Map making questions

I've been working on a map for Ark during the past few weeks, and I don't know a whole lot about the Dev Kit and there aren't a whole lot of tutorials on Youtube for what I'm trying to do. As of right now, I've made a tiny island and a larger island, (I'll post pictures later) and I've also made a new item called the Bioluminescent Mushroom that can be used to feed to a dragon I'm going to add to the map. I was wondering how to make the bioluminescent mushroom plants harvestable by hand, since I used the Crystal Harvest Component which needs to be mined with a pickaxe or hatchet? Also, I've been using The Wookie's tutorials on Youtube, are those still up-to-date, or should I try to find different tutorials?
