  1. My Original Submission for this creature was based in Aberration. I designed it to be influential in the countering of Reaper Kings and Queens. However, as this is not Aberration, I now have to focus my design on something more suitable to counter something Extinction based. And what creature will it counter you ask? This time, my idea stems from a counter to the Velonasaur. Both in a PVP, and PVE scenario. Appearance: I imagine it having a hunched stature in it's default stance, much like real Pangolins, with the saddle being underneath it's neck, just like a Gacha. It has several stances like a Stegosaurus, and the rider will be able to control how exposed and vulnerable they are due to this stance changing ability. There will be three stances. It will change from a slouched / crouched posture in it's first stance, to the hunched posture of the middle stance, and finally the final stance, which will have the Pangolin fully upright, displaying their claws and fully revealing their element infused scales in a threatening and intimidating display. The saddle is also underneath it's neck due to the stances changing how vulnerable the rider is from firearms and elements. Such as Velonasaurs, Wyverns, Basilisks, Magmasaurs, and Managarmrs. While also influencing how effective said elements are to the Pangolin itself. Saddle Design: Underneath the neck like a Gacha. As I hope it can have two saddle designs. A normal cheaper one, and one that can transform it into a Smithy, much like the Thorny Dragon. Mind you, this would be way harder to make. Use in game: I want them to be accessible at all stages in the game. Make them a good early game tame, using basic materials to tame, while making a late game tame viable in PVP, and PVE use. As using better materials will yield better stats, and higher taming effectiveness. While also providing (Hopefully) a bunch of utility. Preferred SIze: About the size of an Carno. Or a bit bigger to make it more in size to the Allosaurus, or even the Rex if desired. As the size will be directly influential to an idea I have for it. Habitat: Mostly the Desert Biome, the Forest Biome, and occasionally spawning in the Wastleands. As Pangolins in real life can inhabit a few distinct locations. Temperament: In real life, they are quite passive creatures, as they are very prone to curling up into balls to stave off predators and threats using their sharp scales, but in Extinction, due to the influence of Element's corruption, this results in a peculiar enhancement to the Pangolin's otherwise passive nature. In Extinction, Pangolins are passive to any creature smaller than itself (Unless Provoked.) They are cautious around anything the same size as them. (Things like Allosaurus, Sarcosuchus, Stegosaurus.) And they become territorial and aggressive if in the vicinity of a larger creature than itself. (Things like Rexes, Spinos, Gigas, Carchas.) Making using a bigger creature unwise for taming purposes. Seen below. Diet: They can consume berries, meat, keratin, and chitin. While favoring chitin, keratin, and the eggs of Insect and Bug creatures. With Arthropleura eggs being their absolute favorite. (The eggs are extremely delicious and nutritious to all Pangolins at any stage in their life, and they are essential to the growth of baby Pangolins in game.) Base Stats: Health: 700 - 750 Stamina: 200 Oxygen: 400 Food: 300 Weight: 500 Melee: 100% = 74-82 damage per hit. Torpor: 2,000 Dossier: Wild: "When my friends and I were scavenging for supplies, we happened upon this gentle giant. A benevolent creature that didn't seem all that dangerous. But looks can be decieving, as the sight of a large carnivore sent this beast into a rampage! It started mercilessly fighting everything in sight. A pack of Velonasaur's spines being shot didn't stagger the creature even one bit! And it dispatched the pack with not a wound on it's body. We evacuated before it found us again, but now we know what makes it tick..." "Smutsia Titanus is a sight to behold in battle. They seem to have gained unique adaptations from the element that resides here. Giving them increased immunites, increased resilience, and making every single part of their body lethal to almost anything it comes into contact with. While they not only have bastion-like defenses, they are also highly intelligent, utilizing their strengths in different ways. Such as being more defensive against small nimble creatures, and being highly aggressive to anything it knows it can use it's sharp scales against!" Domesticated: "Smutsia when tamed, is an invaluable enhancement to any tribe's defenses. As they can curl up into balls to protect important locations, items, or creatures, they can lend your tribe it's scales to create special armor and weapons, and they are also incredible battle mounts. A Survivor can draw out their true potential, utilizing their scales in several ways to fit the situation at hand!" Pangolins in the Wild: Pangolins in the wild have different temperament levels depending on what is near them at the given time. If you are not riding a creature, they will be passive to you. Same if you are riding a creature smaller than itself. Riding anything about the size of an Allosaurus, makes the Pangolin a bit Aggressive. Just stay far enough away, and they will leave you alone. Getting too close will instigate them to attack. And riding anything the size of a Rex or larger, will make the Pangolin aggressive on sight. Meaning you cannot tame them. They also become agitated for a little while. Making them aggressive to all creatures in an attempt to either protect themselves, or to ward off any immediate threats in the area. Pangolins will also have very resistant scales both wild, and tamed. Making survivor made weaponry ineffective. Velonsaurs both wild and tamed will also be ineffective even more so, as the scales are highly enhanced by element in order to deflect the Velonasaur's spine fire. How to Domesticate a Smutsia Titanus: Taming a Smutsia will require something that no survivor has had in their lives...COMPASSION AND LOVE!... In all seriousness, taming a Smutsia will require you to be friendly to it. As they are quite passive in real life. To form a bond, you must show that you will help protect the Pangolin from threats. This will prove to the Pangolin that you are a reliable friend and ally, and they will protect you like one of their own. There will be a couple of different ways to tame a Smutsia, as they have different food preferences. In general, to tame Smutsia, simply walk up to it, without a creature the same size or bigger, and give them a food item they desire. Make sure to clear out any big threats in the area, as they will become aggressive and lose taming effectiveness if they become threatened by a big creature. (THIS INCLUDES HERBIVORES) The process will begin once fed, and you have to protect the Smutsia as it starts to warm up to you. They will wander around surveying the area, and once content and feeling safe, they will start searching for food again. Repeat the process, and Smutsia will be yours. However, using different resources will yield different taming results. The table for which is down below: Using berries and meat of any type will be the least effective way to tame a Smutsia. They will lose taming effectiveness fast, and will take longer to tame. BUT, it is possible. Making a low level a useful and reliable early game tame. Using Chitin and Keratin will tame it at a medium rate, while not losing as much taming effectiveness. The process will take about half the time as using berries and meat. (Using this strategy will require you to passive