Simbakubwa (Simba the Loyal) Thank you for looking at my suggest! I am not the best artist but I hope that this drawing will get my point across! Info Even thought it resembles a large cat and its name means “great lion” in Swali it is actually closer to the hyena family. This massive mammal is from the Miocene era. It was discovered by Kenyans in Western Kenya. This animal is estimated to weight in at about 650 pounds and the largest could get to over 1500 pounds. It also has a large head with a very powerful bite. Environment This animal mostly lives in the city, when the corrupted dinosaurs started to appear on the outskirts they were pushed inward. This also lead to them becoming attracted to element, once they started to consume this their bodies began to change. They started to have blue element veins run along their legs and you can some hints of a metallic substance. You will also see that they have a large array of different patterns and colors on there bodies, such as stripes, sports, manes and specks. This biggest change was their intelligence, if you watch them you can see that they are actually thinking about ways to solve problems. Its a fantastic sight to see!. Taming. This animal is PROUD and smart, while they are not prone to attack if approach they will if they are extremely hungry. So It is best to wait till they have already fed in order to approach and try to tame. There is 2 important steps taming this creature, 1 is that when you approach you much make it an offering such as meat or element. If it accepts it, it will allow you on its back and this is were the real test begins. You must prove your worth by not falling off, this can have dire consequences, since they can climb walls! Once tame you will have the most loyal beast ever because this beast will only every allow one person to ride it and access its inventory and that the one who tamed it!. Once you have tamed this animal you will have a very powerful companion. It can jump and climb walls which is great for getting out of a hot spot. It has a powerful bite which can do some major damages, specially to corrupted dinosaurs. Also it proves to be useful to have this companion to the highest level because anything that is helping it fight will get a pack buff, if its the highest level. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simbakubwa

Art once again done by the amazingly talented Riskybiscuits Species: Shastasaurus Sikanniensis Time: Middle-Late Triassic Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Passive Wild The Shastasaurus is one of the largest ocean dwellers I have ever witnessed on any of the Arks rivalling the Leedsycthis in terms of sheer mass and being too large for even the mighty tusotuthis to grab a hold of. However, despite its titanic size it is incredibly passive mostly ignoring all other creatures in its vicinity as very few are a threat to it with it only really focusing on smaller schools of fish which it feeds on. If a threat does arrive though such as a group of Mosasaurs or a Leedsycthis it has the special ability of echolocation and is able to detect the threat coming from a mile away. Not just that but it’s echolocation is so powerful that it can charge a large sonic blast with it being able to disorient nearly any hostile allowing the creature to make a quick getaway. Also, much like it’s close relative the ichthyosaurus it is a very social animal living in a tight family unit however due to the sheer size of the Shasta's appetite each member requires an enormous quantity of food and as a result the family units must separate to try and find food on their own to avoid competing for food sources. Sadly, due to the family units splitting up to feed many shastas will never reunite with them and will become incredibly isolated as a result. Domesticated As most Shastasaurus have become isolated and alone due to separating from their families all it requires to domesticate one is simple companionship the best way I have found to do this is with it’s close relative the Ichthyosaurus simply bring a group of them over and the 2 species will begin to interact with the Shastasaurus eventually joining the group and therefore your tribe. Once tamed the Shastasaurus makes for an incredible beast of burden able to carry an insane amount of weight due to this a lot of survivors have constructed a special saddle on the back of the creature this saddle is essentially a submarine as anyone inside it is able to breath and survive the intense pressure of the deep ocean. The saddle also comes equipped with Torpedoes that are essential for any underwater combat as they deal heavy explosive damage. And that’s not even the best part of the saddle when the shastasaurus surfaces above the water the saddle will transform and essentially turn the Shastasaurus into a whaling ship coming equipped with Harpoon launchers these harpoons come equipped with Metal wiring that is attached to each harpoon once fired at a creature it prevents them from moving allowing survivors to easily catch creatures. Abilities and features ·When underwater Saddle acts as a submarine survivors will not lose oxygen and will be able to build in it ·Saddle fires torpedoes these are underwater specific projectiles that deal heavy explosive damage upon impact and they can only be crafted in the inventory of the Shasta (similar to the Equus) ·When the Shasta surfaces the saddle transforms into a whaling ship where the submarine dome disappears and opens up to reveal Harpoon guns these guns are manned turrets that come equipped with metal wiring attached to each harpoon and when fired at an enemy creature it prevents them from moving and essentially binds them this can also be done on enemy players and land creatures and if a creature is small enough you are able to reel them in closer even larger creatures can be reeled in if enough Harpoon guns are fired on it. However the guns have their weaknesses to compensate firstly a creature or enemy player can break out of the Harpoon if they struggle enough (similar to the desmodus