Wild: Coelophysis can be found roaming across the ARK in large groups. These creatures primarily specialize in hunting the smallest creatures, but when the opportunity presents itself they will hunt larger creatures when injured. Depending on the size of the pack will increase how bold the group is. They are quick to flee when faced with adversity. The Coelophysis has also been observed to exhibit cannibalistic behavior on the smallest members of the group. Rarely an individual can be seen with a crest and show dominant behavior.
Domesticated: Although they are small and have a light frame, Coelophysis makes an excellent creature for hunting pest. Due to their powerful drive they can pounce and tear off critters that rest on the shoulders of survivors. They also are effective when working together and gain increased strength in the presence of their kin. They also can swarm and hang onto larger creatures. They also don't make bad companions!
Combat: Although they are not strong they have increased damage against the smallest creatures on the ARK and gain a pack boost granting damage resistance. Their greatest utility is the ability to remove and snatch shoulder mounts! They can also swarm and attach onto small to mid sized creatures to inflict damage.
Other uses: The creatures vary in size and the smaller specimens can be equipped as a shoulder mount. They make excellent guard animals against creatures like dilophosaurus, compies, and insects. In numbers they can repel other kinds of wildlife and can make a nuisance against attackers!
