So we log in today, my Mrs is on Windows and downloads straight to 285.106 in Steam, my Steam on Linux is still sitting at 284.105, so we cannot play the same server as we could last week? rasterman Posted November 16, 2018 Share Posted November 16, 2018 It was fixed like 2 days ago.. and then they just now broke it again updating servers to 287.100 but it seems Linux at least has been left behind and not updated. They do these updates and fixes so the game works better for the Windows platform but breaks Ark for everyone else and its really bad business. We all paid the same for the game and it should be tested and developed at the same rate. If you're going to launch a patch, said patch should be tested and work on all platforms before releasee or you just don't do it. This is now going on two weeks that Mac / Linux users have not been able to play (with the exception of the one day that fixed it only to break it the next day with the new patch) and wee get no response from Wildcard or the support team as to why this continues to happen. Yes its a new game and there are bugs but it seems to me this is way beyond a few glitches and bugs this is more like beta testing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
