After extraneous testing I have discovered that you put in place a nerf on Astrocetus taming effectiveness. No matter how you knock out an Astrocetus or what food you use (even if it's the best kibble in the game), you ALWAYS lose a huge chunk of taming effectiveness so as to make a perfect tame virtually impossible. There might be legitimate reasons for having this nerf on official PVP, but in PVE and on unofficial servers I see no such justifications. Please for sake of everyone else in the Ark community at least enable full effectiveness in PVE and/or allow server owners to toggle full taming effectiveness. Nothing is more demoralizing to a PVE player than watching the taming effectiveness plummet like a rock on a tame they worked so hard to knock out.

Toggling Astrocetus Taming Effectiveness
