UnevolvedGaming
Welcome to Unevolved Gaming, today we are going to show you how to build the fishing boat used in our Pachyrhinosaurus video. First of all we want to thank everyone for all the support on our video's Previous changes to raft building are reverted in xbox patch 759.2 which makes building this fishing boat once again possible in both official and unofficial servers. To build this raft we are going to need some structures, Feel free to pause the video here to write them down or check the description below. 1 x Wooden raft/Motorboat 26 x Stone foundations 13 x Thatch ceilings 9 x Wooden pillars 30 x stone walls 1 x Stone dinosaur gateway 1 x Reinforced wooden Dinosaur gate 2 x Stone fence foundations 2 x Sloped stone wall right 2 x Sloped stone wall left 2 x Stone sloped ceiling 4 x Stone ceiling 4 x Stone doorframe 4 x Reinforced wooden door 3 x Wooden ramp ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Optional 2 x Wooden chair 2 x Preserving bin 2 x Simple bed 2 x Ballista turret 2 x Storage box Step 1 Lowering foundations on your raft Stand behind the rudder of the raft and select a wooden pillar from your hotbar. Press the y button on your controller to enter the drive position. This enables you to place the pillar centered on the front of the raft. Exit the drive position and snap a foundation to the pillar, this will allready lower your first foundation. To lower the foundations deeper in to the raft demolish the pillar and place a new pillar in the center of the foundation. When you snap a new foundation to the pillar it will be lowered a little bit deeper. Demolish the foundation with the pillar and the pillar it self and place a new pillar in the center of the new foundation. Repeat these steps untill your raft is visible through the foundation. Once your foundation is lowered to the right depth simply snap 8 more foundations to the lowered one to enclose the whole raft. Make sure your raft is visible trough the foundations otherwise you won't be able to drive the raft. If foundations won't lower on placement you can cycle through it's snap points by using the y or the select button on your controller. Step 2 Building the Fish trap. Drive the raft to deeper water and place a pillar in the center of a foundation on the back side of the raft where the rudder is located. Jump in to the water and place 3 more pillars under the one you allready placed. Snap a thatch ceiling to the pillar and extend it backworths by placing two thatch ceilings behind it. The thatch ceilings will allow you to place foundations underneath them. The foundations make it possible to snap 2 more thatch ceilings to the allready placed ones. Place foundations under these thatch ceilings so you have a row of 4 foundations. Attach 4 more ceilings on both sides and place foundations underneath them. Once all foundations have been placed we can demolish all the pillars and thatch ceilings. We have now created a floating floor that is 3 wide and 4 long behind the raft. We can now start to close off our fish trap. Place 2 walls on both the left and right side on the back of the platform to create a 2 wide gap. Put 2 stone fence foundations on the edge of the platform between the walls to make the stone dinosaur gateway snap in the correct position. Place the Reinforced Dinosaur Gate and the remaining walls to close off the fish trap completely. Make sure to use the right snap points when placing the walls that connect the raft to the trap. Step 3 Fishing huts and interior By attaching 2 wooden ramps to the back of the raft we create easy acces to both the raft and the fish trap. It also allows us to park the Pachyrhinosaurus on the raft after luring fish in the fish trap. 1 more wooden ramp is placed on the front of the raft to allow acces from both sides. To build a simple fishing hut on the right side of the raft we placed 2 stone doorframes, 1 facing the fish trap and 1 facing the center of the raft. Wall in the rest of the building with normal and sloped walls and close off this structure completly by placing normal and sloped ceilings on top of the building. The sloped ceiling will give you acces to weaponry like the ballista turret placed on top of the building and wil save on building space before reaching the structure limit of 88 on the raft Mirror this fishing hut on the other side of the raft to allow 2 players to have a fishing spot at the same time. Inside both fishing huts we placed a bed, a storage box and a preserving bin to store loot and bait. A wooden chair is placed behind the door facing the fish trap to allow you to fish from the inside of the building. This raft can of course be build in wood, stone and metal and will also work on top of a motor boat. Swim the Pachyrhinosaurus in to the fishing boat through the dinosaur gateway. Use the ramps to park the it in the center of the raft and you are ready to go fishing. It is best to use this fishing boat on river deltas to stay clear of any unwanted Leedsichthys and land animals attracted by the Pachyrhinosaurus's chemical pheromones. If you dont know how to use the Pachyrhinosaurus for fishing you can watch our video explaining you everything you need to know about the Pachyrhinosaurus. That concludes our tutorial about the fishing boat We are looking forward to see pictures of your fishing trips and improvements of the fishing boat on our twitter page! @UnevolvedGaming
