Diamantinasaurus The Behemoth Cave Sauropod Art by Brian Engh from dontmesswithdinosaurs.com Dossier- Name: Diamantinasaurus Time: Late Cretaceous🕰️ Diet: Herbivore🌱 Temperament: Neutral😐 Wild The Diamantinasaurus is a colossal herbivorous sauropod from Australia commonly found in both the green and blue zones. Large plates that adorn the Diamantinasaurus' back serve as protection against predators and the radiation within the Ark. Unlike most herbivores, the Diamantinasaurus possesses a highly developed sense of aggression when threatened, enabling it to fiercely defend itself by utilizing its immense size and powerful tail to fend off potential predators. In the wild, the Diamantinasaurus employs its large front limbs to pound the ground, similar to the roll rat, in order to unearth gems. Taming When taming the Diamantinasaurus, its back plates will glow in either green, blue, or red, corresponding to the three gems found in each zone. These colours will alternate during the taming process. The survivor will then need to drop the gem that matches the colour of the plates. However, once the Diamantinasaurus consumes a gem, it becomes aggressive, and any attempt to ride a mount will result in the Diamantinasaurus knocking the rider off. The taming time will depend on the level of the Diamantinasaurus and the difficulty of obtaining the required gems, so survivors must come prepared. Domesticated Once domesticated, the Diamantinasaurus can be utilized to significantly enhance the efficiency of harvesting various gem nodes scattered across the diverse zones of Ark Aberration. In addition to this valuable capability, the Diamantinasaurus possesses other abilities and utilities that make it a versatile asset in this challenging environment. Primitive dual catapult saddle: the catapults mounted on the Diamantinasaurus are reminiscent of the trolls' catapults from Lord of the Rings. Positioned on either side of the Diamantinasaurus, they accommodate two individuals, much like the seating arrangement on an Amargasaurus saddle. This setup serves as both a PvP strategy and an alternative to taming the Karkinos, albeit with the inherent risk of the Karkinos still having the capability to snatch the two individuals operating the catapults. It is worth noting that the saddle itself can sustain damage through extensive use, but higher tiers of saddles may possess greater durability. Radiation protection saddle: despite its higher cost compared to the primitive alternative, boasts infinite durability without the inclusion of the two catapults. It provides the rider and two others with protection from the radiation in the red zone, as well as from the effects of the spores found in both the green and blue zones. Attacks Ground pound: will dismount players from dinos and will harvest more gems from nodes Reduced weight from gems Tail swipe: pushes back dinos and harvests berries and thatch Charge: breaks through wood and thatch however has a large cooldown Passive abilities Dorsal plates will glow with corresponding buff in each zone green, blue and red- Green higher speed Blue quicker cooldown and larger AOE of ground pound Red Higher defense/attack and the dorsal plates will grow thicker and sharper Passively produces light in all zones -
Daspletosaurus- The Aberrant Rex ARK Daspletosaurus Dossier FINISHED (1) (1) (1) (2).tiff <--- THE LINK FOR MY CONCEPT DOSSIER WILD Daspletosaurus Torusus a remarkable species of carnivouris creature. Standing as tall as the famous T-Rex I've found that Daspletosaurus is this arks version of the Tyrannosaurus, although this ark is an incredibly dangerous and random place to live, the Daspletosaurus is used to these conditions and makes the most of it by hiding out in small caves deeper down, but be careful when going near these caves they will strike and grab their prey, once grabbed the prey will become unconscious when that happens it will eat its prey alive. WILD Daspletosaurus also has incredibly fast healing factor when it eats or finishes of a corpse, doing this also will increase its overall damage output for a decent amount of time, during this time period it'll be able to also run faster and have tankier health. DOMESTICATED To tame one of these foul creatures on this ark truly is a stupid idea, but if brave enough i believe that it can be possible. I believe that Daspletosaurus becomes weak when lead out of its cave, if leaving something shiny like a type of gem or glowing creature that is native to this ark, it will lure allowing you to knock it out by grabbing its attention once out after that drag it towards a brighter area away from its cave, once this is done it will become scared and run a way from anything that threatens