feed it. Like feeding a diplodocus, or an Arthropleura. Having the desired taming food in your last item slot.) Using Tamed Araneos, Achatina, Dung Beetles, Giant Bees, Lymantrias, Scorpions, Arthropleuras, Mantis, and Bloodstalkers will be highly effective at taming Pangolins. The rarity / strength of the creature influencing the specific taming effeciveness. While not the perfect taming method, this will tame them fast, and lose little taming effectiveness. (Using this method will have you drag the corpse of the creature used to feed it. Much like how you feed the Carcha and the Otter. Using Eggs of the previously listed creatures, and birthed Rhyniognathas (Either fully grown, or babies.) Will provide the best taming method to get a Pangolin. The eggs are highly nutritious to the Pangolins, and they are quite frankly perfect tasting to the liking of Pangolins. Both young and old. The rarity of the eggs will influence the taming effectiveness. With Bloodstalker and Mantis eggs being near perfect tames. And with Rhyniognathas being a guaranteed perfect tame. Domesticated Pangolins: Tamed Pangolins can be used in a variety of different ways. Firstly there are different stances the Pangolin can utilize, increasing the gathering of certain resources, while giving the Pangolin enhanced abilities for which stance it is in. There are three stances. Defensive, Cautious, and Offensive. The Pangolin will also have special resources it can make inside it's inventory, called "Sharpened scales". These scales can be transferred from the Pangolins inventory to the survivor and back to the Pangolin, and they have different uses and properties depending on who holds them. The Pangolin is also very good at swimming, as in real life, they make great use of their tails to swim. The Pangolin will have special options in it's radial wheel, and these will have different types of curls. You will be able to coil the Pangolin up in a sort of turret mode, where they can protect things that are within their protective embrace. Finally, the Pangolin will have a passive that is influenced by the amount of "Sharpened scales" it has in it's inventory. These scales can also be used to create special armor and weapons. These will be discussed later down, but just know, they will be made for countering corrupted creatures, and Velonasaur fire. Below, all these abilities are discussed in further detail. Stance Change: Like the Stegosaurus, using this ability will cycle through the stances of the Pangolin. The stance will be remembered for the next ride, or when unmounted. So you can have one in a Defensive stance following you, while also having one in the Offensive stance following you as well. You can also change the stance through the Radial menu when riding it if desired. Different stances will vastly alter how fast and agile the Pangolin is when running, and turning. As well as having different uses for Sharpened scales". Defensive Stance: In Defensive stance, the Pangolin will hunch over, and the rider will be completely concealed within the protective scales of the Pangolin. Preventing them from being stunned, dismounted, effected by radiation, and even preventing the elemental breaths of Wyverns, Magmasaurs, Managarmrs, and Basilisks from hurting the rider, but they will hurt the Pangolin marginally, with Poison being the best to deal with one. However, turrets will be able to hurt them a fair bit if repeated fire is sustained on them. They will be slowest in this stance. And their melee attacks will be their weakest, as they are not focused on battle per say in this state. This stance also has a secondary passive called "Hardened Scales" in which when in possession of "Sharpened Scales" they will have a passive damage reduction of up to 10% from all sources. This will also grant the Pangolin reflect damage, like a Kentro or Arthropleura. Taking enough damage will consume a "Sharpened Scale" and remove it from the Pangolin's inventory. When all scales have been used or taken from the inventory, the Pangolin will no longer recieve the "Sharpened Scales" passive, as well as the "Hardened Scales" passive. (To make it fair, the Pangolin will be UNABLE to make "Sharpened Scales" in it's inventory when in battle. And it will have a cooldown time until the Pangolin is out of battle for a time, and "Sharpened Scales" will be produced again.) This stance also has a tail attack with large knockback. Cautious Stance: In this stance, the Pangolin is in a hunched position, but the rider is more visible and vulnerable to outside sources. Including well aimed Survivor weaponry, and being able to be hit by Wyverns, Magmasaurs, Managarmrs, and Basilisks. The rider can be hit, but they will take reduced damage from Creature attacks. Survivor weaponry will not be effected if it hits the survivor right on. Meaning with the right aim, you can snipe someone out from their walking bastion. Their melee attacks will have average damage, as this is a stance both suited to defense, and offense in the same stance. The "Hardened scales passive will only be half applied in this stance. Meaning a max of 5% damage reduction will be applied with "Sharpened Scales" in it's inventory. But, this is balanced by "Sharpened Scales" now gaining a new passive, for this stance and the Offensive Stance. "Sharpened Scales" in the inventory while in Cautious and Offensive stance will provide the Pangolin with increased penetration, and increased damage by 10%. Making them good counters to both armored creatures, and saddles. Offensive stance will enhance this further. The Pangolin will be semi-fast in this stance. (A bit slower than a running Rex.) And they will be able to turn pretty easily, having quite a short turning radius. This stance also has a tail attack with medium knockback. Offensive Stance: In this stance, the Pangolin will be fully upright, exposing it's rider fully. The spikes on it's back will be on full display, and they will fully unfurl to become a threatening and intimidating display of strength. It's claws will be fully unfurled in this state too. The Pangolin will be fast enough to keep up with Rexs in this stance, and they will be able to turn in place like a Bipedal stance Spino. The "Sharpened Scales" in it's inventory will purely be used for Offense here. While losing the damage reduction from other stances, the new passive to "Hardened Scales" will be giving the Pangolin a debuff to the enemy much like the Shadowmane. The debuff will be called "Serrated!" this debuff will make it so that the creature will not be able to heal as much overtime, and they will very very slowly lose HP. Pretty much a less powerful version of the bleed effect from Gigas and Allosaurus. It will drain 1% HP every 5 seconds. (This effect will NOT work on bosses. It WILL work on tamed creatures, and wild ones however.) The "Sharpened Scales" buff will also enhance the Pangolin's attack and penetration by an additional 10%, giving it a total of 20% damage increase and penetration. This will make it quite the powerhouse if used right. But be careful. As "Sharpened Scales" are used faster in this stance, meaning you'll need more than the other two stances to keep the buffs up. This stance also has a tail attack with small knockback. The "Sharpened Scales" as items: "Sharpened Scales" are essential to the Pangolin I have created. And you can get them one of three ways. You can find them as item drops from dead Pangolins, you can knock one out to steal them from it's inventory, or you can tame a Pangolin, and have it passively create scales for you. (The higher the level, the faster they produce these scales) These scales can be used for different buffs in the Pangolin's inventory. However, they have two other uses aside from buffing our friend here. They can be placed in a survivor's inventory to reduce damage taken from all sources by 3% just the same as the Pangolin, but much weaker. Or, you can use them in a regular Smithy, or the Pangolin's Smithy saddle .