I didn't really get into until last June but quit two months later due to busy life. I've been back now for a while and have been thoroughly enjoying it. Luckily I got ARK right before my job started working me 6 nights a week, so I was able to play it enough to get fully addicted, and now I struggle to keep up with my little free time lmao!