it, during this time I believe passively feeding it a my custom mixture made from different tiers of kibble and insect liquids, you will need different tiers of kibble and different types of insect liquids for each different Daspletosaurus's, once a Daspletosaurus has been tamed i believe that it will make taming others very easy. The reason i think this is because i've found that it's able to turn gems into a type of paste that can be used as a little bit of a worse alternative to the mixture i've created. Mixing gems in its inventory with cementing paste and water will turn it into the Daspletosaurus's food if it can't find any prey. ABILITIES: Grab and knock out: able to pick up smaller- small medium sized creatures and knock them out over time Bite: a normal bite that inflicts a small amount of torpor tail slap: do a spin that causes high damage and knocks creatures back Eat: walking up to a corpse and feasting on it to add buffs

Thanos Simonottoi! The Gem Collector! (Added Art)

Common Name: Thanos s. Species Name: Thanos simonattoi Era: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivorous Temperament: Collector Tameable: Yes Rideable: Yes Breedable: Yes Wild: Thanos simonattoi is yet another case of the Ark’s environments changing the behaviors of its occupants. This typically unremarkable example of a non-apex carnivore, standing not much taller than a Carnotaurus, has become something more formidable due to the radiation here. Not only is it seemingly immune to the radiation, but the animal seems almost empowered by it. Another bizarre trait about Thanos s. is its affinity towards rocks. It will secrete a sweat-like substance that doubles as a strong adhesive and roll around on the ground, covering it in rocks to create a sort of armor. I’ve noticed this rocky covering makes the animal harder to hit, unless broken by numerous hits to it or one powerful explosion of some sort. However, there is only one thing Thanos s. Loves more than rocks. Gems. There have been numerous cases in which I’ve stumbled upon a horde of gems, only to find that once I pick one up, I’m being chased by the most rage-filled beast on all of Ark. Not even a Giga has seemed this angry by anything. There have been times where I have watched a Thanos s. take on creatures three or four times its size over the glowing stones and win. I’ve also seen Thanos s. roll around in gems, adhering them to their bodies to ensure nobody tries to their hand at snatching one of their precious stones. I do admit, it gives them a nice glowing pattern to their bodies that is unlike a lot of the creatures I’ve seen. Domesticated: I’d assume someone who has the guts to attempt taming this creature would find it a pretty remarkable ally and powerful war mount. Finding a way to get through its armor, knocking it out, and giving it some gems would likely be the best method of taming it, however I’ve never attempted such a dangerous endeavor. The tamer would find that Thanos s. has a remarkable sort of “6th sense” in finding gems. This is likely a side-effect of the radiation from the red gems. Perhaps something interesting happens once Thanos s. has one of every kind of gem. I haven’t really stuck around to find out. Abilities: Ability 1: Bite Ability 2: Sense Gems. Locates the nearest gem for the player and creates a beacon that the player can only see while mounted on the creature. Ability 3: Rage mode. Only with a saddle equipped. Players can activate a sort of “carrot on a stick” function with the saddle, but instead of a carrot, a gem is placed on the stick. The gem being just out of reach at all times will make Thanos s. go into rage mode, increasing its speed and attack power as long as the gem is in front of it. Ability 4: Rock armor. Thanos s. will roll on the ground, covering itself in a rocky armor. The creature will gain a second health bar for the armor. This takes reduced damage from wooden tools and arrows, as well as most dinosaur attacks. Passive 1: Gem hoarding mode. Players can set a return point for Thanos s. and he begins to hunt for gems. It will pick up any loose gems it finds and place it in the return point. Passive 2: Radiation Immune Passive 3: Gem rage. If a non-ally creature or player takes a gem within a radius of Thanos s, this will active its gem rage. Thanos s. Will gain the effects of rage mode and will follow the gem-nabber a further distance than most dinosaurs will follow any aggressor in-game. Attaching gems: Players can attach gems to Thanos s. which will empower the animal further. Green gems: Increased speed Blue gems: Increased radius of gem sense Red gems: Increased damage Players can attach up to 5 of each gem onto the creature, stacking the effects up to 5 times.