(If they decide to add that.) Using "Sharpened Scales" will allow the creation of new weapons and armor, known as "Scale" items. The "Scale" armor will reduce the damage of Survivor weapons by 5%, "Scale" weapons will have increased penetration against armored foes by 5%. This cannot be buffed in any way, and there will be no blueprints for the armor / weapons. (Unless Wildcard decides to do that.) While "Scale" shields will also have the added benefit of not only being about as good as metal shields, but their durability will not go down if hit by Velonasaur spines. The same applies for Reaper Queen Spines. (Mind you, excessive amounts of "Sharpened Scales" will be needed in the construction of these items on a regular basis.) The Pangolin's "Bastion" forms: When not being ridden, the Pangolin will have a special ability in it's radial wheel. This will be called, "Bastion formation". There will be three distinct Bastion Forms. These forms will make the Pangolin enter it's "Bastion formation" of the desired type, making their body a wall, and a shield to protect whatever is within it's clutches, or whatever is behind it. This includes any and all structures that can fit within it's protective formations. (Having many Pangolins work together can act as a very formidable replacement for spike walls. And they can be used as a taming assist, keeping the creature you are taming safe from harm.) "Bastion formation: Circle": The Pangolin curls up into a ball, keeping whatever is within it's center safe from anything but aerial threats. The rider is able to mount, and dismount into the inside of the formation, incase they need to be protected from wild creatures. This can also be used to fully encircle OSDs, giving you more protection to work with. "Bastion formation: Arch": The Pangolin lays down on it's side. It's back scales will be facing whatever is trying to get through, while the Pangolins Saddle, and claws will be pointing towards what it is protecting. And it's head and tail will be bent back, forming an Arch, or triangle shape. Hence the name of the formation. This is best used in small corridors, or when you want to keep something like waves of corrupted creatures from getting to an OSD. "Bastion formation: Line": The Pangolin lays down on it's side. It's back scales will be facing whatever is trying to get through, while the Pangolins Saddle, and claws will be pointing towards what it is protecting. It's head and tail will be perfectly straight, acting as a living spike wall. It can fling it's tail back and forth to knock attackers back and damage them. This can be easily linked up with Spike Walls and other Pangolins in other Formations. This can once again be used as base defense, taming assists, or OSD defense. (If you think of any other formations, let me know! I think it's a really neat idea.) Conclusion: I worked really hard on this, and I tried being as creative as I could with it. If I have any ideas I accidentally stole, know it was on accident. I tried my best to be original in my design, and I truly hope others can see that I really believe this could be it for the Pangolin to be added. Also here are some other ideas I came up with while designing it.) Scrapped Idea 1: Feeding it Element dust would increase the production speed of "Sharpened Scales." Scrapped Idea 2: Giving it a roll attack in it's Defensive stance like the Doedicerus. Scrapped Idea 3: Having it eat sand / rocks in order to strengthen it's digestive tract, thus allowing for more powerful scales to be produced using element. Scrapped Idea 4: Having the tail attack in the Attack stance be able to reflect certain projectiles. Such as Poison Breaths from the Basilisk and the Poison Wyvern, and deflecting Velonasaur and Reaper Queen spines. Hoping to see Smutsia Titanus in the top 10! Good Luck to all participating submissions! Sincerely: Jade
  2. Tartuosteus, Derp Fish Greetings, survivors! I introduce to you the TARTUOSTEUS DOSSIER Wild TARTUOSTEUS can be found in the shallower parts of the oceans of the ark. You can see them hanging out in groups from 1 to 4 individuals. They are noticed by their cute derpy smiles, armored plates, and bony tail. Like Ichtys they will actually sometimes come up to you. These creatures are friendly to anything that doesn’t want to eat them and sometimes you can see Ichthyosaur and Mantas hanging around cus they just love its positive aura! When attacked, Tartuosteus will try to swim away, but when it reaches half health, it will puff up in a defensive state with the sharp points of its plates sticking out deflecting damage back to opponents. When in this state, their defense will increase and sometimes they will swing their bony tail against its predator's skull to let them know who is the smiling king of the reefs! Even though their diet mainly consists of microorganisms that they filter out of the water they are happy to crush anything with a shell with their bony tails and slurp up their insides! Their favorite snack are ammonites, as they love ammonite bile and are also immune to the effects of it! The TARTUOSTEUS seems to have algae growing on its shell but instead of trying to get rid of them to snack on, Tartuo lets them stay as the algae lower the aggro range of creatures. When the algae is too much they will try to get rid of some as too much can slow it down! So when you do have one tamed try to trim its algae from time to time! Taming To tame a TARTUOSTEUS you need to make use of its dumb mind! First of all you need to take some C4 with you. Then, Tartuosteus will approach you and when close you can feed them some C4 as they are too dumb to realize it’s a bomb. Swim away and let the C4 detonate. Because of the strong interior of this bony fish it can survive the explosion, but it will go into a dizzy like state. When this happens, go up to it and feed it some ammonite bile! When you’ve done this, creatures will come after you and the Tartuo will puff up in its defensive state protecting itself. When you’ve cleared all the dangers it will deflate again and after some time its dumb mind will forget you’ve just blown its insides and it will be a rinse-and-repeat! Domesticated The TARTUOSTEUS might seem like a dumb and un-useful creature but don’t judge a book by its cover! This derpy fish will be your dumbest but best friend with their constant positivity and derpy smile! In water the Tartuo will passively provide you with oxygen when you are near or riding it. Their positive nature can give allies and tames a buff called the Positivity Buff that works slightly like a lesser Courage Roar. Their large bony tails are perfect for shattering the oceans rocks and ores and with its weight reduction it will be like your underwater Ankylosaur! With its strong insides it is able to turn solid rock into powder making their insides work like a mobile mortar and pestle but with some improvements, like making gunpowder inside. The TARTUOSTEUS has a quite cool ability where it can puff up. Its normal bloat that can be controlled will swell up its belly but the plates' sharp points won’t be sticking out like they do in its defense bloat. Tartuo can be puffed up by sucking in water and then going on to land! Because it’s sucked up water before, it can survive some time on land and bounce around on the