History: The Balearic Islands cave goat, was a species of the subfamily Caprinae which lived on the islands of Majorca and Menorca until its extinction around 5,000 years ago.The fossil record of Myotragus on the Balearic Islands extends over 5 million years back to the early Pliocene on Majorca, where it presumably arrived after the Messinian Salinity Crisis, represented by a sequence of chronospecies ancestral to M. balearicus.
Rideable: No
Breedable: Yes
Saddle: A double sided water skin pack similar to the Hyaenodon meat pack
Ability: Once tamed, when left to wonder in an open field of berries and fiber the Cave Goat will produce a strong source of protein milk commonly used for raising baby dinosaurs. This milk, when consumed by humans, also counter balances the effects of heat stroke temporarily. Making the Cave Goat a must have on ones journeys through the unforgiving desert.
How to tame: To tame this skittish herbivore you must earn its trust by laying a trail of it's favorite food to follow (dropping crops and it walking with you a specific distance like the Tek Stryder) but do not let it get spooked by other dinosaurs or it will make a quick exit up the nearest rocky cliff.
