Jakapil Kaniukura

HellBoyRok95

Suggestion

Jakapil Kaniukura is a clade belonging to the same groups as Thyreophora (Ankylosaurus and stegosaurus animal groups). I think this recent discovered dinosaurs would be a cool addition to the game. So here's what i suggest for this creature.

Their's couple thing you must know about this creature.

Wild Behaviour:

The Jakapil live in the desert area only. its diet is only eating bugs (small ones due to its size). If a threat, large as a human, get closer to it, a jackapil will get into an osteoderms ball for defense purposes. While in the stance defense, it is quite hard to find it due to their camouflage environnements adaptability, which means, it literally mimick small stone desert to hide from large predator.

Taming:

Due to its nature instinct behaviour, the Jakapil will go insta boulder defense once a large predator get closer to it, but if you're able to consume a fria curry+ bug repellant, you might have the chance to have the attention on this creature. It like Chitin, but a dung beetle as a sacrifice is giving a giant cup cake to this little wild pet.

Domesticated:

This creature has a great benefit for explorer who dares to adventuring into dangerous caves infested of giants bug on foot. Carring this pet companion on an explorer's shoulder  provide a lot of protection against arthropleura acid spit and insect melee damage like the Mantis. In warfare, depending in which situation the survivor get into the battlefield, the Jakapil will get in defense stance to protect his master. Its defense can debuff against many lethal weapons.

Abilities:

carring the jackapil on the survivor shoulders, it can:

- Tamed Jakapil decrease arthropleura acid spit damage, Imprinted Jackapil doubles the defense against it(if you know how much % it should get, let me know in the comments).

- Provide decreased damage protection (if you know how much % it should get, let me know in the comments) on the head and the back of the survivor against primitive/fabricated pistols, Primitive/fabricated sniper, assault rifles, Lethal flame weapon(flame thrower, flame arrow) and explosive weapon.

-Killing bugs creatures with melee weapon, while carring the Jakapil on the survivor shoulders, it activate the bug killer buff.

The Jaka is a small armored thyreophoran distantly related to the Ankylosaurus.

Wild:  In the wild they stick with each other in groups of up to 5 wandering and eating berries. They are neutral until provoke and will latch on to a target and drain the blood slowing the target. While not very damaging themselves, the large amounts of spilled blood may attract large carnivores already in the area.

Taming:  To tame this little beast you will need to let it latch on to you where it will then eat berries, vegetables, or kibble out of your pockets.

Tamed:  Once tamed this adorable little critter will curl up in your base providing an insulation bonus and and emotional (xp) boost to survivors in range. It is also pretty good at defending a base as it will latch on to an enemy and drain their blood. I have also seen some survivors have it latch on to their backs as a sort of armor due to its ability to flatten itself and spread out its back’s surface area. However, it will constantly consume berries when in their armor state.

Can use as shield- hold square on ps4/5
Fire proof
50% weight reduction
Maybe 50% visibility to wild tames when crouched w on shoulder?

Health similar to a metal shield. Imprinted ones take 30% less damage when used by imprinter so good mutated ones would be an awesome heal-able shield. Its obvious the pvp implementation
Pve would be to help steal wyvern eggs and such and actually survive the forth coming onslaught or atleast help w fires and the breath meaning help w alphas as well