beaches, crushing creatures that are unfortunate to end up under it. If you don’t puff it in water beforehand, the Tartuo will immediately deflate again, taking damage, so make sure that if this happens you get it back in the water as fast as you can! Their defense bloat will be activated when it reaches half health; this will result in the pointy sharp plates deflecting damage back to their opponents, and a stronger defense buff. After time it will deflate again and you can go on with your passive smiling fish navigating through the ocean. But the plates aren’t only used for defense. You can also use them to see if there are any alphas nearby as the plates will point out even when it’s deflated when alpha creatures are near. This isn’t the only thing as the Tartuo will leave a bubble trail when max level creatures are nearby as well! Probably the weirdest aspect of this creature are its… babies? Tartuosteus females don’t need a mate to lay eggs but this doesn’t mean you will get healthy babies. Even though the babies are underdeveloped and not actually alive/conscious you can still see their beautiful smiles in the eggs. But the most remarkable part of these underdeveloped babies is the fact they will still passively try to puff up. But because their bloat organs aren’t fully developed yet instead of puffing up they will blow up… This might sound really cruel but the babies don’t feel anything and don’t even know they exist. But these explosive eggs can be used as a deadly weapon when put in a cannon or simply thrown by hand; they will blow up doing damage to your foes. And because the saddle of the adults have built in baby cannons their cannons can be loaded with babies and mixed with gunpowder the babies can be shot right out of the cannons with an even deadlier impact. The babies actually have different explosive states, one being almost like land mines when creatures come close they will blow up, the other can be thrown or shot acting like bombs that explode on impact with creatures or enemies and lastly one kind has a really sticky egg shell making them work like sticky bombs! Yep this might seem really cruel and you might feel bad but remember their smiles say enough! Tartuos still can be bred normally with a male and infertile eggs can also be moved to the inventory of the males. Normal breeding will give you just one egg tho that will need to be hatched in water mate boost also will work normally on pairs and actually double the positivity buff! If you have a male around and still want infertile bomb eggs just make sure mating is off! ABILITIES Primary Attack (, , 😞 Tail attack, breaks stones and ores and the faces of creatures Secondary Attack (, , 😞 Bloat, can activate any time but without its stronger defense buff and spikes. Can activate it in defense bloat mode when reaching half health, this bloat will stay only a limited time. Jump (Press Space, , 😞 Bounce; only when bloated on land X Activate Cannons (Click C, , ) Shoot (, , ) Aim (, , ) Toggle Modes (Left Ctrl, , ) Modes: mine, bomb, and sticky The eggs wil have different colors based on wich ability they have! (Be sure to look out for the golden baby egg that will give a giant explosion) Passive Abilities bubble shooting when survivor is near or on it so the survivor doesn’t need oxygen for a limited time Defense bloat lil bro will bloat up but this time with defense buff and spikes that will knockback damage back like kentro/arthro/shadowmane Items JET SURFING BOARD For this you will need tartuo fins. This surfing board makes navigating through the ocean super easy with its high speed and mobility you can race on the waves. Because of the tartuo fins on the sides you can make sharp turns, you can also super boost making you even faster but this has a cool down and you’ll need to have enough gasoline on you! DERP ELIXIR Positivity buff 40% percent More than 5 percents derp fish passively does Agro range lowered Jellyfish won’t attack you 5 percent taming efficiency Boosts crafting skill for limited amount of time Recipe: Trimmed algae, Ammonite bile, Angler gel, Water, Basilo blubber Utility & Scenarios PvE: The TARTUOSTEUS is a good and reliable water mount. The Tartuo brings a way to harvest ores and rocks underwater, and with its strong insides being able to be your mounted improved mortar and pestle it can be useful in both gathering and crafting scenarios. One of its most useful scenarios is that it can kill any shelled creatures with ease and has a high harvesting rate, and an even larger one for ammonite bile and it also being immune to the effects of the bile! Its ability to bounce on land also makes it so you don’t need it to stay in the waters all the time, its positivity buff is highly useful for you allies and its derpy smile is enough to make everyone happy. And even though it might look very dumb it can definitely pack a punch!! Its items are supposed to be providing help with navigating on waters, helping with taming, helping with the dangers of the ark, crafting skill and lastly POSITIVITY. PvP: The Tartuosteus is the first proper water soaker, in its bloated state it is able to withstand a large amount of upcoming damage with no issues whatsoever, its undeveloped eggs can be highly explosive if disturbed and might cause some serious damage to any enemy unfortunate enough to get hit by one of them, apart from being able to take a beating if damaged enough it might return the favour by poking out its sharp plates and stabbing its attacker back everytime it hits it. Tartuosteus has both incredible defence and powerful offence and it is not something to be overlooked in water combat and raiding . CONCLUSION Atm the dossier is still in the works but stay tuned! I wanna do big credit to the team of friends I worked with and the amazing artists helping me. Credits to riskybiscuits, lapis, opal, miheal, jimmy and the rest of the team!
  3. Description : Le Sinraptor est un dinosaure agressif de la famille des métriacanthosoridés, il a des pointes sur le dos, une petite crête sur la tête, des griffes acérées et des dents. Processus d'apprivoisement : If you want to tame a Sinraptor , you first have to put some Narcotics in the last slot of your hotbar , then , you have to passively feed him one Narcotic while wearing a ghillie suit and ride it while it’s eating it , and after that , it will try to dismount you , and if you don’t want this to happen you will have to feed him Narcotics every twenty seconds so his torpor will go up , but if you forget to do this , it will dismount you and you will be stunned for five seconds what will give it the opportunity to attack you . And once you give it enough Narcotics , it will fall asleep , you will be able to access his inventory and give it meat because it’s an carnivore . (PS : You can use Narcotics or Narcoberries or biotoxin for its torpor to go up ) Tips and strategies to kill it : In case you want to kill a Sinraptor , it’s recommended to use a large mount like a Spinosaurus , Karkinos , Basilisk … etc , or you can use a powerful weapon like the shot gun or the sniper rifle . When you will have killed it , it will drop its claws that you can use to craft a bone hooks Sinraptor claws : Bone hooks : Attacks : Bite : The Sinraptor will bite with it's powerful jaws Stomp : The Sinraptor will stomp with his back legs and do AOE damage Roar : The Sinraptor will trigger a roar that will scare any creature that is smaller than him. 4. Dossier Common name: Tyrannophontes Species: Tyrannophontes vastatus Time: Carboniferous Diet: Omnivorous Temperament: Patient Wild Unpredictable is how I would define Tyrannophontes vastatus, this giant