Lost rex dragon fight random dmg taken after fight till it died minutes later

We just did the dragon fight and my tribe mate lost his x rex. It lost all of its hp after we fiinshed the fight had over 100k health and a decent saddle ruffle 100 armor and it just sat there dieing but nothing was around or anything is there anyway we can get his x rex back??
