Suggestion

Hi ! This a repost of my previous suggestion for a new creature in ARK : Uintatherium arietem !
A creature both able in combat and farming, with the powerful ability to damage any structure, that will feel at ease in the semi-deserts of Scorched Earth

Species: Uintatherium arietem

Time: Early Eocene

Diet: Herbivorous

Temperament: Short-Tempered

Wild:

Somewhat looking like a rhino, and with similar character, Uinthatherium arietem is probably the most short-tempered creature on the island. This large herbivore will attack any carnivore in sight and will even trample small peaceful herbivores that would come and invade is personal space, delivering powerful headbutts and goring tusks bites.

Domesticated:

When domesticated, Uintatherium can prove useful both in combat and for farming. Its ramming ability allows it to stun any creature it runs into as well as damaging any type of structures, especially doors and gates. Such ability also allows it to gather obsidian efficiently, further helped by seemingly not feeling the weight of that material. This powerful ram combined with its resilience makes it a very helpful and versatile mount. Taming this creature might prove difficult though, as one must let it ram into a shield in order to knock it out, which, if not done properly, can lead to a gruesome end.

Attacks :

- LMB : Headbutt. Harvests flint and obsidian efficiently. Can damage up to metal structure. Deals a small amount of torpor.

- RMB : Charging attack. Charges for a limited time with moderate control of direction. Deals important amount of damage and torpor. Increased damage against structures. Can damage all tiers and will immediately destroy anything lower or equal to stone. Stuns creatures.

- C : Tusk/Bite attack. Allow for berry and corpse gathering.

- Ctrl : Roar. Gives a speed buff to itself and nearby allies.

Taming :

Immune to normal means of torpor. With shield in hand, wait until it notices you. Stay at a certain distance to allow it to charge. Let it ram into you while blocking with the shield. This will increase it’s torpor. The better the shield the more the torpor dealt. Once it’s knocked out feed it like any herbivore. Probably superior kibble.

Abilities :

- Torpor and stun immune, small bullet resistance.

- Weight reduction for obsidian and flint and really good at harvesting them.

- Roar to gain a speed boost.

- Saddle has a second seat facing the back of the creature.

...And again reposting my idea for this guy:

Uintatherium – The Ultimate Beast of Burden

Species: Uintatherium gravisporto

Time: Middle Eocene

Diet: Herbivore

Temperament: Defensive

Wild

In the wild, Uintatherium can typically be found wandering grasslands and forested areas alone or in pairs.  Though generally peaceful, it will fight back viciously if provoked and is fully capable of holding its own against mid-sized carnivores like Carnotaurus.

Domesticated

As any survivor quickly learns, many creatures excel at harvesting particular resources.  Mammoths are great for lumber.  Ankylosaurus and Doedicurus break rocks for metal and stone, respectively.  Stegosaurus gather berries like none other.  Any of the assorted theropods can butcher corpses with ease, and a Sabertooth is a tanner’s best friend.  Uintatherium is different.  Once tamed, Uintatherium seems able to harvest literally anything, albeit not especially effectively.  The knobby ossicones on its head allow it to pulverize trees, while its saber-like teeth allow it to shred smaller plants and even carcasses.  Additionally, it can utilize its large mass and powerful legs to shatter stones underfoot.  I suppose you could call it the quintessential jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none when it comes to gathering resources.  It can carry tremendous loads, and transport them over large distances at moderate speed.  All of these traits combine to make Uintatherium an exceptional beast of burden, which tribes will often maximize by equipping them with large saddlebags.

The basic idea is for it to sort of be like a primitive, significantly-less-OP version of the Tek Stryder with harvesting attachments.  It would have the ability to harvest literally everything, but not gather anything specific as efficiently as the resource-dedicated harvesters like Ankylosaurus, Doedicurus, or Mammoths.  This would make it unique in the game, because there is no creature with the ability to harvest every type of resource node by default.  The Mantis comes close in that regard, but requires tools to do so and even then it requires switching/removing them depending on the node.

Bullet List:

Headbutt harvests trees, i.e. thatch, wood, and the various saps where applicable

Bite harvests small plants, i.e. berries, fiber, silk, rare flowers, and corpses, i.e. meats, hide, chitin, organic polymer

Stomp harvests mineral nodes, i.e. stone, flint, metal, sand, crystal, obsidian, gems, oil, etc.

50% weight reduction on all non-crafted materials when equipped with saddle

Good base weight (700-ish)

Runs moderately fast (slightly slower than an Equus) with very low stamina drain.

These wild battle rams are found in any water source in Scorched earth. They travel in packs up to 10-20 members.

To tame an Wild ox: Find the alpha(It has an red glow around it) Paint your armor red, This will make all the ox in the herd aggressive and they will try to ram into you. Find the alpha and dodge its rams. Then it will go for another ram, this time its much faster. The amount rams you need to dodge to tame an ox depends on the level. To make this easier, kill all the other ox in the herd then start taming.

An Ox Saddle is made in an smithy and takes 250 hide, 15 metal ingots/scrap metal ingots , 20 wood and 50 fiber.
