has a use against the survivors of the Ark. With enough concurrent electrified attacks, the Dryptosaurus can temporarily interrupt short-circuit and disable Tek. Finally, the Dryptosaurus can empty it's bioelectrical reserves into pure adrenaline, trading their abilities for a burst of enhanced strength, speed, and stamina, and durability. This only lasts a very limited time though, and must wait for the Dryptosaurus to charge again before it can be used.

Spawning and Taming:

The Dryptosaurus should be spawning up in the highest peaks of Ragnarok, mostly in the snow biome, but always in pairs, as reference to the Leaping Laelaps painting. The taming method is relatively simple, the Dryptosaurus has an electrical reserve much like the Morellatop's water, it needs to have used up electricity as attacks or in exchange for the adrenaline boost first. Only when recharging does the torpor actually effect it, as it is at its weakest.