crustacean is a lethal ambush predator and extremely territorial, even with others of its kind. Staying away from deep water is recommended if you want to avoid being impaled or having your bones shattered in a split second, as this most formidable creature should not be underestimated. I believe that this terrible Stomatopod has no weak point other than below its abdomen, as its carapace can withstand the most destructive explosives. Domesticated Although dangerous, Tyrannophontes are very intelligent and are curious about some shiny materials, this can be used to distract them and try to gain their trust. When calmed down, they make excellent companions for combat being able to easily deal with the most dangerous threats, in addition to underwater travel, and resource gathering. Males and females have characteristics that allow them to function differently for virtually any situation. Apparently they can see things that other creatures can't, its vibrant colors work as a hypnosis strategy and I also discovered that somehow their exoskeleton can absorb external heat, cold and radiation, maybe this has some beneficial use for the tribes. In Practice and Behavior Tyrannophontes vastatus are giant mantis shrimps a little smaller than a Rex, they remain in deep waters of the oceans of The Center in the substrate where their burrows are (similar to a Purlovia) and will attack survivors and their creatures if they pass too close to their territory, if you want to avoid being attacked, be aware that even buried it is possible to see its eyes and antennaes exposed. Tyrannophontes have sexual dimorphism, so Males and Females can attack you in different ways, Males are Spearers and will attack by projecting their spiny raptorial appendages to impale you, Females are Smashers and will grab you with their maxillipeds, in followed by delivering a sequence of powerful punches. When lured out of their burrows, Tyrannophontes will be able to chase you, but will give up if you reach land. They cannot bury each other after emerging from their burrows, but they will try to hypnotize you and then attack you if you dive back into the water. If two Wild Tyrannophontes encounter each other they will fight each other for a while until they both break apart. Taming Tyrannophontes have two methods of domestication. The first method is similar in part to Tusoteuthis, you must take a creature of your own, close to the size of a Megalodon or smaller so that Tyrannophontes can grab it (if you don't want your creature to die, it's good that it has a lot of life, like a Carbonemys for example), then give him one of the materials below to distract him and start the taming bar (Tyrannophontes is interested in shiny materials, being the following: Angler Gel, Bio Toxin, Silica and Black Pearls, Crystal, Metal Ingot and Element. The rarity of the item does not influence the percentage of taming, but the time that Tyrannophontes will be distracted, the rarer the item you offer, the longer it will be distracted), it will not consume the item, but after losing interest, it will drop it and return to attack the nearest target, keep your distance so as not to become his target. Repeat this process until the taming bar is full and you've tamed your first Tyrannophontes. The second method, if you already have a tamed Tyrannophontes, you can use it to fight a wild Tyrannophontes you want to tame (Tyrannophontes are immune to being grabbed by other Tyrannophontes), don't worry about your or the wild's health, they are extremely resistant, even the low level ones and the effectiveness is not affected, just keep attacking with claws or fists (depends on the gender of your Tyrannophontes, but this does not influence the taming), when the taming bar reaches 90% the Wild Tyrannophontes will stop attacking and raise its abdomen, displaying a respectful behavior, at that moment you must stop attacking it (if you pay attention to the taming percentage) and display the same behavior towards it, with that the taming bar will fill up faster and when complete, congratulations! Skills and Capabilities Tyrannophontes aren't very agile on land, though they can still be great fighters and gatherers. They are extremely versatile in the water, with a fast turning radius. They are immune to torpor, radiation, fire or lava, freezing, Reaper acid blood and other factors that you will see below and their carapace offers a lot of defense to any part of their body, except their lower abdomen, which is their weak point (its exoskeleton is adapted to extreme environments, preventing Tyrannophontes from being affected by the exposure of the surface of Aberration during the day time). Cnidaria do not damage Tyrannophontes. They can be bred underwater and the female will lay an egg. Tyrannophontes could deal with bigger dangers, like Mosasaurs, Plesiosaurs and Tusoteuthis without much difficulty and would be great battle companions, along with tamed Rexes and Yutyrannus, being a support in the confrontation against the Bosses and an extreme booster for Basilosaurus in underwater caves. Left Click: a primary attack with the raptorial appendages. Males will have a quick, double claw attack, hitting targets even far away from him (similar to Therizinosaurus). Females are stronger than Males, will have a club attack, it is slower and needs to be hit closer, but in addition to giving a good knockback, it also inflicts a Bleeding for 5 seconds, draining 10% of enemies' health. It can be used both in water and on land. Both Males and Females can use this attack to break Rhyniognatha's sticky resin or break ice on creatures that have been frozen by Snow Owls or Managarmrs. Right Click: press to send Tyrannophontes rolling away, very useful for long trips on land, as destructive as a Roll Rat and more maneuverable than a Doedicurus. Enclosed in its carapace, Tyrannophontes takes virtually no fall damage. If used in water the Tyrannophontes will curl up fully enclosing its carapace and protecting the lower part of its abdomen, but is unable to move. Space bar: hold to charge a super punch or skewer. The Females will cause high damage and a powerful knockback, knocking opponents away, they also cause a unique debuff called Shell Shocked that makes the armor of survivors or saddles of creatures totally ineffective for defense for 60 seconds (this debuff also inflicts on wild creatures, for example a Carbonemys takes 0.5x damage on the tail and 0.2x damage on the shell, under the Shell Shocked debuff its defense will be broken and Carbonemys will take the same damage as the head on the whole body, another example is that a Doedicurus will not be able to stay in their balled form under this debuff, making themselves more vulnerable. However this debuff does not affect other Tyrannophontes, because its carapace is practically unbreakable, being immune). With this attack the Females can destroy even Tek structures. Males will not cause this debuff, but will quickly fire their claws at the opponent, penetrating other creatures and the survivor's armor, trapping them (similar to Impaled status of Stego). Males are only able to destroy Tatch, Greenhouse and Wooden structures. This attack can also be used while underwater and with an added bonus, when charging, Tyrannophontes will fire a massive shockwave in a straight line hitting ranged targets and paralyzing them for 5 seconds, dealing the same damage as the physical impact, at area concentrated by the shockwave would become very hot for a few seconds. Fully charged, this attack also allows your Tyrannophontes to break free from Tusoteuthis' tentacles or Rhyniognatha's claws in PVP. C