lets think about this for one second, not even from a player stand point. but from a developers stand point, wouldn't you save more money like you are trying to do by conserving your man hours by not supporting legacy servers with support. but save not only that but the cost of having the servers up and running. you are wanting more players to play official server more anyway. what is the easiest cost effective way? pull the plug on legacy. rip the bandage off, you're already making it so hackers greifers, and CoC violators free rain. mainly by making money off your game by selling dinos for real life money. (which still happens in official but no where near as often since yall have GMs looking for players that do that.) just my thought as someone who has played both legacy, official, and heavily moded clusters. just pull the plug W/C yall already having major issues with so many maps being released and gensis is still unstable as raptor..... think of the money u can put into stability patches and bug fixes with the cost of legacy server up-keep. food for thought devs, food for thought....