or Bloodstalker) and the Harpoon turrets have a durability meter and after a while will require repairs ·Saddle also comes equipped with a Submarine scope allowing you to view the surface of the water while submerged it also acts as a magnifying glass and shows the current health and torpidity of a creature ·Cannot be grabbed by a Tuso due to it’s sheer size ·Has echolocation this essentially gives the Shasta a built in submarine radar allowing it to detect any hostile creatures or players in the immediate area and Highlights everything nearby ·Can charge up a sonic blast with it’s echolocation when fired it disorients enemies essentially acting as a flashbang grenade and enabling the shasta to make an escape if the fight looks to be unwinnable this blast also can disable tek structures and gear including tek underwater bases ·Is very efficient at gathering oil from underwater oil veins and gathers Black pearls effectively from eurypterids and other creatures that drop them ·Saddle is similar to the andrewsarchus saddle as it doesn't require anything to power it and will produce oxygen in the submarine mode for no cost ·Shastasaurus can use it's massive tail to create large whirlpools in the water these can trap enemies in them for a short period of time and disorient them ·Can use a type of suction feeding to suck smaller creatures into it's beak and grip hold of them ·If swarmed the shasta can fire off a sonar pulse this will be a concussive explosion of sound coming off the shasta that will push all enemies back when the shasta is being swarmed ·Can only be tamed by bringing a bunch of tamed Ichthyosaurus or other Shastasaurus and putting them on wandering near it this will cause the wild shasta to interact with those tames and slowly begin to integrate into your tribe however if one of it's companions or the shasta itself is hurt the taming effectiveness will decrease and if one of them is killed the shasta will no longer be tameable and If the player attacks one of the shasta's companions or the shasta itself the whole group will become hostile to the player

Artwork by Riskybiscuits Species: Shunosaurus jiangyiensis Time: Late Jurassic Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Passive Wild Shunosaurus is a smaller species of Sauropod often found wandering the green zone on the ark in small herds they are quite different from most sauropod species due to their shorter necks however to make up for this they have gained a remarkable new adaptation a large bony club at the end of its tail very similar to what the ankylosaurs have. This tail club is incredibly dense and is able to shatter next to anything from stone, metal and the bones of hostile creatures. In spite of it’s deadly weapon though the shunosaurus is quite passive and will most often ignore other creatures as it cares for it’s small herd and munches on plantlife Domesticated In order to tame a shunosaurus a survivor must gain it’s trust which is incredibly difficult to do as the shunosaurus pretty much only trusts members of it’s herd the best way I find to get it to trust you is to save it’s life I once saved a shunosaurus being attacked by a pack of ravagers and it quickly bonded to me as a result. Once tamed the shunosaurus becomes one of the best creatures around for mining as its large build allows it to carry an insane amount of weight and it’s tail club is incredibly effective at harvesting raw materials. Not to mention it can use a special platform saddle that comes with a built in Industrial forge allowing you to quickly smelt any metal gathered. The shunosaurus also makes for an incredibly powerful defensive mount thanks to it’s incredibly strong tail it can block and parry attacks even being able to send some flying back like a baseball bat hitting a ball. Abilities Tail whip attack the attack has massive range due to the long tail of the Shunosaurus and has a chance to inflict a new status effect Can swing it’s head to be used as a second blunt force weapon Can cause a new status effect broken bones this causes the effected creature to be briefly stunned and then move incredibly slowly for a short period Can grab and throw creatures using it's tail by Impaling them with it's club spikes largest creatures it can pick up are Carnos and Chalicos Can collect resources with it's tail whip attack like the anky Has a new buff similar to the pack buffs of the direwolves and allos this will be called the herd buff and causes the damage resistance of the Shunosauruses to increase and gives them a damage buff and movement speed increase Has a Platform saddle but this one comes with a Forge built in so any metal collected can instantly be smelted Can damage stone structures with it's tail attack Saddle can melt down items back to their base components such as flak gear back to metal, hide etc Has Bony plates and osteoderms on it’s back giving it extra damage resistance from behind Can crush element ore and convert it into element dust Can block and parry attacks using it’s tail bouncing back projectile attacks such as rockets, boulders, magmasaur fireballs etc and countering melee attacks however this attack has a cooldown period to prevent spamming Resistance to all forms of radiation and energy allowing it to survive in the most hostile environments including the surface on aberration Has a massive weight reduction of 90% on raw materials such as metal, Stone, wood etc Can gather metal, stone, obsidian, crystal, all types of gems and element ore with it's tail attack Can gather berries, wood, thatch and fiber with it's head swing attack Taming Method In order to tame the shunosaurus you must gain it’s trust by saving it from being attacked when you approach it you can feed it veggie cakes the shuno will then take a liking to you and start to follow you however hordes of nameless and ravagers will begin to arrive and will start to attack the shuno kill all of the attacking creatures and the shuno will be tamed and the more health it has by the end of the horde attack the higher the taming effectiveness will be