Key: hold for Tyrannophontes to raise its abdomen and display its pleopods, uropods and antennal scales which will glow in a pattern of vibrant, iridescent colors, this demonstrates respectful behavior towards Wild Tyrannophontes, but can also be used to cause a hypnosis effect on players (similar to the fertile red mushroom spores clound effect in Aberration) and on wild or tame creatures in PVP, works both on land and in water, hypnosis has a 10 second cooldown on each use and players and creatures that are affected will only be hypnotized again after 15 seconds have come out of the effect. Tyrannophontes can cause three types of hypnoses: Paralyzing Hypnosis: paralyzes enemies and creatures for up to 10 seconds. Attractive Hypnosis: attracts enemies and creatures towards you, but they will not be able to attack you under this effect for 10 seconds. Reflective Hypnosis: works as a "mirror", returning the debuffs caused by the roar of enemy creatures, for example a Yutyrannus or a Rhyniognatha would be scared by their own roars (returns only debuffs caused by roars, not by physical attacks like Gnashed or against roars that apply buff to the creature itself, such as the Dire Wolf's howl). The three hypnoses will also force creatures cloaked by Female Shadowmane, Wild Shadowmanes, tamed Desmodus and Rock Drakes to reveal themselves. Paralyzing and Attractive Hypnosis is also very useful, as it facilitates stealing Rock Drakes, Wyverns and Magmasaurs eggs. The downside is that the Tyrannophontes would leave the lower part of its abdomen exposed and more vulnerable to damage, but the hypnoses would affect all entities (not from your tribe) in a large radius around the creature, being a good tactic in certain situations, as well as used to tame Wild Tyrannophontes. Creatures larger than a Magmasaur or Rex are unaffected (The Tyrannophontes themselves, wheter wild or tame, Alphas and Brute creatures and Bosses are not hypnotize). X Key: allows Tyrannophontes to attach to any surface at the bottom of the water and walk, rather than swim (similar to Megalanias and Rock Drakes clinging to the walls and ceilings of surfaces), can only be used underwater as Tyrannophontes would not be able to support your body on the ceiling or vertically on land. MMB: grabs players and creatures with its maxillipeds (can carry the same creatures as a Karkinos, one at a time, but also aquatic creatures up to the size of a Megalodon, flying creatures are not grabbed). Ctrl + X Keys: Releases or stores an absorbed factor. Were you curious? See more below. R Key: Tyrannophontes can switch between three different vision types, beyond normal vision (real mantis shrimps have the most complex eyes in the animal kingdom, having between 12 and 16 photoreceptor cells, the ability to change wavelengths, trinocular vision and depth perception). When using one of the other 3 vision types will consume stamina, Tyrannophontes will also not be able to use the hypnosis skill. Night Vision: equal to the Tek Helmet's Night Vision, giving perfectly clear vision during the day and underwater (I honestly think a dynamic polarization vision would be more interesting, but I don't know how this could be applied in the game). Infra-red Vision: like Snow Owl's Predator Vision, it works on land and in water. Ultraviolet Vision: the environment is changed to an ultraviolet color palette, this vision allows Tyrannophontes to see the general stats of any creature and at long distances (like the HLNA does in Genesis Part 1, but better). It also lets you detect buried creatures such as Purlovia and Reapers or entities behind walls. Passive Skills and Utilities By now it is clear that Tyrannophontes was made for PVP, but it would also be very useful in PVE and Host Solo. You could leave your Tyrannophontes walking, so they would collect various natural resources in large quantities and still with a 80% weight reduction of practically all these resources in all maps. The intelligence of Tyrannophontes allow them to recognize and guard places with an abundance of resources, this added to the fact that they are excellent general gatherers make them indispensable for any tribe. Their antennules are very sensitive, allowing them to identify and locate a specific resource naturally in the nearest area, with the symbol of the resource being indicated in the direction (in order for the Tyrannophontes to locate a desired resource, the Locate Resource option of that feature is enabled, so just have a single unit of that resource in slot 0 and offer it to your Tyrannophontes so he can find the defined resource. Note, he will not consume the resource you offered, but will hold it in one of his maxillipeds). Males and Females would pick up resources with different efficiencies, the Males being Spearers would work like a metal sickle collecting more Tatch, Fiber, Berries, Rare Flower, Mushrooms, Flint, Organic Polymer, Meats and Silica Pearls, while the Females being Smashers, would work like a metal pickaxe/axe, collecting more Wood, Hide, Pelt, Chitin, Keratin, Crystal, Obsidian, Oil, Metal, Stone and Black Pearl (Tyrannophontes can be carried by Rhyniognatha thus allowing for a more efficient means of locomotion with a large amount of resources). Tyrannophontes are also immune to heat, cold and radiation, but the best thing about this is that they can absorb ambient temperature and radiation into their exoskeleton, making them almost like a walking "nuclear reactor". You can activate or deactivate his absorption option, but if you deactivated it after he absorbed one of the factors, if you activate it again he will no longer have it, he will have to reabsorb it. It can only absorb one factor at a time, if it is activated, it will continue to store the factor it has, to absorb another one that it wants, it must deactivate the one it has at the moment. When absorbing a factor, Tyrannophontes just stores it, press Ctrl + X Keys to release or store again that factor (when released, the factor lasts up to 24 hours in real life until it is completely depleted and cannot be reabsorbed in the meantime, but the time can be cut by disabling the option). Tyrannophontes gains significant traits and capabilities for each of the three factors it absorbs: In hot regions or places, Tyrannophontes absorb heat, they glow in a reddish orange hue with an aura on the body (resembling an Alpha creature), when releasing heat, a large area around Tyrannophontes will become very hot, but its allies will not suffer Dehydration or loss of health from this heat, on the contrary, allies and their tames will become more fire resistant in the presence of heat coming from Tyrannophontes (the same effect caused by consuming Wyvern Milk), this can be used to hatch eggs or keep the player warm when exploring cold areas, but best of all Tyrannophontes' physical attacks can also burn its enemies. In cold regions, Tyrannophontes absorb cold, they glow in an icy blue hue, with an aura of the same color on the body, when releasing cold, a large area around Tyrannophontes will become very cold, allies will have more resistance to cold and being frozen (but will not be totally immune to freezing), also useful for incubating Rock Drakes eggs and keeping players more refreshed in hot areas, but Tyrannophontes will be able to freeze its enemies when attacking them (not instantly, it will freeze a bit with each hit). In radioactive regions (I know that in The Center there are no places with radiation, but this factor would be very useful in Aberration), Tyrannophontes absorb radiation, when they become radioactive, they glow a fluorescent navy blue hue, but no need to worry as the Tyrannophontes' radiation does not affect the rider or allies, by releasing radiation, your Tyrannophontes will function both as a ranged defender, exposing radiation to virtually any threat, and as a Tek Generator, supplying power to any electrical devices in your base, be it on land or underwater bases, lasting around 24 hours in real life, until all the radiation is gone, it is very functional, as radiation is also a energy type (although Tyrannophontes' radiation has the same range as a Tek Generator, it is not capable of powering Tek devices). Just for fun, Tyrannophontes would mimic some survivor emotes (like Bloodstalker does). Saddle: Tyrannophontes's saddle can be unlocked at level 62 and crafted at the Smithy, with 210x Hide, 120x Fiber, 110x Cementing Paste, 380x Metal Ingot and 125x Crystal. The saddle is closed and prevents the player from losing oxygen or grabbed by some creature, in addition to preventing you from being exposed to external status, debuffs and any projectile attacks, its design would be a combination of the Magmasaur Saddle with the Roll Rat Saddle.
