thejoker00
Anyone carried out any testing on the dino count slider? I had mine at 0.6 and after a few hours had a dino count of 282k. Although it looks great, the guys on my server were a bit annoyed as they couldn't leave their bases! I turned it down to 0.2 and when I checked this morning (about 8 hours after restart) it was at 134k. Does it really need to be set at something like 0.01 to get the count about 20k? thejoker00
That's what I'm thinking that maybe a regular dino wipe is in order. I used to do one every 3 days or so, but it looks like it may be a daily occurrence. I'll give it a shot on 0.01 and see where we go.
thejoker00
Just an update: Dino count on 0.6 resulted in 280k dinos over approximately 7 hours. Dino count of 0.2 resulted in 134k dinos over approximately 7 hours. Dino count of 0.01 resulted in 400 dinos over approximately 2 hours. Dino count of 0.075 resulted in 4800 dinos over approximately 2 hours. Dino count of 0.095 resulted in 59k dinos over approximately 7 hours. Currently set dino count to 0.15. Hoping for around 80k dinos. What I have found is that flying around the island the map looks bare, like, absolutely empty. Land and wait for about 2 minutes and there's all the dinos walking about.
