My crops are not growing while offline. Is there a server setting for this?

I Know this topic is old and even the last comment is over 1 month old but i also have this problem and cannot find any solution to this. I hate to have my toon logged in over night and the game running on my pc just so i heave a healthy ammount of plants when i decide to play the game. So if anybody knows why this problem exists and how to fix it, i am more then willing to listen.