  5. Description : The Sinraptor is an agressive dinosaur from the metriacanthosorid family , it has spikes on its back , a little crest on its head , sharp claws an teeth. Taming process : If you want to tame a Sinraptor , you first have to put some Narcotics in the last slot of your hotbar , then , you have to passively feed him one Narcotic while wearing a ghillie suit and ride it while it’s eating it , and after that , it will try to dismount you , and if you don’t want this to happen you will have to feed him Narcotics every twenty seconds so his torpor will go up , but if you forget to do this , it will dismount you and you will be stunned for five seconds what will give it the opportunity to attack you . Attacks : Bite : The Sinraptor will bite with it's powerful jaws. Stomp : The Sinraptor will stomp with his back legs and do AOE damage. Roar : The Sinraptor will trigger a roar that will scare any creature that is smaller than him. The Sinraptor roar will scare the following creatures: • Achatina • Allosaurus • Ankylosaurus • Araneo • Archa • Arthropluera • Baryonyx • Beelzebufo • Bloodstalker • Bulbdog • Carbonemys • Carno • Castoroides • Chalicotherium • Compy • Daeodon • Dilophosaur • Dimetrodon • Diplocaulus • Dire Bear • Direwolf • Dodo • Doedicurus • Dung Beetle • Equus • Ferox • Ferox (Large) • Gigantopithecus • Glowtail • Human • Hyaenodon • Iguanodon • Jerboa • Kairuku • Kentrosaurus • Lystrosaurus • Mammoth • Mantis • Megalania • Megaloceros • Megatherium • Mesopithecus • Morellatops • Moschops • Nameless • Otter • Oviraptor • Ovis • Pachy • Pachyrhinosaurus • Parasaur • Pegomastax • Phiomia • Pulmonoscorpius • Purlovia • Raptor • Ravager • Roll Rat • Sabertooth • Sarco • Shinehorn • Skeletal Stego • Skeletal Trike • Stego • Terror Bird • Therizinosaur • Thorny Dragon • Thylacoleo • Titanoboa • Titanomyrma Drone • Trike • Troodon • Turkey • Unicorn • Woolly Rhino • Yeti • Zomdodo Thank you for reading Made by: Rexgaming
  6. (If anyone cares to make a dossier based on the information below, I would be very grateful and credit whoever does) Dossier Common name: Tyrannophontes Species: Tyrannophontes vastatus Time: Carboniferous Diet: Omnivorous Temperament: Patient Wild Unpredictable is how I would define Tyrannophontes vastatus, this giant crustacean is a lethal ambush predator and extremely territorial, even with others of its kind. Apparently they can see things that other creatures can't and I also discovered that somehow their exoskeleton can absorb external radiation, maybe this has some beneficial use for the tribes. In Practice and Behavior Tyrannophontes vastatus are giant mantis shrimps bigger than a Roll Rat, they remain in deep waters of all Aberration in the substrate where their burrows are (similar to a Purlovia) and will attack survivors and their creatures if they pass too close to their territory, if you want to avoid being attacked, be aware that even buried it is possible to see its eyes and antennaes exposed. The first method is similar in part to Tusoteuthis, you must take a creature of your own, close to the size of a Roll Rat or smaller so that Tyrannophontes can grab it (if you don't want your creature to die, it's good that it has a lot of life, like a Carbonemys for example), then give him one of the materials below to distract him and start the taming bar (Tyrannophontes is interested in shiny materials, being the following: Angler Gel, Bio Toxin, Black Pearl, Crystal, Metal Ingot, any Gems, Element, Element Ore, Gasoline (gas crafted), Congealed Gas Ball, Charge Battery, Glow Stick and Nameless Venom. Skills and Capabilities First of all, let me inform you that although many similarities, Tyrannophontes IS NOT a copy or replacement of the Roll Rat, Tyrannophontes has many other unique peculiarities. Tyrannophontes aren't very agile on land, though they can still be great fighters and gatherers. They are extremely versatile in the water, with a fast turning radius. They are immune to torpor, radiation and other factors that you will see below and their carapace offers a lot of defense to any part of their body, except their lower abdomen, which is their weak point (its exoskeleton is adapted to extreme environments, preventing Tyrannophontes from being affected by the exposure of the surface of Aberration, favoring optimal exploration even during the day). Cnidaria do not damage Tyrannophontes. They can be bred underwater and the female will lay an egg. Tyrannophontes could deal with Wild Reapers without much difficulty and would be great battle companions, along with tamed Rock Drakes and Reaper King, being a support in the confrontation against Boss Rockwell. Left Click: a primary attack with the raptorial appendages. Males will have a quick, double claw attack, hitting targets even far away from him (similar to Therizinosaurus). Females are stronger than Males, will have a club attack, it is slower and needs to be hit closer, but in addition to giving a good knockback, it also inflicts a Fracture for 3 seconds. It can be used both in water and on land. Right Click: press to send Tyrannophontes rolling away, very useful for long trips on land, as destructive as a Roll Rat and more maneuverable than a Doedicurus. Males will not cause this debuff, but will quickly fire their claws at the opponent, penetrating other creatures and the survivor's armor, trapping them (similar to Stego). C Key: hold for Tyrannophontes to raise its abdomen and display its pleopods, uropods and antennal scales which will glow in a pattern of vibrant, iridescent colors, this demonstrates respectful behavior towards Wild Tyrannophontes, but can also be used to cause a hallucination effect on players (similar to the fertile red mushroom spores clound effect in Aberration) or hypnosis on wild or tame creatures in PVP, works both on land and in water, but consumes stamina the longer you hold it down (Tyrannophontes can be brought to other maps and this skill being able to function as a "mirror" returning the roar of the Rhyniognatha, scaring the own). Hypnosis can cause different effects on other creatures, it can paralyze (PVP tribe creatures) or calm them down (wild creatures), not focusing on you or your Tyrannophontes (or creatures and your tribe members if they are nearby). Hypnosis will also force invisible Rock Drakes to reveal themselves (whether wild or tamed). Hypnosis is also very useful, as it facilitates stealing Rock Drake eggs and taming Basilisk quietly. The downside is that the Tyrannophontes would leave the lower part of its abdomen exposed and more vulnerable to damage, but the hallucination/hypnosis would affect all entities (not from your tribe) in a large radius around the creature, being a good tactic in certain situations, as well as used to tame Wild Tyrannophontes. Mesmer hypnosis from Subnautica X Key: allows Tyrannophontes to attach to any surface at the bottom of the water and walk, rather than swim (similar to Megalanias and Rock Drakes clinging to the walls and ceilings of surfaces), can only be used underwater as Tyrannophontes would not be able to to support your body on the ceiling or vertically on land. MMB: grabs players and creatures with its maxillipeds (aquatic creatures from a Manta to a Sarcosuchus and land creatures from a Bulbdog to a Roll Rat). R Key: probably the coolest ability of this creature, Tyrannophontes can switch between 3 different vision types, beyond normal vision (real mantis shrimps have the most complex eyes in the animal kingdom, having between 12 and 16 photoreceptor cells, the ability to change wavelengths, trinocular vision and depth perception). When using one of the other 3 vision types will consume stamina, Tyrannophontes will also not be able to use the hallucination/hypnosis skill. Night Vision: same function as Night Vision Goggles or rather, equal to the Tek Helmet's Night Vision, giving perfectly clear vision underwater (I honestly think a dynamic polarization vision would be more interesting, but I don't know how this could be applied in the game). If you carry a light pet with Charge Light active to detect highest-level wild dinos, this Tyrannophontes vision will be extremely useful for analyzing the nearby creature's stats. It also lets you detect buried creatures such as Reapers Passive Skills and Utilities By now it is clear that Tyrannophontes was made for PVP, but it would also be very useful in PVE and Host Solo. They are excellent in fights against Reapers, are not affected by the knockback of Tail Swings and are immune to Burning Acid from Reapers when they die. You could leave your Tyrannophontes walking, so they would collect various natural resources in large quantities and still with a 75% weight reduction of practically all these resources (more efficient than a Ravager). Males and Females would pick up resources with different efficiencies, the Males being Spearers would work like a metal sickle collecting more Tatch, Fiber, Berries, Mushrooms, Flint, Organic Polymer, Meats and Silica Pearls, while the Females being Smashers, would work like a metal pickaxe/axe, collecting more Fungal Wood, Hide, Pelt, Chitin, Keratin, Crystal, Obsidian, Oil, Metal, Stone, Black Pearl, Element Ore and Gems (Tyrannophontes can be carried by Karkinos and thrown by them to reach higher areas, thus allowing for a more efficient means of locomotion with a large amount of resources). Tyrannophontes are also immune to radiation, but the best thing about this is that they can absorb ambient radiation into their exoskeleton, making them almost like a walking "nuclear reactor". When they become radioactive, they glow a fluorescent bluish hue, but no need to worry as the Tyrannophontes' radiation does not affect the rider, nor dinos and other tribe members, wild dinos and PVP tribes will only be contaminated if your Tyrannophontes attacks them, but you can activate the "release radiation" option in the Tyrannophontes option wheel, with that all wild creatures and PVP tribes will be exposed to the radiation of your Tyrannophontes. By releasing radiation, your Tyrannophontes will function both as a ranged defender, exposing radiation to virtually any threat, and as a Tek Generator, supplying power to any electrical devices in your base, be it on land or underwater bases, lasting around 48 hours in real life, until all the radiation is gone (stats in percentage), but you can turn this option off whenever you want to store the rest, it is very functional, as radiation is also a energy type (although Tyrannophontes radiation has the same range as a Tek Generator, it is not capable of powering Tek devices). Scorpion under ultraviolet light Just for fun, Tyrannophontes would mimic some survivor emotes (like Bloodstalker does). Saddle: Tyrannophontes's saddle can be unlocked at level 62 and crafted at the Smithy, with 210x Hide, 120x Fiber, 110x Cementing Paste, 380x Metal Ingot 125x Crystal and 50x of each Gem. The saddle is closed and prevents the player from losing oxygen, in addition to preventing you from being exposed to mushroom spores, radiation, Basilisk venom spitt, Reaper acid blood, the day surface of Aberration and Rockwell energy spheres (the rider and his light pet are unaffected by being protected inside the saddle, but the Tyrannophontes will still take damage if hit, albeit reduced), its design would be a combination of the Magmasaur Saddle with the Roll Rat Saddle.
  7. Umoonasaurus Common name: Umoonasaurus Species: Umoonasaurus demoscyllus Group: Reptile Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Docile Habitat: Ocean (Mostly found near the colder regions of the Ark) Wild Happily frolicking along the cold seas of the Ark is a plesiosaur of small stature called a Umoonasaurus, it has a notable crest made of keratin on its head which is much larger than its real world counterpart. Like its relatives the Umoonasaurus tends to reside in the deepest parts of the ocean feasting on its favorite food: the Ammonite. While I was watching the Umoonasaurus attack Ammonites I have noticed that it doesn't get attacked by other creatures while eating, it seems to delicately chew through the shell of the Ammonite by extracting the bile and not letting a single drop of it to leak from its mouth. Domesticated Umoonasaurus doesn't need a saddle to be ridden but can still be crafted to help provide the creature with protection, it also allows the rider to use weapons while riding it. It is a fast ocean mount able to outspeed even an Icthyosaurus, but the speed comes at a cost. It can dart through the water at high speeds but only in short bursts because its stamina drains too quickly when sprinting. Umoonasaurus is an adept bile gatherer and can also harvest pearls on the sea floor making it an invaluable tame in the oceans of the Ark. Taming Method: Umoonasaurus has to be passively fed Ammonite Bile but doing so will not attract any unwanted attention as creatures tend to ignore the Umoonasaurus when its feeding on Ammonite. The only problem in the taming process is that the Umoonasaurus is quite a playful creature and will want you to chase it after being fed. Its a fast creature to chase so bringing an Icthyosaurus is recommended, the Umoonasaurus only slows down when it wants to be fed again. Abilities: Mounted Bite - Harvests meat, silica pearl, black pearl and large amounts of ammonite bile. Whirlpool - Rapidly spins in a circle, knocking back and damaging nearby creatures hit. Dash - Lunges forward, covering a large distance and damages creatures in its path. It consumes a lot of stamina when used. Passive Keratin Armor - The keratin covering its head provides natural armor and reduces incoming damage taken from the front. The Umoonasaurus doesn't take reduced damage when attacked from the back and its sides. Ammonite Hunter - Deals increased damage towards Ammonites and harvests large amounts of bile from each kill. Has a higher chance of obtaining silica pearls and black pearls when harvesting the Ammonite's body, creatures ignore you when you attack an Ammonite. Insulation - Provides the rider with insulation but its effect is much weaker compared to a Basilosaurus. Credit to Johan Egerkrans for the used artwork.
